Sign up is at rpg-chronicles
You can do day-job rolls here (if the pregens have them)
After signing up at rpg-chronicles, drop in here and dot into gameplay too.
When I have the pregens I'll post them so you can work out which you would like the play.
GM Aerondor |
Looks like just Azara is the last left to post here. It would be helpful to also dot post into game play so when we kick off you get notifications.
When the PDF arrives I'll post the pregen info here.

Technomancer or Operative for me, or I'll give the Vanguard a go - still learning that class.
Azara Thenason |
Hello. Looks like I'm late to the party.
I'll take the Vanguard.
Sounds like Zoomba is the only one who wants the Envoy.
So BGiB and phaeton can paper-rock-scissors over the Operative and Technomancer.
phaeton_nz |
I'll take the technomancer then - having more than one of them each.
GM Aerondor |
Can I get you to all make sure your tag lines are up to date for the pregens.
Most importantly EAC/KAC, Perception and SM are very helpful for me to have at hand without needing to look up.
GM Aerondor |
Just pick one. These pregens have a number of editing issues. No worse than many pregens I guess.
lna-464 SRO |
lna-464 is pretty good at slight of hand once that becomes available. Until then I'm thinking
Barat Oza Interference/Perception
Aramesh Maageri Conversationalist/Diplomacy
Kevan Bokoloff Saboteur/Computers
LNA-464 Copilot/Culture or Distraction/Intimidate
Friendly Neighborhood Pregen |
I think when it comes time, Ina-464 is definitely our pickpocket.
Until then, Aramesh can hold the fort in keeping Brom talking. Could use a copilot/wingman at the jump to get a good in, but also someone to Interfere with Royce would be good: I don't trust him in or out of character.
GM Aerondor |
Right, go and post in the gameplay. I'll bot the others if required. I know it is Thanksgiving in the states, so lots of folk are away from their machines.
2-X "Deuce" McKenna |
Barat has no opinion.
I can see merits on both sides (he could be a spoiler if we don't include him but no doubt has his own goals which may conflict with our own.)
But I'm leaning toward cutting him out.
GM Aerondor |
Sounds like that is a no. So post a response to him in gameplay, and go on with your regular social encounter interactions (conversationalist etc)
lna-464 SRO |
The guards are probably just outside the door but haven't entered because they are too busy laughing at us.
Friendly Neighborhood Pregen |
Should've stolen &*^&*ier wheels: it has been a bit so I'd forgotten how much more you kind of want to be riding in worse vehicles because their piloting check DC is much lower.
That and given some more prayers to Desna before this whole op :p
lna-464 SRO |
Would going back and helping actually help? Shooting it out with the local cops seems pointless and Kevan can't take hits for the car. But if Elena can use her piloting skills to help the other car escape I'm willing to try.
GM Aerondor |
Not really, then you would need to escape too.
The scenario as written has quite a bit of vagueness about this particular chase scene. From what you have seen of the hovercycles drivers skill, you hope that Aramesh shouldn't have much trouble losing them.
Friendly Neighborhood Pregen |
Not much trouble losing to cops, but mechanically I apparently have a 25% chance of going backwards each time in this car. We'll be shot to death long before the bikes become the problem :)
2-X "Deuce" McKenna |
Just to save you having to ask the question again and again, you can assume that Barat takes all the hits for Aramesh until he get's knocked out.
Neither one of them are getting out of there if Aramesh goes down so Barat considers himself more expendable.
2-X "Deuce" McKenna |
I'm sure these posts will be making the rounds soon, but I'll be off tomorrow and Monday so my posting will be sparse/nonexistent.
I hope everyone has a Merry Nonreligious Day of Joy, Restoration and Community.
GM Aerondor |
Thanks very much for playing everyone. I'll finish this today so you are out by Christmas.
If your character has a day job (the one you are applying it to) then feel free to roll it.
I'll cut the chronicles now, - you can either update them yourselves or let me know the DJ check and I can make the changes once I have some time up my sleeve again.
edit: Small error on their web site stopping me doing that, hopefully support fixes it soon. Otherwise I'll try to do the chronicles by hand, but my favorite free pdf editing tools expired :-(
lna-464 SRO |
Applying it to Silver Streak 145373-705
profession lawyer: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (18) + 18 = 36
2-X "Deuce" McKenna |
I'll be applying this to Azara Thenason 143948-714
Profession (Poet): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29
Scottermander Tracy |
Latest Adobe Reader has a Fill and Sign function - that's what I use for my Chronicles.
dayjob = Disaster First Responder: 1d20 + 10 + 5 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 10 + 5 + (6) + 1 = 41
Applying to Scottamander Tracy = 124312-710

Chronicles are now available
Please check them and let me know any problems.
Thanks once more for playing and congratulations on your successful heist.
lna-464 SRO |
Thanks for the game everyone. Glad we all made it out alive.
And thanks to GM Aerondor for running it.
EbonFist |
Thanks for the game, everyone and especially the GM!
I feel like our heist could have gone smoother, but I'm not sure how.
GM Aerondor |
You had some very bad luck with the combats.
To first one, I thought you might have some way to put the solo guard to sleep with your needler.\
The last encounter you could have tackled as you did, or fighting your way out (inside a mech) or just finessing your way through "who us?" - each played out quite differently which is nice - means a table can lean toward what they feel like on the day/night/week.
