Hmmm... now I've confused myself. I distinctly remember it. Maybe I missed the submit button.

Damhán scowls at the next obstacle as if trying to decide whether to just tear the whole thing apart with his mind, and scatter it across the field.

Eventually though, he gives an annoyed sigh, and gets down to make the attempt. Slowing every now and then to mentally push up on any particularly low sections of wire.

GM: He is going to use his telikinetic ability to try to push the wires and such upwards as he goes, so he has a little more clearance... and perhaps a bonus on his escape artist rolls =)

Witch's Winter Holiday

@Damhán - I like it! However, the captain might not approve of your tricks, and Basic Telekinesis is a spell-like ability which has a visual manifestation. Thankfully, there's a very easy place where you could keep that from being seen easily - and what's even better is that you're already there!

Damhán gets stuck in the glass-encrusted wires, but eventually finds a passageway and gets halfway through the obstacle. Connig joins him there, having had a bad run-in with some bricks earlier.

Since Alrik already posted, we'll resolve his actions too.

Alrik struggles to fit his stout form into the slender crawlspace without tearing his clothes, but doesn't have much luck until Damhán discretely moves a bit of wire out of the way and helps open a path forward. Ahead, Taariik looks up at the climbing wall - made all the bigger by his current state of shrunkenness. 2 Climb checks to pass.

@Damhán - Captain Othis might not know how Damhán is doing his telekinesis, but she would certainly recognize that he is using magic. And even given what little you've seen of her, she would not likely respond well to what she sees as "cheating". Perhaps Damhán has heard of the concept of "demerits", and might recognize them as the opposite of his mission?

Ayo gets halfway through the bear crawl before her muscles give out and she gets stuck. She looks ahead, seeing Ebonfeather deftly wriggling through to join Conig at the climbing wall. Taariik slips and nearly falls twice as he slowly ascends the wall, though he only makes it up partway.

@Taariik - let's say 1 round of Spirit Dance per Climb check, so 2 rounds used climbing so far.

Correct - "halfway" in the turn tracker indicates only one more successful check is required to complete that obstacle.

Damhán emerges from the tangle of broken glass and bricks, leaving Alrik and Ayo to fend for themselves underneath. Alrik promptly gets stuck, barely able to move without cutting himself. "If I wanted to see a wet noodle flop around I'd be at the cantina!" Captain Othis comments loudly. "Stop wasting everyone's time and either give up or get out. And you!" She turns her attention to Ebonfeather at the base of the climbing wall. "Stop lazing around and get to work! I'm sure you are used to taking things easy back home, but here in the trenches-"

The captain's observations are cut short as part of the climbing wall breaks under Taariik's hand, unleashing a barrage of rocks and pebbles!

Apologies for the delay in posting - life caught up with me for a bit.

Ebonfeather gets halfway up the climbing wall before finding himself stuck without any handholds above. Conig struggles to even reach the first handhold on the wall, and Ayo gets herself more and more stuck in the tangled wires of the bear crawl.

"Are you going to stand there all day, or are you going to finish this?" Captain Othis bellows at Taariik as the ifrit catches his breath. "Or are you just afraid of getting your hair wet?"

Damhán manages to refrain from sending things lobbing at the Captain, as she continues to berate everyone.

Knowing the climbing to be a lost cause, he doesn't dwell on it, instead bypassing the obstacle entirely... only to met by a new one.

He frowns at the muddy water... but in the end realizes its just that, muddy water. Back home, they'd be tossing you into a fast flowing frozen river. This had to be a step up from that.

With a sigh, he jumps in, and starts a slow, but steady paddle, across the flooded quarry

Witch's Winter Holiday

Damhán paddles steadily across the muddy water, catching up with Taariik and Ebonfeather on the other side. As the three Pathfinders dry themselves off, they watch as Alrik scales the wall and approaches Conig, who flounders uselessly at the far end of the flooded quarry.

Ayo struggles with the wall, painstakingly making her way upward only to come crashing back down under the weight of her armor. Captain Othis taps her foot impatiently as she jots something down on her clipboard, but doesn't say anything as she watches.

Yeah, all these challenges are made that much worse for Ayo because of that hefty armor check penalty. Would she be willing to remove it if one of her companions suggested she do so? She's seen Alrik and Taariik both remove their armor.
