@Boris: I assume that's a demoralize attempt. I'm assuming you're targetting whoever is closest.

The two closest ysoki flinch when Boris and Vyecmuraf speak their harsh words. They don't really break off their harassment, though. The first one stands his ground, while the other takes a guarded step back and throws from sort of canister towards the emissary. The third one seems to do something similar.

Mizix gets a shot in on red before being dragged to the floor.

The area fills with a nasty noxious smoke.

They are riot grenades - no smoke, but nasty effect if inhaled

Kaarnah gets a bad whiff of the noxious vapours, but manages to pick up the packages. Vyecmuraf gets a shot in on the front ysoki, while Tel'kk gets his numbing beam weapon. Mizix braces for impact as she stands up, while LAR fires a stray laser.

There's a role-playing game that is very popular on Absalom station, set in times in which gnomes weren't bleached. Perhaps Mizix is confused with that one? Standing up doesn't provoke anymore in this modern age.

From what I could find, riot grenades' effect lasts only 1 round

Vyecmuraf looks around for more of the ratty hoodlums, but find none. As the group doesn't press the fleeing ysoki, all but one of them get away.

Station security is on site soon enough, and with enough witnesses on hand, the situation is cleared up quick enough.

Combat over

Insofar as an android of its station can be considered gleeful, DV8 gleefully makes its way back, the packages still intact.

All that is left is heading back to the lorespire complex to complete the tour...

Of course, the windy back passages and platforms that lead back are not without peril. Not long after the group departs the mall they hear a chilling chanting, combined with the popping and zapping sounds of crude ranged weaponry.

While this new and pointless conflict begins Boris for some reason thinks back to the first time he went with Vyecmuraf to an art gallery. His favorite comments from the art critic were:

The ponds are decorative and about a foot deep

Mizix shoots the red eye again, and this time hits it between the eyes, which is enough to do him in. Vyecmuraf brandishes a glass head as target. Kaarnah helps Mizix, while Tel'kk moves up and fires a stray shot. Boris throws a grenade, and the sudden appearance of a burly Vesk causes much alarm to goblins on both sides. The glass heads can't seem to decide between Vesk and enemy, so they spread fire, while the red eyes try to deal with the Vesk, though a stray shot grazes Lar. The goblins seem to be none-the-wiser, even after hitting the fake vesk.

The Holo Vesk seems to ignore the beams of energy passing through it and goes through round 2 of it's act, a slow and exaggerated raising of the Doshko and a wicked toothy grin as if he's picking out a target to give a mighty two handed overhead smash!

Boris takes aim at the anointed target and lets fly twice with his plasma claw.

This is not at all what I expected! Is this some sort of organic lifeform prank, that this tour will 'deviate' from what is expected?!

Still not knowing exactly what is going on, or why the goblins are attacking each other, or why we are now attacking them, or why they are shootng at him, Lar will stride forward, turn to his left, and send a cone of super heated air at the two goblin that are left on that side.

Maybe if I eliminate one side of the conflict, the other side, the victors, will leave

And somehow also utterly missed the first round's Get 'Em! too. Apologies: have been posting while on minor vacation this week, seem to not have been paying as much attention as I normally do.

With a surge of confidence - coupled with unexpectedly feeling a bit better while also being chastened by the kasatha - Mizix fires twice at the helmeted goblin her four-armed friend is pointing at. while being glad that Kaarnath dropped into a slump so that there's now less confusion about which four-armed figure she should listen to.
