After Aramyros casts mending the spell seems to make the button light up. Those still looking down into the shaft see the light begin to rise up. Within 10 seconds the light comes to the door and rises above it. You see a box of worked metal with a stone floor and ceiling. Attached to the ceiling seems to be dancing lights.

If you step in you notice that a very similar button that was outside is inside as well.


Once on the next level you notice that the dust has been replaced with webs. You appear to be in a large room but with so many webs it is hard to tell how big the room actually is. There appears to be tables and chairs in this room but they are covered in webs.

Thorn is rather fascinated with the mechanism of the rising box. He's never seen or heard of such a thing.

Stepping in, he begins examining the contraption and presses the button to see if it works the way he thinks it does......

If there is room, Baahir rides the elevator with the first group.

"We should be careful with this device. No telling when it could power down or what awaits us below. I will travel down with whoever wants to explore it." he says preparing himself.

Arriving down below he begins to worry, seeing so many webs means there is a possibility of creatures. Spiders have to eat after all. He draws his blade as he wait for others to join.

"We should proceed with extra caution. The weaver of these webs could be lurking."

Will wait to see who all is coming down before exploring further.

"I think it best we all stick together" she will voice as she gets on the mechanism. If worse comes to worse, she can fight to climb out. She is not a quitter.

Once those who are going are aboard, she will watch curiously as it descends.

"It seems it was your magic that worked it, Aramyros."

Fortunately for them, most of them had some form of power that perhaps the mechanism can harness. As she descends and sees the webs, she will draw her blade like Baahir. She will nod to him and move forward gracefully and silent.

Andrei follows wherever Callie goes and gets on the moving box. Seeing the half-elf draw her blade, Andrei follows suit with his new rapier.

She shrugs and joins the others on the device, provided there is enough room and it seems stable. Once they came among the webs, she peered into the shadows looking for the weaver Baahir spoke of.

"wow, gross. So many webs." Aramyros notices after leaving the elevator.
"Anyone got a torch? Maybe Blaze should lead through this room." He explained while trying to get rid of the webs. His natural darkvision usually made him ignore to bring a simple device like a torch that would now be useful to burn away the webs.

Blaze steps forward, always eager to unleash the flames that burn within her. "Yes, I can burn them all. If you are sure we want to flush out all that hide within?"

If the group does not object, she stands apart and extends her arms and tail. In a slow, methodical manner, she seems to grasp at the immaterial and begins to draw it toward herself. All around you, tiny sparks bloom in the air and the temperature seems to grow warmer, then a bright flash emanates from the tiefling as the fiery motes swirl together and then surge toward her in a rush like a blast of desert wind that leaves a chill in it's wake.

Full-round to gather power, which does make a very obvious display and makes a loud sound. Blaze can now infuse her ranged blast up to 2 burn points so that it's range is increased to 120 ft and it will light whatever it strikes on fire. (Extended Range and Burning Infusion)
Going to hold off on firing it to be sure this is what we want to do since setting fires underground could be hazardous to creatures that require oxygen... XD


The elevator could hold eight but it would be a squeeze. Also do you want to put that much weight on it?!? XP

Blaze:

You notice in the room with the boxes, no one really looked in this room. You are the first person to move the dust here. As you get closer you see through the illusion of most of the boxes and crates. Beyond you see that there are consoles which show many rooms. With levers, buttons, and all sorts of devices to move. You have never felt magic so powerful and as you move to tell others or leave, a screen flashes on saying in several languages, all that you know, Only You Shall Know. For anyone to perceive the room as you do they will have to beat a DC 30 Will save.

As you exit the elevator there are no apparent threats but there are plenty of hiding places.

Blaze you see a few spiders about but the largest would be the size of your hand. Even as you power up no threats make themselves known.

Andrei carefully gets off the moving platform and laughs, "Hâ! Dîs îz my fîrșț dungeon! Ăye hăve heărd șo much ăbouț dem. Îf țhere âre ăny deățhțrăpș, țhey ăre hîdden very well." The caydenite pulls a gulp of 'courage' from his flask all the same.

"Agreed Thorn, better we know what is below where we sleep. Sarenrae protect us, perhaps it will be unoccupied otherwise we will be able to work on our teamwork in battle. I can help clear them with you Blaze...these boxes could catch fire." Baahir says using Spark to burn way the pieces farther from the boxes and swiping the rest with his sword.

Earlier, 1st level, Room full of crates and boxes
Blaze stood stock still as she stared at the wall of the room. Only the tip of her tail switched back and forth, much like a cat preparing to pounce. "Baahir..." She called to the cleric and waited for him to join her in the room. "Can you... do you see that?" She pointed with a trembling hand to a blank, empty spot on the wall.

Unfortunately, she seems to be pointing at nothing.

Blaze shuddered and then wrapped her arms around herself as if she felt cold at his reply. She continued to stare at the wall looking from one portion of the blank wall to another.

GM:
Can she see any sign of anyone else (creatures or NPCs) other than the party on the screens?

Now, 2nd level, Room with webs
She nodded to Thorn and Baahir and launched her blast into the greatest concentration of webbing she could see. She made no effort to target the spiders, but she also took no great pains to spare them either.

Ranged Touch Attack(Fire Blast): 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 1 = 23 Fire Damage: 2d6 + 2 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5, 5) + 2 + 5 + 2 = 19

The nimbus of red-gold flames bursts forth to surround her again as she lets loose her blast. "Sorry, is overflow. It should not burn you, though."

Using Burning Infusion, will set anything inanimate on fire, provided it will burn. If it strikes a creature, they get a Reflex save DC 16 to negat catching on fire. Blaze's Elemntal Overflow comes out whenever she uses her Wild Talents.

Burning Infusion:
Your kinetic blast ignites your foes. Whenever an infused blast hits a foe and penetrates its spell resistance, that foe catches on fire, regardless of whether it takes damage. A foe that catches fire takes 1d6 points of fire damage each round until the fire is extinguished. Against a creature on fire from this infusion, any fire kinetic blasts gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls, to DCs, and on caster level checks to overcome spell resistance.

Earlier, 1st level, Upstairs, Center Room
In agreement with Blaze, there doesn't appear to be traps on either of these doors. She will open the center room's door first and then sees there are boxes within. With her detect magic, she scans the room before entering.

Perception: 1d20 + 14 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 14 + 1 = 31
Using Detect Magic as normal. If there is nothing here, we can move on. Although, gauging from Blaze's last post, there is something of note...

Earlier, 1st level, Upstairs, Left Room
Having finally finished with the right and center room, she proceeds to the left door she had earlier checked for traps with Blaze. Now opening it, she searches it with magic, finding there are odd runes on the floor. In agreement with Baahir's sight, she nods.

"I see them. Let's be careful..." As she is not skilled with understanding spells that have already been cast that are not affecting items, she searches the room with the others avoiding the runes and whatever they may do to her.

Now, 2nd Level, Room with webs
"You are amazing, Blaze...look at you go." she comments concerning the display the woman manages to conjure. She then will look back to Andrei and chuckle. "It is not my first dungeon. I had to escape one once."

She will take point after the blast has been released, just in case something comes at them. She also will be looking above and around them to make sure they are not surprised as she steps out into the now cleared opening of webs.


Blaze:
You can see all of the first level and what you believe is the second level which are coveres in webs.
On the last screen you see a room with a large ornate treasure chest and four clockwork warriors with swords and shields around it.

The first level includes the kitchen, the spell component room, the pedestal room, the hallway leading up to this room including the cave in, several views of the central room, four elevator rooms, and the wood crafters room with all the shelves.

The second level sees mostly webs.

Slowly each round Blaze starts to catch the webbing on fire one square at a time, the fire spreads a bit but barely taking out all the webs in that square.

Baahir finds some crates in the room as he burns the webs away.

There are chairs and tables in this room that don't look destroyed and look in pretty good condition compared to the ones upstairs. The fire from Blaze might singe them a bit, but not much.

Lilianne sees nothing magical in the North Central room that Blaze acts weird in. You can pretty easily search most of the room on the left without going into it. Are you stepping into the room with the magical runes on the floor or not? You could try to step in without touching the floor by hanging on the shelves but the floor is covered in the runes.

Touching the floor in the spell component room:
You feel a great swoosh and the walls are lined with all sorts of spell components. Jars filled and labeled with all sorts of stuff. Looking behind you at the door you see a portal that looks like the night sky.

Lilianne will spend time in this room searching the crates but ultimately finding nothing. She will linger there to see what Baahir and Blaze are talking about.

Earlier, 1st level, Upstairs, Left Room
Lilianne will walk into the room cautiously, not aware that her doing so will set off the runes. She, after all, is not experienced with runes so well. Believing she can circumvent the runes turns out false and suddenly she looks behind her to see a portal that looks like the night sky. She will consider taking some of the more valuable spell components, but the strange ones she may just leave there for now.

With no way out except for in, she will have to return through the doorway to walk into the portal.

Baahir strains his eyes looking for something...anything but to no avail.

"I...no...can you tell what you are seeing? Are you alright?" he asks concerned for Blaze and worried about his own eyesight. He sees her begin to shiver and retreat, prompting him to place his arm around her.

"It must be some foul trick! Know that I am real. As are our allies." he says still looking around the room for any changes as he comforts her.

Currently.

"Lilianne is right! You do have a marvelous gift...the way you handle the flames could make someone forget their natural danger." he says with admiration, being one of those that can forget in the dancing fire.

With the webs clear he is more at ease to explore the room, noting the better condition of furniture.

"Things are in better condition here once the dust and webs are gone. Shall we explore further."

Are their doors leading out of this room. I am thinking it is the large room on the 2nd Floor map?

Although I think I will wait on what we as a party (or as an individual) do next till the timelines re-converge. It appears something interesting is happening up top with the runes.

Watching Blaze remove the webs was amazing to the one called Thorn. He's seen many strange and wonderful things during his time with his Fey Kin but this event from Blaze was worthy to be placed in the ranks of Amazing things!

Stepping forward, Thorn begins examining the areas cleared of webs.

Blaze shook her head, feeling terribly alone even nestled beneath Baahir's comforting arm. "I... I do not know. I see..." She pressed a hand to the smooth surface before her. "I see image... like painting but moving. I see... us. The others, they stand in that room there but I see them here." She pointed, again to a blank expanse of wall. Something pulled her eye to yet a different portion and she tapped the smooth surface. "There! I see Andrei, he comes back now, through room where we find builder machine... now kitchen... past rockfall passage. Now! He should be reaching others there, now!" She gestured excitedly and then rushed to the doorway to see if it was true. (Was searching the room while Andrei went to burn his cursed wreath, so hopefully this works...)

Now, 2nd Level, burning webs
Blaze ducks her head under the compliments the others heap upon her. It is hard to tell beneath the firey haze of her Elemental Overflow's aura, but it seems as though a blush colors her fair cheeks.

She searched the room well before they moved on from here.
Take 20 for 30 total perception.

You come out of the elevators from the West wall. I will add your avatars to the map to help orient you.

There are 5 doors,red doors, and one open archway, yellow door, where a door might be, it could just be open.

The elevator rooms/cars do emit pretty strong magic. So the buttons having a faint magical aura seems to be what summons them to the appropriate level.

Staying in the main room you find two large tables with chairs around them. Also four desks which have one or two chairs next to them. Any papers or general items left behind have no use to them anymore. One of the desks has a worry stone with a swirling line scratched into it, though it is mostly worried away. The large tables both emit magic, they have a small shelf in front of each chair and within you find a set of silverware, a plate, a glass, and a cloth napkin. These mess kits are all in pristine condition and seem like they could be sold at a good price.

You are pretty sure that prestidigitation is set upon the small shelves and on the top of the table.

"Like some kind of divinations? But there is no one maintaining it...It makes me wonder how much Ethos knew and did not share with us." Baahir says exasperated and the finding, yet he still takes a moment to speak to Blaze.

"Do not worry. Even if we can't see it...we believe you. At this point the unbelievable feels scarce." he says as they meet with Andrei.


Blaze:
The monitor with the words goes blank and then begins writing anew. "All the masters are gone or are dead. You have been given temporary watcher status. Security Drone 213 is responding. No extra defensive measures have been deployed."

Andrei looks around but doesn't see much, a few miniscule spiders, a few rocks that were not smoothed out, and debris on the ground.


As Lilianne walks into the spell component room, she reaches for a several items on the shelves that don't appear to be there. Then she walks out and leaving the closet her arms are full of components.

Lilly:
As you walk through the portal you are back in the hallway with your group with the spell component room/walk in closet at your back.
It seems the runes took you to a different room and the portal returned you.

"That is strange I cannot detect it..." she replies to Baahir and Blaze. "It must have a magical aura that is responding to you and is concealed to others. Hmm..."

When Andrei shows up at the control room, she grins as it seems Blaze isn't crazy.

"Now that is neat. We were just talking about you." she will speak up to Andrei.

"Well, I'm going to check the room on the left."

Upstairs Left Room
As Lilianne sorts through the supplies, she will stuff the ones she wants to keep into her pack, and then will exit through the portal. As she comes outward, she will comment to those around her.

"It seems the runes will activate no matter what when you go in. I was taken to a different room somewhere else...not this one. There were some spell components in there. I picked up the more valuable ones."

She will then wait for the others to finish and will proceed down the stairs with them to check out the other pathways down from the main dining hall.

Downstairs SubLevel

Now that the webs have been cleared she will nod with Andrei's assessment of the place being a maze.
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33

"I am hearing movement. Likely small spiders to the north...and coming through a door over there to the south is a large spider trying to come through a doorway."

Lilianne will suddenly fall into disguise. A magical flicker happens where she stands and suddenly before you is a much large, stronger looking woman with an even more massive looking sword. It is an illusion, but the spiders won't know that until they interact with her figment by attacking her.

She will also invoke her stare, though none around her will notice a difference. She just seems focused on the danger that may potentially come.

Knowledge Nature (Untrained): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

"Anyone know what it is?"
Using Fearsome Guise and Hypnotic Stare/Painful Stare. This won't come into play until combat ensues (if it does) and the large spider won't know it's being affected.

Blaze pays close attention to the blank expanse of wall for a moment and then her eyes narrow as she considers again. "Or mebbe better say something knows we are here. It sound like machine... it say, er... write,

"Mebbe it listens too... Who is giving status? Who sends messages? How to open wards in kitchen? Please?" She speaks aloud to the wall, hoping that whatever is communicating with her is doing more than just seeming to respond.

Now, 2nd Level, Dining Room?
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Blaze could not spot what Lilianne was referring to until she pointed it out. But she took a step out from the group and gathered power, that strange reaching and grasping motion and then the flow of warm energy that rushed into her like the blast of hot wind off a smith's furnace. She then flung out her hand and sent all that energy toward the spider.
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 (Feel free to disregard this if you roll for everyone)

If this is a surprise round against those of us failing the perception check, Blaze is surprised. If Lilianne telling us what she sees lets us act, Blaze will just 5 ft step and gather power. If we get a full first round, Blaze will gather power and then Fire Blast the spider. If it's the door directly south of us, she will use Burning Infusion, paying the burn cost with her point of gathered power. If it's the southwest door, she will spend the point for extended range.

Blaze hits the spider with her ray and it slams the door shut and you can hear lots of movement. Several medium sized beetles come down through the archway with fire blowing out of their front horn. They now stand just out of the doorway to the North.

I'm back. Sorry, I was on a small trip and while I followed the thread, the two lines of actions got me too confused to respond properly

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
surprise round action: Not knowing what exactly these beasts are, Aramyros assumes a defensive position with his scythe ready and casts a protective spell against any evil-kind. You hear him mumbling some divine words, but only Blaze might actually be able to understand them.

Ini: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

buff: +2 deflection bonus to AC and a +2 resistance bonus on saves versus evil

Blaze will do an additional point of damage to the spider from Lilianne's stare.

Lilianne will hear the danger from the north and will see how the large spider has closed its door. In a quick moment, she will turn to cast a spell at the edge of the north passageway. Now any Fire Beetle that comes through the doorway will have to try not to trip as grease seems to be taking form on the floor.

There are no words that come from Lilianne, but she seems to be intently focused and almost burdened in heart as she casts. A moment later, the slick formation forms.

Lilianne will ready an action to attack the large spider if it comes through the door to attack again. First will come her hypnotic stare, and secondly, if the spider comes up close to swing at her, she will unleash her fearsome guise.

Lilianne (if attacked by the large spider) will distort from the image of the large barbarian-esque woman she was, into some hideous form just for a split second. This will cause the spider only to be affected.

Blaze merely shrugged to indicate there was no reply. "I can study this later. Mebbe make drawing to show what I see here." And with that she seemed much more settled and ready to move on.

Now, 2nd Level, Dining Room?
Blaze laughed abruptly when the spider suddenly slammed the door, retreating from her flame blast. "Ha! It did not like that!" She turned to face the vermin now converging on them from the north. She gathered power again, with an exceptional amount of warmth flowing to her from the strange fiery beetles. She then stepped up beside Baahir and loosed another blast at a beetle.

I added an image for a fire beetle and a spider swarm. I will leave it to the GM to place them since I am unsure of the number and position. Using gathered power to infuse with Fire's Fury wild talent, which doubles my overflow damage on a ranged blast. If she is in melee range, swap the ranged blast for attack with Kinetic Blade and add 3 damage. I made a mistake earlier and applied the Con bonus to my ranged blast, but that only applies to blasts involving the blade form. So with Lilianne's bonus, subtract 4 damage from the giant spider.

Ranged Touch Attack(Fire Blast): 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 20 Fire Damage+Overflowx2: 2d6 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (6, 4) + 2 + 4 = 16

Blaze alerts the group of the incoming insects with a fiery attack. Andrei moves to support Blaze by standing next to here, and readies an attack should the bugs make melee range.

Blaze shot the spider, Baahir cast bless, Aramyros casts prot. From Evil on himself,

The spider doesn't seem to want to face her, so when she hears it tumbling about and moving in areas unseen, she focuses on the doorway with the beetles. She moves north and to the right amid the chairs of the table, kicking one out of the way as she moves to a position at the beetle's side that she can flank with someone. There, she will stare at the beetle, afflicting it.

Now that she is closer to the beetles and isn't just hearing them, she tries to see what it is and what weaknesses it may have.

Lilianne hits it and it flees provoking an AoO from her.

The next beetle comes forth and does the same as the first. Breath attack, hitting Blaze, Baahir, and Andrei. acid damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7+fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1, Reflex DC 14 for half.

The third falls prone again then stands up.

He swing wide with his axe, while shouting the above.

Also which vermin please be more specific, I believe the spider but she did slam the door shut before you could study her... so you may adjust your proposed actions, unless you are aiming at one of the beetles. I am not meaning to target you, really! ;)

Aramyros swings with his scythe and cuts deep into the blue beetle. 8/19 hp.
