If you haven't added Pathfinder specific equipment, I suggest you look at the PFS 2 Society rules, in particular the Pathfinder Training section.
Once you have you character, please post this information:
Player name: (you, the person on Earth)
Character name: (the PC you are playing in Golarion)
XP:
Class:
Money: (usually written in GP)
Leveling Speed: (Normal or Slow?)

![]() |

Player name: Palandri
Character name: Jayma
XP: 17
Class: Sorcerer 2
Money: ??
Leveling Speed: Normal
PFS#: 2380483-2003
I just finished leveling Jayma up to level 2 after finishing up an Adventure in time. I've not quite finished outfitting her so her remaining funds are still undetermined.

Player name: JackieLane
Character name: Felika Elvanna
PFS #: 250076-2001
XP: 4
Class: Monk
Money: 15,51
Leveling Speed: Normal
When it comes to the free consumable item, can we pick it after the briefing, or must we choose right away? If we must choose now, I think I'll take a minor healing potion, actually.

OK, Jayma's all equipped and ready to go. Remaining funds are...
Money: 1.29 GP

Thank you for the information, everyone. This will make reporting the chronicles much smoother.
Since everyone has checked in, I'll add your icons to the slides. Please see if you can move your icons. The top of this thread and my header have links to the 1-02 slides.
On page 2, can you decide on your marching order in single and double row arrangement?
@Felika, you can choose your consumables and slot your boons after the briefing.

I confirmed that I can move Jayma's icon.
In fact, I confirmed that I can move everyone's icons, as I took a first shot at putting together a marching order. Jayma really doesn't do well on the front lines; she's usually best tucked away somewhere in the middle; towards the back a little, but perhaps not all the way in the back.
Jayma has an ermine familiar named Twyl that I dotted in and which you will find on the Characters tab. He usually sticks pretty close to Jayma, but not always. It would be great if Twyl had his own mini overlapping icon, like Finn's falcon, Flute.

It appears that we are out of the starting blocks a little before the gun, but that's fine by me.
I should point out that I live in Spain, and if my prior PbP experiences are anything to go by, I assume many of you are in North America somewhere.
Being in Spain means that I am (usually) 9 hours ahead of Pacific Time and 6 hours ahead of Eastern Time. When I get up in the morning, most of you will be fast asleep, and sometime around mid-afternoon your time is when I go to bed myself. The point is that after about 3pm PT or 6pm ET, don't expect to see a post from me until you get up the following morning. Thus, if you don't get a prompt response from me, it isn't that I don't like you; it's because I'm asleep.

I'm in the eastern part of Canada, but my schedule is kinda weird, so I might post just about any time. If I seem to pick up a "regular" posting hour, please don't worry if the next post seems to take more time. I won't worry about delays from you guys either. :)

I am in the Great Nation of Texas (although my last name is derived from "abend rot" so shout out to my German kin) and, it sounds like, given the various time zones involved, the folks in the Americas are the ones who will be the outlyers.

Also...meant to do this in the last post -
Player name: EbonFist
Character name: Zabu "Daggertooth" Creed
PFS #: 143948-2002
XP: (Will update when I get my latest Chronicle)
Class: Barbarian
Money: (Will update when I get my latest Chronicle)
Leveling Speed: Normal

I've arranged you all in a suggested marching order in my slides. Feel free to rearrange them.
Looks fine to me. I'm pretty much ok with any marching order that doesn't have Jayma exposed at one end or the other.

Here is where it describes assigning networking points in the PFS Guide to Play.
You start with three networking points to distribute amongst the three schools. You get one free consumable which you can select from any of the item lists of the schools to which you have assigned at least one of your networking points (plus the All-Schools list). If you spend two of your networking points on any single school, you also get to pick one of the Lore skills from the appropriate school list (and another when you get to 5th level). If you spend all three of your networking points on a single school, then in addition to the one free consumable and the Lore skill, you also get a second free consumable of a level no greater than half your level (minimum 1). If you do not spend all three of your networking points with a single school, you do not get the second free consumable.
So Jayma spent all three of her networking points with the Spells school and ended up with the following:
Training: Spells 3
1 Point: Healing Potion (Minor)
2 Points: Architecture Lore
3 Points: Healing Potion (Minor)
Zabu presumably did the same with the Swords school and picked the same potions as Jayma from the All-Schools list. Looking at his profile, it appears that he picked up Gladiatorial Lore for his second point.
Frankly, I'm not sure why anyone would want to spread their networking points over more than one school, unless they desperately wanted a consumable from one school's list and a Lore skill from a different school's list, for which they were willing to give up the free second consumable. The consumables are worth about 4gp each, which when you're starting out is nothing to sneeze at.
The following are the boons Jayma has slotted for this adventure.
Faction: Horizon Hunters Champion
Advanced: -
Generic 1: Sand Slide (Quest #1A)
Generic 2: Traveler of the Spirit Road (Scenario #1-06)
Generic 3: -
Slotless: Home Region (Cheliax - Inner Sea)

Oops! Since I had assigned to points to one school and one to another, I had completely forgotten about that second item. I'll probably avoid that spread on my next characters. Thank you!

Hehe!

Thanks guys. The RP part is what I love the most about this game and since I have time on my hands these days, I indulge myself.
The irony here is that Jayma essentially did nothing to resolve the runaway carriage situation and only got involved because she couldn't abide ceding the center of attention to others. Hardly heroic.
On the other hand, Finn not only saved two of the passengers, but sacrificed a hero point in the process. My vote's for him.

![]() |

While Finn could have used that point, it has been such a pleasure to read Jayma's posts! I love the role-play part too, though I seem to struggle more when it comes to my PFS characters, and I wish I had your writing talent!

![]() |

Tough choice, but I think I'll go with Zabu for the Hero Point this time.
By the way, are we waiting for something or someone to move on?
Jayma with her darkvision is good to go with the way things are on the slide.

Ahahah, so that's why you've had so many smurfs in your posts! By the way, sorry about that double post. The site seemed to have crashed after I clicked to post, so I just clicked again after adding once precision (about the target of my attacks), but it seems like it actually went through twice...

Jayma, joins a local theater group to play Lady Macbeth in their upcoming production.
Performance (Earn Income): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 (trained)
Overwhelmed by her heartbreaking performance, the audience falls to their knees bawling like babies; their lives forever changed. The following day, the local press devotes their entire front page to lauding her performance.
