Giacomo steps back and fires another Ray of Frost.
range touch, into melee: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 2 - 4 = 2 positive 2 better than negative 2...
cold damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
| Andreas Isidore |
Andreas chuckles at Giacomo as he finishes his Enlarge Person as Kip gets very big!
He then casts his own ray of frost...
ranged touch through cover: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 2 - 4 = 3
...with pretty much the same results.

The dog gets slammed by Kipp's hammer, and it crumples into a heap on the floor.
The heroes now find themselves finally having a peaceful moment.
| Lady Vulpina Korada |
Vulpina does not stop for peace; she gives the room a quick once-over and immediately sets out to find Lamm in one of the other rooms.
| Seren Elberion |
Seren stares about the bloodied room, appalled.
Then she steps outside and speaks to the scattered orphans, "If any of you need food or new clothes, come and find me later at the temple of Desna."
Then she pauses for a second, looking pleadingly, with desperate hope, into their faces, "Do any of you know Gorvy? Is he here?"

Kipp pushes into the wall-
CRUNCH
With a now Kipp sized hole where the door used to be. Little else of this room seems to be of interest, save for the dog's bed of straw and fur. A doorway to the east and two door ways to the north are present.
In the gutting room there is a cabinet. It appears to be locked.
Disable Device.
Small Studded Leather Armor
Small Masterwork Kukri
Disguise Kit
7 gold coins
Vulpina throws open the next door. Inside is a condescending con, descending from a high chair. He looks down his long nose at the intruder. "How dare you break into my office." He draws a wand.

| Andreas Isidore |
"Now where did they all get off to?" asks Andreas. Rather than risking opening a door with other potential enemies, he starts following Kip and Vulpina. 'I wonder what that wand is. I think I need it.'

| Lady Vulpina Korada |
With all of this rushing, you should still be under the effect of bless, so +1 to everyone’s attacks.
One of these days, I’ll actually remember this! Thank you for reminding me!
Kip, Devotee to Azathoth

"I get you this time" Kip attacks Yargin once again.
Hammer: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 4 + 1 = 20
Hammer damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 2) + 4 = 12
Bite: 1d20 + 4 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 - 5 = 2
Bite damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
The hammer connects solidly, but Kip gets a mouthful of door instead of person. Kip also steps forward, so ranged people can get into the room.
GM Worg

Giacomo opens the door to find a short hallway. He can logically assume it leads back to where the party came from.
Vulpina's rapier pierces into Yargin's flesh, and before he can even make a retort, the oversized hammer of Kipp smashes him on top of the head. The wicked man falls into a heap on the floor, twitching as he begins dying.
A few things of note are on his person.

| Lady Vulpina Korada |
"Either there is a hidden exit, or we should have posted someone outside," considers Vulpina.

If there's a hidden exit in this room, she doesn't see it unless it's lit in neon-- and even then, she might miss it.

Certainly enough, Kipp does see a boat outside. It is currently attached to the docks.
| Andreas Isidore |
Andreas notes that there are things to look at later, but follows Kip to the door. "Well, let's all check that out, then, shall we?"
GM Worg
|
The wand is an Acid Splash wand with 28 charges remaining. Nothing else detects as magical.
The Pathfinders travel down the docks towards the boat. The rotten deck of this ancient sailing ship seems to be barely intact; its hull is worn and thick with seaweed and barnacles. The ship is held together primarily by the layers of old rope that lash it securely to the pilings that support the fishery and the nearby boardwalk. The rickety walkway leads along the ship’s starboard, a foot below its railing. A single wooden door leading into the aft cabin bears a crude painting of a red fish on its surface.
Asserted the Marching Order again.
No blocked entry, you just have to hop onto the boat.
| Lady Vulpina Korada |
Vulpina crams her blade into its sheath and reloads her pistol before moving on.
"Not I; never had the knack for magic, I am afraid," she states.
| Lady Vulpina Korada |
Vulpina’s flesh glows for a moment, and she feels refreshed, like a spring breeze that shallows the wound that the halfling managed to give her.
Her eyes light up. ”Well, that is certainly useful!” she grins. ”Healing abilities are hard to come by, and always appreciated.”
Kip, Devotee to Azathoth
|
Coming up to the boat kip looks around, opens his mouth to say something, but pauses and seams to think about it before saying to the rest of the group "All aboard." He then promptly hops on the boat.

"I believe one of our number should remain on the dock-- keep an eye and a weapon at hand in case he flees from a hiding place whilst we have our backs turned," she advises.

Kipp sees that this boat is basically a rotten tub floating on water only because it has fused into the building. A stairwell leading down is nearby, as he can see it through the holes in the wall past the doorway.
Kip, Devotee to Azathoth
|
Kip rushes to the door and raises his food, then jerks to a stop and slowly lowers his foot. He looks to the rest of the party, opening the door the normal, not fun and loud, way.

The air in this room is thick and musty. Thick sheets of cobwebs hang from the walls and mounds of blankets, cushions, and straw clutter the floor. To the south, a narrow flight of stairs leads down into the ship’s hold.
Suddenly, a spider bursts out of the shadows. Its as big as a house cat! It lunges at Kipp and attempts to bite him!

@Seren Correct, it is 1 non lethal.
Deeper into the bowels of the boat, the party finds the lower level to be a dusty and moldy mess. Dark and dank with the smell of mildew. Several barrels, crates, and other containers lie stacked here and there. Dust and grime litter the floor except for where pools of water are seeping through from the river below.
As Kipp and Vulpina enter, many spiders burst forth to attack the intruders!

Is it still into melee if all parties are flat-footed and thus not threatening each other? Asking for a wizard!
Vulpina groans.
"Either he is not present here, or he is far more comfortable betwixt oversized arachnids than I would have assumed," she says, sticking her blade into a spider let's say, the one to the upper-right of her on the map.
