Aurora attends Jherizana's next show, eager to understand the sphinx's motivations and to try to secure a personal audience.
Curious that she still wants to put on a show tonight, after everything that's happened. Why does she travel with these humans anyway?

Aurora:
The performance is a masterful mix of mundane tricks of lighting and distraction and magic, and you nearly missed the clue--the sphinx's paws leave no tracks--but your suspicions and curiosity kept you alert. Jherizhana is not a member of the circus but a very, very clever illusion and con. Clearly, none of the thieves knew this secret or they wouldn't have tried to frame the sphinx. It would have been impossible for the illusion to murder anyone, and if Amara had simply confessed to the illusion, it would have put an end to the accusation.

As the show goes on, Aurora's smile widens and she has to fight to keep herself from bursting into inappropriate laughter.
Oh these Varisians! What they risk for their theatre! What a life to choose!
