My quick eyeball says that with the extra 5' movement cost for flying up a space, and an extra 5' for the turn, 25' of fly speed won't quite make that move. I went ahead and nudged you over to another spot on a crate within reach of the critter, who, since they're very big and overhanging things, will not receive cover...
In general, damage type is **often** important, so something like Slashing + Fire: would definitely be useful. Especially since knowing what the first part is can tell me if the attack's going against KAC or EAC
Acoria's blazing talon slices through the railing, shredding some of the closest feathered phalanges while Doc Newblossom's neurotoxin kicks in as well! Unfortunately Carter's debris simply smacks against the far wall.

The feather stalker reels under the final barrage of blades, bullets and bolts and finally collapses, the building charge of blue energy dissipating harmlessly into the catwalk.
Alex stands, but gingerly. "That was -ahhh- at least one rib..."
Leaning heavily on their shield, they give a shortened, but still respectful bow to the feather stalker's body.
"Well, let's go, I'm sure the Stewards would love to tear down the barricades."
GM Cwethan
A contingent of station security moves into the warehouse to start removing cargo and freeing up the space for the Exo-Guardians. As this occurs, Zigvigix emerges from behind the cordon line to congratulate you all on a successful extermination.
"Six of you went in and six came back out, so no matter what the mission was a success. But how did it go? Did you find it easy to work together?"
Urmfehrumah Newblossom
As the beast falls, Doc Newblossom hustles up to Alex, busily scanning them with their custom microlab. "What was that blue glow? Did you make it, or did the Stalker? Are you feeling OK?"
Medicine? Phys Science? Life Science?: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 +1 if Life Science. +4 to identify unknown drugs, medicinals, poisons, and other chemical substances.
The tiny raxilite stays back, briefly, to collect some specimen samples from the Stalker. "I'll examine these later!" They say, stowing them in sterile capsules in their microlab, before rushing to catch up with their teammates.
"It was fascinating! I suspect, working together, we could encounter all manner of interesting phenomena."
Alex Lichtstark
|
Alex shook their head "Wasn't mine, don't know what that was either, just that it hit like a trox."
Zigvigix clicks their mandibles gently as they broadcast, "Then its an extra good thing you waited til you had backup like I said! Now, let's get you to a medic Alex, but you, you all have other tasks for today! And to help you with those..." Ziggy presents you with a set of basic iridishell armor, a pair of incendiary grenades I, and 400 credits.
"Sorry that some of your payment has to be in kind, but I thought you'd have fun with the grenades. Just don’t blow yourselves up — I like you!"
Urmfehrumah Newblossom
"Hmmmm. Grenades do seem fun, but..." Doc Newblossom looks over the heavy iridishell armor and scratches their head. "I'm not sure I could fit in that...and if I could, I suspect I couldn't hardly walk. No offense intended, but you don't by chance have anything lighter, do you?"
Alex Lichtstark
|
To be clear, it's a set of armor. There'll be other useful things in Newblossom's size, and generally speaking it'll be at least a nominal fee to re-size gear in any duration of downtime
Carter Hamilton
"I'm not practiced in the use of that heavy of armor. I don't know that I'd be strong enough to wear it on a regular basis. Perhaps we can get it resized for Acoria, as she seems tailor made to draw the ire of our opponents?"
Yxov
"That adventure was surprisingly not terrible. Hmm. I wonder what kind of price we could get for this armor if no one wants to use it?"
Isn't the resale of items even worse than 1/2 in Starfinder?
Maonva Mazak
Mao looks at the armor with glittering eyes, at least until everyone starts talking about selling it.
"But it so pretty, besides I know how to use it," she says like a little kid begging their parents for some new flash-wiz-bang-wotzit.
I'll go with what the group decides, but that armor is better than what I have, so if no one minds I'll be more than happy to take it.
Urmfehrumah Newblossom
1 person marked this as a favorite.
Oh wait, I missed that it was one set only. Sorry!
.
Either Mao should take it, or Acoria should take it and give her armor to Mao. I'm afraid resale in Starfinder is only 1/10th price. Not quite nothing, but not much. I was thrown off by it at first...but I kind of think I might like the way it encourages us to use things we might not otherwise buy.
GM Cwethan
Okay so Mao's got the armor, Doc has the grenades(?), between y'all you have several copies of Star Sugar Heartlove!!!
Where to?
Urmfehrumah Newblossom
Doc will happily hold onto one grenade, but someone else can take the other.
The tiny doctor nods their flower in agreement. "No reason to keep Historia-7 waiting."
Maonva Mazak
Thank you.
Mao's studying of the user manual is interepted by a smile and another word of thanks as she takes the grenade and properly stows it away.
Updated sheet coming.
GM Cwethan
Zigvigix... beams? In any case the emotional content of their sending is clearly delighted. "Good good! Please tell me how she enjoys it!"

The Lorespire Complex, home and heart of the Starfinder Society, is a striking campus dedicated to knowledge. Communal labs and historical departments study the Archives’ massive collection of artifacts and texts, gathered by generations of agents from across the galaxy. A quick search of the directory both helps Alex find the infirmary, which they quickly head off to, and also indicates that Historia-7's location is not currently restricted. She can be found within the Archives’ Cortex, a computerized matrix containing digital records of the Starfinder Society’s most prominent discoveries.
The android is reclining on a raised chair amid the gloom, where she's plugged into the local infosphere when the doors open. Neural cables detach themselves from her neck as she swivels in her seat to address the new arrivals. "Greetings, Starfinders," she says calmly. "I am Historia-7. If you are seeking a mission from me, please be aware that my request requires both discretion and speed. Do not accept it if you feel incapable of working within these parameters."
As you approach more closely, the light of of Yxov's body cuts through the dim lighting, revealing that Historia-7 is not alone. The head of a brown furred ysoki seems almost to float in the shadows until Yxov's light shows the dull, matte black plating of his delicately crafted armor. "You don't need me here for this, Boss. They've already got a telepath, and I'm not your best guy for the clickety-clack stuff."
Historia's expression barely changes, but you get the sense she's slightly amused. "Well, Odd Ball, if you aren't of use with their task, then at the very least I expect better profiles for my records."
Turning back to you, she continues, "I discovered someone recently hacked into Bluerise Tower’s computer systems and stole a large amount of sensitive data from the resident corporations. I wish to be privy to this information. I managed to trace the hacker’s location through many proxies and erased the trail so that station and corporate security should be delayed in their pursuit. This deception will not fool them for long, so you must move quickly to retrieve the data before they can recover it. I will leave you to decide what to do with the hacker afterward, but should it be feasible, I believe that person would be an asset to the Society."
Odd Ball
|
Odd Ball's entire face contorts with glee in stark contrast to Historia-7's look of faint bemusement as she gives the collector's EP a once-over. "Ah, yes, they have spoken of their great joy at this release. I assume it lived up to Ziggy's expectations?"
"In any case, the location I discovered isn't quite what I expected. It appears to be a flat in Drifter's End, over in the Ring district."
Yxov
"We switch when it comes time for us to rest. And that's on the same general time-cycle as most other sentient beings. Strange how there are some universal constants even across species, yes?"
Urmfehrumah Newblossom
Hmmmmm
"OK, let's get going. How do we want to gain entry, to meet this hacker. Odd Ball, do you have their name?
"This sounds fascinating--and I'm curious about the data myself--but it's not like anything I've ever done before. Have any of you done so? Do we trick them into letting us in? Do we engage in breaking and entering?"
