I'm not even sure we had any kind of travel plans... beyond meandering towards a larger city. Maybe we need to hunt up some rumors so that we can have some ideas of interesting places to go.

Actually, just realized that Satoshi needs that carrying capacity for passengers.
Kichiro is more important to carry than the anvil.

Yep, that's the plan! Kichiro would be curious what happened with the ghost in the onsen, but he feels like showing up and asking would lead to some awkward questions so he's avoiding it and just getting out of town. :D
I'm going to be away from home today through the 30th, so my responses may be sporadic. (Pretty sure Satoshi will be, too. :D)

If you want to handwave giving your individual report to the patrol captain, you can. We can pick up with those being resolved. Your escorts are out of the picture for a week or so.

Yeah, skipping the interrogation/debrief sounds good.
At this point, Kichiro wants to figure out who's after him and his brother, but doesn't really have any clue how to go about that. So a place to start that investigation would be good. Either that or we get back to trying to go to where we were hoping to get help for Kichiro's condition.
Hmm, yeah, I'm not sure I'd have much in specific to say in the debrief either.

Hmmm... I guess one thing Kichiro would ask during the debrief is if the description of the attackers, particularly their whole snake theme, means anything to the locals.
If that doesn't give any leads, then probably we'll just start getting ready to go on our way. I suppose Kichiro *would* still be willing to go where our escorts were wanting us to go just to see if there's a real problem that needs their help.
