Jonah brings down his flail once more, breaking the troll's femur.
Ingolf swings once more his morningstar, opening a bleeding bruise in the troll's right leg.
Splits offers Tonny more guidance, while the half-elf whips once more the troll distracting the giant beast just enough for Adriana to stab Graular with her scimitar. The troll looks in horror at the woman while trying to grasp the blade between her hands. The woman, as battered as the troll, barely stands as Graular falls over Adriana, unconscious.
As soon as this happens the troll's regeneration resumes once again, starting to heal the wounds.
Graular: 69 damage, unconscious, no regeneration until r6, entangled r8

Adriana: 1/17 hp
Ingolf: 21/20 hp
You have 1 round to decide what do you want to do about it. Next round the regeneration heals 5 hp for the troll unless you stop it from happening, killing it now is not enough unless you deal acid or fire damage to stop the regeneration the round you kill it.

"Ingolf, Jonah, hit it again!" Tonny suggests from the rear. "If you can keep it out long enough for Adriana to make her sword hot again, she can cut off its head. Or something. But the fire is the important part - and keeping it unconscious!"

Ingolf's white-hot rage cooled now that the situation was under control. He focused on keeping the troll from regaining consciousness, delivering a well-placed blow with his morningstar.

Ingolf strikes true in the troll skull. Despite it breaks into three pieces, the bone starts to grow and the skin to cover it fast enough.
But then, as Adriana comes and delivers her own coup de grace, the fire of the Dawnflower burns again on the metal, beheading and finally killing the troll. The fire truly stopped the green giant's unnatural healing.

Prompted by Jonah, the group picks up the troll's bag for later identification and continues their way to Oyin's Emporium through the falling rain.
At the end of the bakery island you find another wooden bridge you hastily cross reaching to the also wooden building of Oyin Emporium. Opening the door and entering inside you find Mirya Oyin placing a bag and a sieve on one of the shelves. She turns to you with a smile "Oh my friends! How are you doing? Ingolf greeted her, "Hello, Mirya! Yes we did — they're doing well. I'm afraid the same is not true of the garrison at Fort Breakthrough; we came upon the scene of a massacre. We think the fort was attacked and overrun by the Mireborn lizardfolk tribe.
"Miryam, you aren't safe here! The storm waters could easily flood this area, and what's worse, we just fought a troll which was looting and killing people! You need to come with us to higher ground."
Did we stop at the farmstead on the way back? We were supposed to pick up the return delivery.

"Lizardfolk at the fort? Oh that is terrible!" the woman seems concerned, but then continues to set stuff on the shelves.
"I am not going to abandon the store me and my late wife built together. Who knows if more than trolls come here to loot the shop? Hurricane Cassia is not moving me away" the woman negates with the head and looks through the windows while the increasing wind makes one of the shutters hit rhythmically at the walls "Only Cassia ever caused such a ruckus around here" Mirya giggles at the thought of her wife memmories.

The druid looks at the arcane script, "I can easily find out what all of this is but I will need fifteen minutes to prepare some magic, now is not the time." He can prepare Read Magic or Detect Magic in a bit for us
He looks at the dying troll and wonders what he can do with its regenerative properties but decides that again, now is not the time. A shame really.
Moving toward the store he just listens and doesn't quite understand. It is just a store, a possession of no sentient value. Then again I was once like this too before I realized my folly.

Jonah is confused by the woman so calmly stocking shelves when a massive storm is coming, and tries to figure out why she would act so foolishly. did she just not realize how serious this storm was going to be?
"I know you've weathered storms before, but this is bad. real bad. we have helped board up some of the buildings in town, you would be much safer there. if this store blew down with you inside there would be no rebuilding it. then the looters will just take whatever is left that wasn't smashed by the storm...
GM Rutseg
Mirya is shaken by the diplomatic words and logical help of the group. She opens her eyes wide "You might be right. Perhaps I should survive this so I can preserve what we built together. Give me a few minutes so I can collect..."
The woman starts to pick up some food, a coat, but also some stuff you doubt of its usefulness like a spyglass and a figurine. Meanwhile you have time to discuss where to go next. Some of you notice Amal Rashid's home is in the same island of Oyin's Emprium, but even then, some others might have a different way to go forward.
Ingolf
Ingolf said to Mirya, "I have your handy haversack here — we can load some things into it for transport. There's Ebba's saddlebags as well."
He helped the woman pack her things, at the same time telling the others, "Amal Rashid lives near here, why don't we go there next?"

"Sounds good!" Tonny answers as he dumps another handful of things into the sack. "Um, sorry, but we need to keep moving. Promise you won't stay here though!" he says to the shopkeeper with earnest eyes.
Adriana the Penitent
It takes Adriana a few minutes to properly come back, the daze of the battle and the toll of her injuries leaving her mind clouded even after Ingolf's healing touch, and by the time she's aware of where she is - and what they're doing, her capable companions having convinced Oyin to get to safety.
Shaking her head a little and wincing - healed as she was, she still ached from the fight - she bites back a groan and carefully nods in agreement with Ingolf "They're already close, we can get them right away." and as she makes for the outside, stops next to Splits and asks "The storm - how much time have we got left? I don't like the idea of splitting up, but if we have to..." She trails off, more because of pain than wanting to state the obvious.
GM Rutseg
Mirya thanks you for the help with the haversack and starts closing her shop while you walk towards the nearby home.
A thunder resounds over your heads as you reach the wooden shack marked in the map. The wood looks sturdy but both windows and roof are not likely to make it through the storm. You knock at the door and short after a pale man with big round eyes and a slightly fallen lip opens the door.
He does receive you at the doorstep, not letting you in "W-who is there? W-what do you want?" The rain drifts sliding through your already soaked faces.
By the way he is looking at some of you, you would say the man does not feel comfortable in front of such a large group of people. Perhaps if only two people were to enter, he would be more amenable to you accessing his home.

Tonny looks at Splits and Jonah. "I think she wants us to go to the other homestead?" he asks under his breath. "She doesn't want to overwhelm this poor fellow with too many newcomers, and we don't have time to just stand around outside waiting for her and Ingolf to finish." He pushes wet hair off his face and tries to get his bearings in the town he's spent less than 24 conscious hours inside.
Tonny's fine to head to the last destination.

Amil seems to relax when the others step back and he lets Ingolf and Adriana to enter a few feet in "S-sorry, I have only lived with my mom until she passed away, j-just three summers ago. I-I am not used to strangers."
The man looks at the open door in terror with rain falling when another flash of lightning let's see Tonny, Jonah and Splits debating if moving away "I-I am sorry. I cannot leave the home. A-and th-those shelters full of people sound like a t-terrible place"

"Would you mother want you to be scared and alive, or would she want you to be relaxed and dead?" Tonny yells over a clap of thunder. "If it'll get you out of here and keep you alive, you can use my room at the inn! Look, throw a blanket over your head if you must, but hurry up!"

Ingolf tried to reassure Amil, "It'll only be for a little while. As my friend says, I'm sure your mother wouldn't have wanted anything to happen to you. You have to carry on for her sake."
Adriana the Penitent
Adriana looks sympathetic and looks back to town, almost lost under the heavy rain with a careful look to the others she addresses Amil. "These are scary times, and we would not be so insistent if you weren't in danger. You will not be the only one facing fear and uncertainty."
Ignoring that she must look like she's been battered by the storm herself, Adrian carefully offers a hand to Amil. "You need only be brave for this moment. I can take you to safety, and when the storm is over I will bring you back, no questions."
GM Rutseg
The man seems well reassured by the party and accepts Tonny's solution, taking a blanket to cover himself from the open and furious sky "I-I will go with the w-woman" he accepts Adriana's hand, which makes him finally out of the flimsy house.
As you make your way towards the mainland another flash of lightning draws the contour of a figure in front of you. It is Mirya Oyin. Catching up with the woman you cross the island bridge and conduct both her and Amil to the Stone House.
Sheriff Adaela receives you at the doors, helping both citizens into the building. Amil refuses for a time to release Adriana's hand, but finally the Sheriff presses him in "HAVEN'T YOU FOUND MASO PARETO?!" the woman has to make an effort for her voice to be heard over the intensifying winds of the storm "HE IS NOT HERE! GO CHECK IF HE IS STILL AROUND THE COUNTINGHOUSE. HURRY UP THIS IS GETTING UGLY!!!"
Following the Sheriff instructions you head down the main road towards the Countinghouse of Abadar. You have to make increased efforts to maintain your stuff with you and not flying away, and the rain makes it difficult to see farther than 60 feet away.
At the midst of the downpour you spot the shadow of the countinghouse and a voice that shouts somewhere nearby to the west "Delour! Delour!!"

You do not see any pet around but you walk towards the voice through the sheet of rain to find a man dressed with a patched coat and having a red long beard soaked in water. The man is clearly looking for something "Have you seen Delour? I have taken the rest of my cats to the Countinhouse, but I cannot find Delour!"
The man is visibly concerned.
Ingolf
Ingolf said to the man, who he assumed was Maso, "Where would Delour go to hide? It's probably scared by the storm."
Adriana the Penitent
Immensely relieved that both Oyim and Amil came back to the shelter with them to safety, the worsening of the storm wore Adriana down morethan the battering she'd recieved from the troll. She wants to simply rest, but the sheriff's shouting that there was still one of their number missing made it clear what she had to do next.

The man, who might be Maso Pareto, speaks up through the noise of the storm "I do not know. He is particularly corpulent for a cat. He loves naps and hunting insects. And yes, he is probably pretty scared. I do not want to leave him outside with this storm. I need to be sure he is safe. But I have been looking for him already an hour"
A lightning bolt illuminates the environs and Adriana cannot see other than the shadows of the shacks around. She is pretty sure there is no trace of a cat or other animals in the immediate surroundings.
Ingolf
Ingolf wasn't sure how they would be able to find the cat in the time available, but he figured he should at least get some details. He replied to the man, "We will have to take shelter very soon. Where was the last place you saw the cat, and when was that? Can you give me an idea of where you searched?"
GM Rutseg
"I saw him having a nap in a cart near Heri’s Conservatorium" the man seems very worried "I have searched for him there already, but there is no trace of the cat. I have been looking for him in most of the mainland side of the colony. I must find him"
Carts, bags and other materials were used to construct palisades to protect the waterfront of Island Town and avoid the flood going into the buildings.
If you feel confused I will throw a couple of things you might want to attempt:
- Looking for the cat with Maso Pareto so he can go to shelter relieved
- Convince him to go to shelter while you look for the cat (or lie to him)
- Lie telling him you saw the cat safe
- Force him to ignore the cat and bring it by force (or menace) to the shelter
- Ignore the man and call the day done
- Etc.

Raising his voice to be heard, Ingolf suggested to Maso, "Since you've been checking the mainland mostly, let's look in Island Town. Maybe he went across the bridge and is hiding among the carts there."
