Hey crew, excited to be gothic fantasy superheroes with you all.
Figured I would put together a party overview to help us out. I split it between those who selected a monument and those who have not.
Have Monument
Dr Quinton Butler - human investigator - mapstone
Adegard “Aden” Underhill - halfling rogue - mistress of sngels
Grattfaulk - half-orc barbarian - the guardians
Lina Ashenval - human alchemist - battle of charda
Need Monument
Mr. Armiture - half-orc monk - ?
Attica Kastromo - elf swashbuckler - ?
Mr Armiture, maybe Cenotaph (power over life and death) or Indros cul Vydrarch (changing your physical form)? Thought both might fit your physical nature.
Attica, perhaps Fifth Wind (mastery of air) or Founder's Honor (control emotions)? Just a guess they might be useful for your character.
@Reckless, can people modify one or two spells, so long as the alternative fits their theme?

Thank you for the opportunity to get into this game! Working on finishing up Lina.
I was looking at how the archetype/dedication system works and interested in trading out one of my class abilities to go either rogue dedication or pathfinder agent dedication. Would I be able to take the pathfinder agent even though I am not from Absolom? Would the pathfinders exist in the nonmagical setting, and if so, in what state?

They probably would-being dedicated to exploring lost ruins, preserving history, and discovering old secrets wouldn't stop with loss of magic, but it would slow down quite a bit. It's unlikely the society would have much of a hold in Varisia therefore, but also very likely they would send agents given the preponderance of ancient ruins.
I'm ok with you taking the archetype.
