Right, this is brand new, so the format may change.
To make my life easier when it comes to filling in chronicles, if you could each put in a single post with:
Chronicle: What chronicle number this is for the character
History: What scenarios has the character completed? (or been credited with); any other chronicles (special boons etc)
Name:(the player) real name (as you have it appear on your chronicle sheets)
AKA: Character name
Faction: Your faction slotted
PFS: # for the character
XP: starting XP, Note if Slow track!
Fame: Starting Fame
Gold: Starting wealth you bring into the adventure. This should be the total on your previous chronicle. If you want to buy any new stuff... see further on.
Downtime include the roll or that you don't have one. If you want to use a reroll at the end just note here you may want to use a reroll. If you don't include a roll I'll be assuming you take ten. Add the actual gold amount if you want to save me looking it up...
Spend: If you want to buy anything before the scenario starts (apart from your initial 150gp if you are a new character) include it here. This will appear in the "items bought" and/or "items sold" part of the chronicle.
Try to hold off actual discussion here until we have one post per character with those details (makes life easy for me to make the chronicles for you all at the end).
Please add an Icon for your character to the map. If you don't know how, let me know and I'll help. Also dot into the gameplay thread, or just hang around and RP there if you like.

Greetings all, hello Chris, and hello again GM Aerondor, in a third playfield of rules!
Hoping to be part of an enjoyable game for all.
Chronicle: #1
History: None ; first adventure
Name: Eric Collins
AKA: Milady
Faction: Vigilant Seal
PFS: 101218-2001
XP: 0 (Normal Track)
Fame: 0
Gold: 24 sp & 4 cp
Downtime: Milady helps teach the Swords trainees
Warfare Lore, trained: 1d20 + 1 + 2 + 0 ⇒ (18) + 1 + 2 + 0 = 21
Which means 5 cp.
That is for the first day, and then I do not roll again, but simply multiply by the number of days (8 in this case).
For a total of 5x8=40 cp
4 sp earned if I got this right...
Spend: (probably not ; purchased equipment with initial funds)
your initial 150gp
Oh, wow! We got a raise to our signing bonus! Yay! xD

I think PFSv2 will start at 2001. I'm basing this off the chronicle sheet for "We be heroes" having a leading 2 in the character number field.

Not sure what/how to get a character number. Are we using the same PFS ID numbers and just incrementing it at 2000?
You register your character and you get a number.
At the very bottom of Organized Play you have a box to click [i]Register a New Pathfinder Society (2nd Edition) Character]/i]The first one I registered, got -2001.

I had the same question, since I noticed (but I imagine you did too, Aerondor, thus your post here?) that the Event Reporting Forms only have six slots.
GM Aerondor
|
There used to be an "Add a player" button. Or for hte region, I think I may have put it into the notes before. But I'm not sure if PFSv2 lets you have 7 or not.
| GM Wayfinder |
I meant the Event Reporting Form at the end of the .pdf of the adventure, the thing you can print.
It only has 6 lines for the Quest I am running - is it the same for this adventure?
In PFS 1, the scenarios with reporting forms (towards the end of the .pdf, just before chronicle sheets) had 7 slots/lines for PCs.
| Pirate Rob |
If seven players show up to an event, rather than turning someone away, the GM can consider adding a seventh person to the table. She should check with the players to determine their preferences before running a seven-person table, as sevenperson tables often overpower otherwise challenging adventures and limit the amount of time each player gets to shine in the given scenario.
Tables may not have eight or more players. If eight players show up to an event and there is more table space, see if one of the players can GM a game instead.
| GM Wayfinder |
@Pirate Rob: so that is part of the PFS2 Guide as well, something you've seen written? (or just what you imagine/know it should be since it's been like that for all the rest of PFS/SFS)

Hey Folks, I approached GM Aerondor and offer myself as a PC on a waiting list for this game as I wanted to play a game with Milady. As you probably are aware that Goblins likes to stick together.
The GM proposed that I could join as the 7th player. I know that you had a discussion if it is still possible and how to do it and I found that one other table is going with 7 players:
https://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75ivkj5/recruiting#9
And on that table play Hmm => which probably mean it is possible.
Given that the technicalities are solved, do you (I ask each and every PC that signed up here) mind me being 7th player on your quest for glory and fame?
I would bring Hopper and Lizzy to this game, who is an Alchemist mutagenist. It is my first PC in Pathfinder (both in edition 2 and 1) so there might be some changes that I need to apply to him, yet I find him enjoyable to play. If you don't mind me joining and my current GM finish the quest on time I would gladly augment your team by providing mind-blowing potions ;)

Milady looks around, pretending to not see the person talking.
I leave it up to the GM to do as he feels most comfortable with.
| Lizzy - Familiar |
In pbp it doesn't bother me. If anybody does object I'm happy to drop to keep friends together.
(I'm GMing this 4 times at a local upcoming con so I'll have no shortage of 1-01 credits to go around,
That is very nice of you, and Hopper is already plotting to kick you out, as he believes that the team does not need more longshanks yet Lizzy would not approve such a solution.
There will be more opportunities for us to play together so when I ask if someone has anything against (even tho I got a green light from GM) I am prepared for gracefully handling when someone says: 'I prefer to play in the team of 6'.
I prepared crying, screaming and calling people names => baby rage on full scale ;)
Anjo Aroh

Arrus, please stick around. I'm very eager to fight side by side and see how Precision compares to Flurry.
Also note you went with a 14 INT. I was very tempted to go that route (my PF1 Ranger has 14 INT). But as I am longterm looking at the composite longbow, I had to put that INT into Dex and STR.
Anjo Aroh

Interesting. Excited to see how often you can trigger.
Anjo Aroh
|
So far 0. Level 1 monsters are DC 15, meaning I basically need to nat 20. :(
And that's with a 14 INT, a stat not normally boosted for Rangers. Kind of makes you wonder what Paizo was thinking? Ironically I took MH as well. But mainly because I plan on taking Master Monster Hunter. So I'm essentially carrying it around as dead weight until then.
Now that I think about, it does give you a free RK. So as long as you Succeed, it's giving benefit.

I'm pretty happy with seven. I've not seen the scenario yet, but my understanding is that PFS2 has more fine tuned scaling for parties than PFS so a seven person party doesn't turn things into a cake-walk.
Just remember, this is my first time GMing PFS2, so expect mistakes.

So a side question related to downtime job:
You can continue working at the task on subsequent days
without needing to roll again. For each day you spend after
the first, you earn the same amount as the first day, up until
the task’s completion. The GM determines how long you can
work at the task. Most tasks last a week or two, though some
can take months or even years.
Do the rules indicate that when you fail to earn income roll you can roll again for the next day? As the rules say that you can work on the same thing without rolling again :| I don't know how to understand this
| Arrus Lionius |
OP guide says for earn income you roll for each 8 day block as a specific rule for Organized Play.
It gets a little weird if you have more than 8 days of downtime and use some of that for something other than earning income.

Yup. The Outwit hunt choice given an additional bonus, and crafting snares interacts with int/crafting etc.
Unfortunately, the +1 AC bonus from Outwit doesn't seem to stack with Monster Warden. Maybe Paizo will change that.

That's my understanding too, but I figured I'd token Lizzy in case you sent them to do things. Basically, my thinking is if you talk, you token.
Thank you, Zanderel the Dusty!
Ha! And I'm happy to do it. It keeps my compulsion for token consistency in check that way.

Yes... The official news:
Hey Everyone,
I have some unfortunate news. I regret to inform you all that we will have to postpone Gameday VIII by 2 weeks.
This would place our new dates for Gameday at: 09 Sept 2019 - 17 Nov 2019
WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
As most of you are aware, the majority of the GM’s (including me) have not received their scenario support for the Convention to include a good portion of the Specials. With Tonya occupied by other duties this weekend, we realized as a team that we are very unlikely to see the remainder of scenario support drop by Monday the 26th. Multiple avenues were discussed and what seems to be the best solution is to push Gameday back by two weeks. This will allow enough time for the GM’s to receive their scenarios and prep them.
BUT WHAT IF WE ALREADY HAVE OUR SCENARIOS, CAN WE START THEM?
Please hold off until the new start date to be able to eligible for your boon rewards. I understand this is a large inconvenience, we are doing everything we can to make this work. Part of that is to have everyone one the same start / end times rather than scattered.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, but we want all our GMs to have a chance to shine.
