Not liking the looks of the more recent developments, Runt attacks the hound behind her, figuring the others will take care of the one between her and Forest. Then she calls the Bralani over to take a place by her side (5' up in wind form, and attacking the rear houndtpp) after casting a litany of weakness on the Cyclops.

The good news is that order of operations works in your favor. The AoO triggers due to you starting the "stand from prone" action. That means you are still prone when the AoO hits, so it cannot trip you, because you are already prone. After the AoO resolves you complete your action and become not-prone.

Kizzy's heroic and jaunty tune rolls out over the group though the rain puts a little damper on it. Forest manages to roll to his feet. The hounds snaps at him but merely catches a plate of armor. Then Forest fires off an accurate slash that nearly takes the dogs head off. Likely, it would run if it could but it is trapped. Just inside the cave Runt and the Bralani pummel the other hound roughly after Runt drops a litany on the Ettin.

    Konrad and Z are up.

DM / GM / The man behind the curtain

Z, if you have an ability that lets you avoid the -4 for shooting into a melee, please let me know.

Zherxikas' scorching ray flies over the hound again as Zherxikas does his best not to hit Forest who seems to be trying to get hit by the flames. Again the scorching ray just misses Forest and he begins to wonder if Z is shooting at him or the hound. Konrad remains invisible waiting for the ettin to show his faces.

Konrad, if you are out there, please post. If I haven't heard from him shortly we will kind of log him off and he will pop off the server so to speak. When he makes it back I will pop him in.

The ettin moves slowly down the tunnel seemingly ignoring the vortex which is the bralani and lashing out at Runt with a large spiked club (morningstar). The narrow confines of the tunnel make it difficult for the beast and its club smashes into the cave wall as Runt steps back. The snarling hounds snap at Runt and Forest but cannot get through their defenses.
