Blessing of Ashava:
Ashava’s blessing has granted a temporary form of lycanthropy that is fully under your control. This has no influence on your character’s alignment, personality, or motivations unless you would like to make this a transformative experience for your character. The blessing has the following effects.

You can change shape. You have three forms—your typical form, a wolf form, and a hybrid form. You can shift to any of your three forms as a move action. If this PC has earned the Celestial Lycanthropy boon from #10–05: Mysteries Under Moonlight, Part 1, you gain that boon’s benefits for free for this entire scenario.

HYBRID FORM
If you shift to your hybrid form, you gain the following benefits.
Senses: Your senses sharpen, granting you darkvision (60 feet), low-light vision, and scent.
Defenses: You gain DR 5/silver and a +2 bonus to natural armor.
Attacks: You gain a bite attack that deals 1d6 points of damage if you are Medium or 1d4 if you are Small. If the bite attack hits, you can attempt a combat maneuver check to trip your target as a free action.
Pack Leader: You can communicate and empathize with wolves. You can use Diplomacy to alter a wolf’s attitude, and you gain a +4 racial bonus on the check when doing so.

WOLF FORM
If you shift to your wolf form, you gain all of the benefits listed for the hybrid form as well as the following two effects.
Speed: Your base speed increases to 50 feet.
Wolf Shape: All of the gear that you are carrying or wearing melds into your body until you switch to another form. All items that give constant bonuses still give their bonuses, except armor, which does not function. Unless you have other feats or class features that would allow you to do so, you cannot speak, cast spells, or manipulate objects that would require the use of hands.

Darkvision won't help against the fairies because they are actually hidden from sight. The only telltale sign are the sparkles falling off their wings when they fly.

Of course, Brak is about to delete one of these fairies

With a single swing, Brak destroys one of the fairies. He steps up to fight another but he swings through thin air.

Kavor helps zap one of the fairies.

The fairies redouble their efforts. With their magic spent and knives spent, they resort to their claws.

The black and green-winged fairies lie bleeding on the ground. There may be time to revive them.

Black is at -9 and Green is at -3 HP. You'll have to heal them, restrain them and then interrogate them with an Intimidation check (I'm sure Kord can do the honors there.)

A woman lies unconscious upon the stone slab. She is covered in various cuts and bruises, but her thin white cloak is still mostly still intact.

He stands tall over the helpless creature. "See, I don't have to kill you to have fun, but I can make certain that you never fly again."

"In case you're thinking that I'll just chop 'em of quick, you'd be mistaken. You may not be able to tell, but under all this fur, I have orc blood in me. A bestial race. A race that ...likes to get their hands dirty. Likes to feel bones break. Now, I have never torn wings off a fairy before, but I imagine doing it slow and taking my time would feel pretty good. Pull one taught. Rip. Tear. Not all of it, just a little. Fun for me. A nightmare for you."

"However, it is your lucky night. There is something I want more than hearing your blood-curling screams fill the moonlit night. I want to see again. My friend too. So, here is the deal, you give us our sight back, and you get to keep your wings."

He waits a moment, "So, what's it gonna be?"

The fairy wakes up and watches his Black winged ally bleed out. He notices Pimwrick's arrow and Kord's axe. He also sees Brak, the dwarf who knocked him out in the first place waiting for an excuse, any excuse to finish the job.

But then Kord gets his attention.

He fidgets, very uncomfortable as the half-orc describes how he'll tear his green wings apart, slowly. "T-Tulvatha will take your lives! You'll see!"

Back in round 1 the White and Green fairies readied actions to blind the first people to approach, but I didn't designate which fairy blinded who.Brak destroyed the White fairy to dead beyond dead.

Rather than unblind one of you randomly and figure out if you could buy a potion of Remove Blindness at Midnight, we'll just say both of you are no longer blinded.

Assuming you unbind him, the fairy waves his fingers. Kord and Pau can see yet again. The deal completed, the fairy tries to scurry away.
So, what to do with the surviving fairy?

The first step to using a scroll is being able to decipher the writing, which takes read magic or a CL 25 Spellcraft check, and Pim can't do either. But if Chadius is going to allow the fairy to dismiss both spells for the sake of enjoyment of play, I guess it's kind of moot. I sure wish I had thought to check on whether blindness was dismissable years ago when I played Midnight Mirror with my -1 character. Spent a lot of time blind...

As much as he hates for the nasty thing to go free, Pim does feel that Kord implied he'd set the fairy free. "All Kord said was that he'd get to keep his wings," he weighs in, "but it sounded to me like he didn't mean he'd kill him with his wings on. I agree with Kavor, we must free him, as he held up his end of the bargain and our friends can now see."

Moving us ahead.

A low howl echoes through the forest and into the evening wind. A moment later, it is answered by a chorus of other calls. Gleaming eyes shine from the bordering forest, as a pack of wolves begin to step forward, their haunches low and poised for attack. A deep, guttural growling resounds from within the burrow, and a moment later, a dark, canine figure emerges and snaps its jaws. Its fangs and black coat are matted with blood, and its eyes glow red.

Can any of you speak wolf? Celestial Werewolves do!

Wolf:
“You trespass upon my territory,” the black-furred creature says. “Your smell is foreign to me. It offends me to my core. With a pack of your size, I doubt you mean to join mine, which leaves me to believe you mean to usurp me. Or you are simply foolish enough to have wandered into the wrong place. Either way, we shall make an example of you.” As the beast bares its teeth and its hackles rise, a lone wolf leaps forward from the pack.

“Riverfang, can you not see they are the blessed of the Silver Dancer?” she warns. “An attack on them would bring the pack great misfortune. Surely you have not forgotten that.” The one called Riverfang snaps his head toward the wolf and growls at her. “Silence, Windcaller! With my return, I now lead this pack. Mind your words, or they may be your last.”

Windcaller raises her head and narrows her yellow eyes. “You come back to us tainted and foul! You’re a mere shadow of the leader you once were. We will not suffer under your tyranny a moment longer. I call for a Challenge of the Blood!”

Hushed murmurs pass through the rest of the pack as the wolves shift uncomfortably where they stand. “Think long and hard on this, kinsbound,” Riverfang growls to the other five wolves. “Casting such disrespect at the behest of this whelp will cost you greatly. The decision is yours. Careful what you choose.”

A single wolf runs up to you, bowing her head. She seemed to speak to the leader, but now she speaks to you directly. Hopefully you understand wolf.

Wolf:
“Blessed Ones of the Silver Dancer, please lend us your favor,” Windcaller says in a hushed voice. “Riverfang rose from the Long Hunt to lead again, but he came back with the stench of his grave still on him. He was once a great warrior and a good leader, but little of his heart remains inside that husk. I know my kinsbound wish to be free from him, but most are too scared to move against him. A Challenge of the Blood can be called when the pack no longer finds a leader fit to lead. It is resolved in one of two ways;.”

”Either the pack must stand united against the leader to exile him; or the leader must be challenged to a one-on-one duel to the death.” Windcaller bows her head and closes her eyes for a moment. “If I must fight Riverfang on my own, so be it. But I know my strength does not match his. It is my hope to convince the others to stand against him and cast him out. Would you help me persuade them?”

Windcaller asks for your help in overthrowing Riverfang. You can accept or refuse. If you refuse, how will you leave?
If you accept to help, you can attack Riverfang as a group or nominate one of you to challenge him in a 1 on 1 battle. Alternatively, you may try to convince the others to stand united with skill checks.

Brak bristles while the others converse.... "I volunteer as tribute. Look I know I'm no scholar. I'm no diplomat. I'm certainly no leader. We can play this however you all want, but I've got little to offer beyond blood and steel."

I'm good with whatever you guys want to do.

Brak, in some of these skill checks there is more than just Diplomacy. But even so, our party is not all that skillful while you are clearly good at what you do.
"Brak, while I could try to rally the wolves to Windcaller's side, I think you taking on Riverfang in the Challenge of the Blood in single combat is a more certain bet. Are you ready for battle?"
Meaning all healed up?

Pau agrees. Brak was certainly more powerful than the monk. Even an undead wolf would stand no chance against him, Pau figures.

"Why would we send one of us to fight Riverfang, when we could all work together against him?" Pimwrick asks. "Windcaller, you seem to have good intent here, is there a reason we cannot all join the fight to defeat this foul leader? Would the pack not accept your leadership if Riverfang were ousted this way?" As the party continues to discuss their plan, Pim focuses on Riverfang, attempting to probe his soul.

DM - I'd like to use Detect Evil on Riverfang. If you tend to play that ability that it's like casting a spell and could be seen as an offensive action, then I'll hold off on it.

Fellow Pathfinders - on the idea of a one-on-one fight - as strong as Brak is, I don't see why we wouldn't all fight Riverfang if that's an option.

Kavor Doan is frustrated. "They're wolves, Zephyr. Do you think they have an intellectual understanding of these matters? If you don't have faith in Brak's abilities as a warrior then let's try persuading the pack to follow Windcaller. I think it would be insulting Brak's prowess to cast Bull's Strength on him. He has magic plate armor and a magic greataxe, against a wolf's hide and jaws."
As a matter of honor, given that a single combat is proposed, Kavor Doan is strongly opposed to a gang attack or buffing Brak. He would rather try the skill checks in that case.

Pretty sure they are normal Int-2 wolves, but I guess that's a Knowledge (Nature) check.

Windcaller listens to all of you argue and discuss. "We do believe in single combat. You cannot help your champion in any way. I don't... magic? Do you mean Ashava's blessings?" She seems a bit confused.

"If you were all to attack, Riverfang has the right to call the pack to defend himself. I would take the survivors and form a new pack, of course." You can sense the regret in her voice.

Pimwrick spends some time concentrating on Riverfang and finds his heart is full of evil. There is something malevolent and unnatural about him. Perhaps Tulvatha corrupted him the same way the fairies were corrupt?

Knowledge(Religion) DC 13:
The stench of undeath is strong on Riverfang. You know a Vukodlak when you see one. Its glowing red eyes can paralyze those who look upon it.

"Like Windcaller said, Riverfang has returned from the grave to everyone's chagrin. He can paralyze victims with a look. Still a fair fight? Perhaps. But we could also drive away his allies, simple wolves that they are. It could be less risky."

Kavor Doan switches to Common.
"Its magical abilities do change things a bit. But since Riverfang is still the leader of the pack, if we were to attack him as a group we'd have to kill many wolves who are only following their leader.
I do not believe that any who follow him are his 'allies' as we understand the term. He is their leader. They are the pack. They are simple animals. Until there is a new leader, that is all there is to it.
So if we could convince them to follow Windcaller and cast him out, without attacking him, we would spare these creatures.
Zephyr, is that paralysis an effect of fear? If so, why not have Kord face the beast in single combat? Kord, if you accept, know that I will not help you in any way, nor even stabilize you - the combat is to the death - but I will use my resources to see you returned to life should you happen to fall. Though I doubt you will."

Kord is immune to fear, and has Smite Evil, and it's an evil undead.
"Otherwise, I am happy to try persuading the pack."
My first choice is true single combat by champion. If nobody is willing to do that, my second choice is trying to persuade the other wolves. Kavor Doan will not take part in a group attack on Riverfang as he deems it dishonorable and against the wishes of the ones we are allegedly trying to help.

Zephyr knows Riverfang's terrifying gaze is a mind-affecting fear effect, so paladins like Kord and Pimwrick would simply ignore it.

Kavor and Pau wish to fight in single combat, with Brak as their champion.
Pimwrick and Kord want a group fight.
Did I get that right? Brak, you should probably be the tiebreaker here, since you're getting nominated to fight.

I would favor Brak or Kord as the champion.
If neither wants to, then I would say persuade.
If the group does not want to persuade, then Kavor Doan offers himself as the champion.
