Knowledge (dungeoneering), Inspiration: 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 6 + (5) = 16
Tulvatha? Some kind of powerful will-o'-wisp? Hmm...
"Mother Moon will show us the way. If our path leads us through the darkness, I can provide dancing lights to enlighten us."
"Luvyire, when Tulvatha attacked you and your friends, what means did she employ? And do you believe Tulvatha desecrated the Glade of Silver Sparks? We might need to reconsecrate the holy site."

GM chadius |

Luviyre tries to answer your questions. "Tulvatha used the powers of thunder and fear against us. Many of our magic attacks did not work on her. By the time we realized this, it was too late. My friends had already fallen."
Gitano knows Will-'o-wisps are capable of turning invisible, and they can electrocute their victims. He also knows they resist all of sorts of magic, but he's not sure on the specifics.
"While Ashava will always look over you with her blessing, it will be strongest tonight. I doubt you'll have another chance to experience its effects, unless you happen to be near the glade during the next full moon." He bows to Noke.
Heidmarch bids Ashava to sit, and passes him some of the mackerel. He sits back down, frowns at the dead fish, and keeps his hands to himself, far away from the immaculate silverware. Sheila sighs. "In terms of animals, expect wolves, frogs and spiders. Nothing too out of the ordinary."
"The glade is deep within the Mushfens. But with Ashava's blessing, you should have no trouble finding it, yes?"She turns to Luvyire, who nods in agreement.
If no one has any other questions, I'll get us moving on later today.

![]() |

"When the time comes Iomedae will protect us from lightning, just stay together so I can deliver it to everyone before you rush off for battle." Mass resist energy
Hanlin pushes his plate away, fully sated with the wild feast, minus the mackerel Those are far better smoked or grilled. Too greasy when they're baked like that. "I'm under the assumption that this blessing won't interfere with our normal capabilities? I'll still be able to wield a sword and call upon the blessings of my Goddess?"

![]() |

"Anybody have a way to deal with an enemy like a will-o'-wisp that can become invisible?"

![]() |

Hanlin shakes his head sadly "Alas not this night. Normally I could pray for that in the morning, but.. I didn't know. Maybe I could convince our lovely host to part with some scrolls for past services rendered?" He waggles his eyebrows in Shiela's direction.
While it isn't perfect, a 5x scroll of invisibility purge could help. Also faery fire if someone can cast that.

![]() |

"I have heard of magical golden dust that can be thrown by mages to reveal the invisible, but I am not sure anyone here can cast such a spell," Serge looks at the others.

![]() |

"Cap'n, if you don't have any scrolls, do you have a wand of faerie fire in stock?" Gitano asks Sheila. "I'm no druid, but I might be able to get it to work."
(UMD +8; 2PP available to purchase it, if Hanlin can't get a scroll.)

![]() |

Sadly, I looked at Ginko's spell list, and he does not have See Invis, Glitterdust, or Invisibility Purge! I did prepare See Beyond, though, which can get him up to a buffed +31 perception vs invisible things. His buffed UMD is only +11 buffed, but he can UMD something if necessary

![]() |

"Excellent! Put it on my tab!" He snags a glass of water and raises it in a faux toast, laughing.
Yup, 5x scroll of invisibility purge for 2PP please. A useful scroll to have in your pocket anyhow.

GM chadius |

Hanlin makes his purchases and the Pathfinders wait until the evening to begin their mission. "By Ashava, have a good hunt." Luvyire bows as you leave and aim for the Mushfens.
You can retroactively make any purchases now.
Moonlight streams through the forest’s thick canopy of dark branches. The chirps and gurgles of nocturnal critters echo in a soft, steady hum, interrupted only by the occasional snapping of a twig or low hoot of an owl. In the distance, fireflies flicker in the shadows. The scent of wet moss and dirt clings to the misty air. Several damp paths branch off, each leading deeper into the swampy woods.
The full moon emerges from the clouds. As the twilight washes over you, your skin erupts into silver fur, your fingers grow sharp claws and your mouth grows into an elongated snout. Your senses are sharper than ever, and you are ready to crush the forces of evil.
You are a celestial werewolf. It is a glorious night to hunt!
Anyone who accepted the Celestial Lycanthropy boon is now a Celestial Werewolf. You can see slide 3 for the details. I will also post it here and add it to the campaign information on top of this thread.
You can change shape. You have three forms—your typical form, a wolf form, and a hybrid form. You can shift to any of your three forms as a move action. If this PC has earned the Celestial Lycanthropy boon from #10–05: Mysteries Under Moonlight, Part 1, you gain that boon’s benefits for free for this entire scenario.
HYBRID FORM
If you shift to your hybrid form, you gain the following benefits.
Senses: Your senses sharpen, granting you darkvision (60 feet), low-light vision, and scent.
Defenses: You gain DR 5/silver and a +2 bonus to natural armor.
Attacks: You gain a bite attack that deals 1d6 points of damage if you are Medium or 1d4 if you are Small. If the bite attack hits, you can attempt a combat maneuver check to trip your target as a free action.
Pack Leader: You can communicate and empathize with wolves. You can use Diplomacy to alter a wolf’s attitude, and you gain a +4 racial bonus on the check when doing so.
WOLF FORM
If you shift to your wolf form, you gain all of the benefits listed for the hybrid form as well as the following two effects.
Speed: Your base speed increases to 50 feet.
Wolf Shape: All of the gear that you are carrying or wearing melds into your body until you switch to another form. All items that give constant bonuses still give their bonuses, except armor, which does not function. Unless you have other feats or class features that would allow you to do so, you cannot speak, cast spells, or manipulate objects that would require the use of hands.

Noke transforms into her hybrid wolf form and starts giggling.
”Oh this so funny! I am the first Wayang werewolf for sure!“

![]() |

Gitano revels in his hybrid wolf form, his vision sharpening in the twilight, peering into the shadows, and his sensitive nose revealing a host of scents unfamiliar and picking up new, subtle nuances of scents more familiar.
The bravo runs his tongue over his elongated, sharpened canines, longing to sink them into a fresh kill and bring it home to his pack.
He tosses back his head and looses an extended howl of exhilaration. Need to find a beta wolf and kick his arse!

![]() |

Hanlin takes the time to transform between the two forms numerous times before they head off "Wow, no offense, but you all STINK!" He half grunts and half growls as he switches to wolf form for the trek. Sure would be nice to run into some real wolves, grow us a little pack here for the hunt!
He lopes along, stopping to pee on every rock, root, and tree he comes across. Now I totally understand Brutus!

GM chadius |

You enjoy your new forms and head deeper into the Mushfens.
A sharp breeze cuts through the night, rustling loudly through the trees and brambles. Shadowy figures emerge from the undergrowth. The husky voice of the tallest figure calls out, “Halt where you are, monsters!”
“I knew there was darkness inside you, Pathfinders,” the man continues, his gaze a steely fire of determination and fury. “Does the rest of the Pathfinder Society even know what foul beasts walk among them, or do they know and harbor you nonetheless? Maybe it’s even worse than that, hmm? Perhaps this paltry cabal of you represents the true face of the entire organization. Be assured that I shall find out. But for now, I see the truth of your malignant nature, and the ruse ends here—along with your lives!”
Investigator Theodorus Ichonvarde has hunted you down- but who is the hunter, and who is the prey?

Serge runs his tongue along his new wolf teeth. He stares at his arms and at the mottled fur peeking through the breaks in his armor. But as he's concerned about taking on the strange form, his guard is dropped, and the guard slinks his sword in.
"What a cowardly attack," he glowers, looking at Theodorus. "Theodorus, drop your weapons, and end this meaningless fight. We have received a blessing in order to properly aid the Society, and this form is temporary."
The paladin turns on one of the guards, holding his greatsword in both hairy hands and striking with the flat side.
