Jasmine is out at the moment you'd of needed to search for her and eat up valuable time checking out other places.

For Yaz dropping that is a bit of a problem but you could say he is being escorted out secretly

Those heading to Graden’s

A sign in front of this simple building bears the name “Graden’s.”
Shovels, mattocks, and pickaxes lean against the front wall along a
covered stoop. Shelves full of more tools and gear are clearly visible
through the front windows.

Then we'll wait until she returns.

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Digging tools... probably for planting and farming... if we had longer might be useful for tunneling under the wall... or through it. If only. Valessa shakes her head as the annoyance at having so little time between their insertion into the town and the General besieging it. Forcing the thoughts down, she opens the door and holds it open for Daniel. Once he walks through, she follows.

M Elf U. Rog 1, Evok 4, AT 1 HP 44/44 | AC: 22/18 T: 14 F: 15 |CMB: 3 CMD: 17 | F +4 R +5 W +5 | Init +5 | Perc: +11|

The site will be down tomorrow. FWIW, I still want to play.

Male Human Paladin 9| AC 24 T 12 FF 23 | HP 83/83 | F +12 R +8 W +10; Immune: Diseases, Fear, Charms | Init +1| Perc +13

Daniel walks through the door and takes a look around looking for sprig of holly and the shop keeper.

Jasmine's Return time: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 trips.
Rand: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Rand: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Rand: 1d20 ⇒ 7

Graden’s
The place seems like a General store with a stock of various items.

With a man tending the store and his wife giving him orders to stock items in a specific way.

DeadMan's Well
The Watchers are watching Lefty and Tobar.
Warning for those waiting on Jasmine's return to Deadman's well, it'll be a good while.
Also might draw the Baron's attention where you don't want it looked at.

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Valessa smiles at the man sympathetically and proceeds to look around the shop.

Is there a spy/guard visible in here like there was at the blacksmith?

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

We'll go back to our rooms and make ourselves scarce.

Lefty will look for Jasmine when she's at work.

@Valessa

No guards or other personnel from the keep you can see

@those in Deadman's Well (Lefy and Tobar)
Jasmine will not be back until later in the evening(20:00), and it is about lunch time(12:00).
Do you wish to still wait for a NPC that might have info or could even be a poison pill waiting to go off?
Remember your also on the clock, cause tomorrow starts the arrests and one might be a important NPC that didn't get visited and you have less then 3 days to get in before it gets near impossible to get into the keep sneakily.

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Any signs that this place has any reason for us to stay? Sprig of mistletoe, hints in the conversation, something visible as being important to our mission?

Nope

The couple start noticing Valessa and approach asking if there is anything your looking for.

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Valessa shakes her head. "No no, I am just browsing I suppose. Never been much of a farmer or miner for that matter. Maybe one day I might be. My friend, however, might have a better idea of what we are looking at or for." She smiles and indicates Daniel.

"Cannot say I expected to find such a store in a small community like this though. If you don't mind my asking, how is business?"

Female (ex Male) Succubus (ex Human (Varisian)) L3 Succubus/L3 Hinterlander

To Lefy
"Absolutely no reason to stick around right now. Maybe we should check in the others, see if they're having any more luck"

We seem to be floundering right now without the semblance of a plan. Lets get together and see if we can come up with any idea how to proceed

"I wanna check out the dogs. Shenk's place is very close to the keep. And does anyone know who that Almir is with that big fancy place?"

Zero walks to the dogyard checking whether this are all dangerous guard dogs or some puppies as well.

M Elf U. Rog 1, Evok 4, AT 1 HP 44/44 | AC: 22/18 T: 14 F: 15 |CMB: 3 CMD: 17 | F +4 R +5 W +5 | Init +5 | Perc: +11|

Yeah, I don't know what to do.

Male Human Paladin 9| AC 24 T 12 FF 23 | HP 83/83 | F +12 R +8 W +10; Immune: Diseases, Fear, Charms | Init +1| Perc +13

Dainiel looks at the wares and says, "I believe I am fully stocked on what I would by here for now. I know where to come now. Do you happen to know where healing potions might be purchased?"

Jeb Graden:

Graden’s

Jeb replies to Valessa with a unnerving smile
"Well business is doing great, with the rule of supply and demand and all."

Jeb replies to Dainiel with a unnerving smile
"Oh I don't think you want Viaren's stuff, the little I have left is better then what she has left."

@Tobar and Lefty:
Find out all you can in town by visiting places on the map, and checking over what each has for info and who they align to, and if something needs to be done there.

As you get out of your rooms to chat you see a fellow tripping like a fool due to is oversized cape as he leaves Deadman's Well.

@Zero
I'll assume you heard Almir's name and where he lives, since he likes keeping to himself.

Crouched in the shadows of the tall northern wall of the keep
proper, a humble shack occupies one corner of an open yard
surrounded by a crooked iron fence. A row of doghouses lines the
western side of the yard, while kennels occupy the space along the
fence opposite them. Several mastiffs wearing spiked iron collars
roam the yard, masters of their small patch of land, while younger
ones pace back and forth within the confines of the kennels. A sign
fastened to the gate in the southern portion of the fence reads,
“Shenk’s Dog Yard.”

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

Valessa smiles back to the man. "Glad to hear that. Well, I don't want to take up too much of your time." She begins to head to the door but does not leave yet, looking at Daniel to see if he is ready to keep walking.

Zero approaches the fence and watches the dogs. As if browsing shops she looks around for someone responsible nearby.

Tweiford Shenk:

wiry man with a heavy lantern jaw and dark, close-cropped
hair approaches Zero and asks

"Anything I can help you out with miss>"

@Valessa
You sense his thought's on more profit.

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Valessa just gives the man a smirk. "Well, I will let you get to it." Turning to Daniel, "Catch up with me when you are done here. I will be across the street."

Setting out of the shop, she heads across the street to the larger shop. 7 on the map.

Male Human Paladin 9| AC 24 T 12 FF 23 | HP 83/83 | F +12 R +8 W +10; Immune: Diseases, Fear, Charms | Init +1| Perc +13

"Thank you for your time sir!" Daniel says as he follows Valessa out of the shop.

@Valessa and Daniel

Approaching the Forest Bounty
A sign over the open doors of this building depicts a satyr holding a
cornucopia spilling fruits and vegetables. Rows of bins and shelves
within are filled with a variety of food items, from produce to
pickled pigs’ feet and kegs of ale and wine.

Entering you see it is run by a family of cherrful halflings.

Mr Tucket greets and asks what he can help you with.

Male Human Paladin 9| AC 24 T 12 FF 23 | HP 83/83 | F +12 R +8 W +10; Immune: Diseases, Fear, Charms | Init +1| Perc +13

Daniel looks at the foods and says "What a grand display of nature's bounty! What would you recommend that will keep well while on the road good sir?"

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Valessa smiles at what appears to be the only bunch of cheerful people in town.

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

"Perhaps you can help settle a dispute. My friend here says that mistletoe makes a good preservative for wild birds... some nonsense about placing it in the bags you store them in on your travels ensuring it lasts for weeks longer than it would normally. I, however, am unconvinced. What is your opinion on the use of the plant for preservation?"

Mr Tucket:

Mr Tucket replies to Daniel
"Max sealed cheese, salted meats and dried out fruits would be good for the road, but with the town's front gates locked due to the seige you won't be hitting the road anytime soon."

Mr Tucket replies to Valessa
"I've not heard of that before so I can't say, I could try it after this siege is over."

@Valessa you don't see any mistletoe, and he seems neutral

"Anything I can help you out with miss>"

"Oh hi. You know, I love dogs. What are they for? I mean, you're not holding them as pets obviously."

She wonders what a dog would cost.
Appraise, dog value: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

side question: was one of the buildings I passed a bakery?

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Valessa nods, thoughtfully. "I see... well, that is alright. I might be able to try the experiment myself around then. I will be happy to share with you the results... better than you risking something you need to sell, right?" She smiles warmly at the halfling.

Is there a guard in here or is it just us and the halfling family?

Tweiford Shenk:

Tweiford replies to Zero
"Oh these are ones are being trained as guard dogs."

about 35 gold, and food places are at centre of town.

Mr Tucket:

Mr Tucket replies to Valessa
"That is very true, I just hope there is enough here."

Just you and the Halfling family, guards generally are only at important places for the Militry; smith, alchemist, etc

Tobar wanders into The First Light

Male Human Paladin 9| AC 24 T 12 FF 23 | HP 83/83 | F +12 R +8 W +10; Immune: Diseases, Fear, Charms | Init +1| Perc +13

Daniel smiles at the halfling, "That is true good sir. I'll take some of your best fresh berries, a gold worth and 5 gold worth of the road worthy food. While we may not be going anywhere, I'm optimistic that we'll be able to go at some point."

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28

@Tweiford Shenk
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
She watches the man carefully.
"Uh. And what do they usually guard? They look very well trained and quite fierce."

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Valessa nods. "That is a valid concern. Might I suggest that you... reserve... some of the more non-perishable items for later? If the siege goes on for a while you will be glad that you did. And if not, my companions and I would be more than happy to purchase them when we are free to leave once more."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

She gives the halfling what she hopes is a convincing smile - I cannot wait for my face to be visible again and this pantomime of emotions to be hidden once more - and pulls out 5 gold pieces.

"Consider this to be a down payment in that regard. If they are needed by the townsfolk between now and then, so be it."

@ Tobar
A tall, angular building of white marble stands atop this lonely
spot of ground. A steeple topped by a timeworn statue is the
makeshift aerie for more than a dozen pigeons, their droppings
covering the face and shoulders of an effigy that has obviously
faded out of importance for the people of Piren’s Bluff. Wood
and brass doors under the shadows of the steeple stand open,
revealing a clean but empty nave.

The temple nave is a sad, empty place. Its wooden
benches, marble pillars, and a statue that
stands atop a marble plinth opposite the doors are kept
clean by an elf

Knowledge (religion)

Mr Tucket:

Mr Tucket replies to Daniel
"5 gold that is a good amount of what is left, and if the siege goes on long enough a piece food could be worth a gold coin in and of itself."

@Daniel you can sense the Halfling could now be more worried about food reserves in the place

about 3 silver feeds you for a day, 6 gold is like buying 20 days of food.

Mr Tucket replies to Valessa
"Then hope your strong, and that this place don't get raided before you pick it up, cause when things get bad, people go nuts."

Tweiford Shenk:

Tweiford replies to Zero
"Well that is for their new owner to decide, some want a dag to protect someone, some what a dog to protect what they hold."

Tweiford is is neutral to the whole Baron issue.

Male Human Paladin 9| AC 24 T 12 FF 23 | HP 83/83 | F +12 R +8 W +10; Immune: Diseases, Fear, Charms | Init +1| Perc +13

Daniel pauses for a moment and the says "I don't want to be greedy. Why don't you make it 9 silver worth and I'll leave some for the residents."

"Thank you, Mr. Shenk. It was nice talking to you, but I gotta hurry."

Zero strolls towards the town center and looks for a bakery.

Not feeling very optimistic, Tobar will still very thoroughly search the place in case he finds something of interest.

If allowed, would take 20 on perception for a 33. If not allowed
perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18

As part of that search, he'd scan the entire place with detect magic

Mr Tucket:

Mr Tucket replies to Daniel
"Well that is a reasonable amount a few days should be long enough, ....
I hope."

@Zero
Forest Bounty where Daniel and Valessa are has bread.

@Tobar
You find nothing of importance, and hear the mumbling of the elven cleric as he scrubs the nave of dirty and grim.

The old elven cleric his good, but without magic, can figure it out with that Know Religion roll.

Female (ex Male) Succubus (ex Human (Varisian)) L3 Succubus/L3 Hinterlander

"Thank you kind sir. Good luck!" He then turns and says shall we "Shall we head down the road?" (building 12)

Female Human Fighter (3) / Stalwart Defender (3) | AC 27 T 23 F 14 | HP 56/56 | F +7 R +4 W +4 | Init +2 | Perc +10

Valessa leans in close to the halfling. "I don't expect to be able to. If things get bad, use the provisions that would buy to help keep the more desperate from starvation or theft. They can pay me back after the troubles have passed the next time I am in town."

Giving the man a smile and a wave, she follows Daniel to the next building.

"So this place certainly is... charming." She says to him as they walk.

@Zero
Forest Bounty where Daniel and Valessa are has bread.

@Tobar
The Old cleric is a cleric of Aroden and the two statues are of Aroden.
And since Aroden is now a dead deity, the old cleric is a priest without a live god and thus no divine magic or power.

@Daniel
going to the pact hall, hope you took some of Pip's advice/warnings

@Daniel and Valessa
Mr Tucket thanks for for you partonage.

you then walk to the Pact Hall.

The entrance to this stone building is flanked by identical brass
statues depicting a handsome man with small horns on his head
and his arms crossed in front of him. The tall iron doors are marked
with faintly glowing pentagrams.
