Description:

Before the Curse

Tobar was a blond haired reasonably attractive young man of 23. He was 6'2" tall, trim and fit. While strong he carried himself well and was not over muscled. Always aware of his surroundings he was graceful in all of his movements

He tended to dress in utilitarian clothing in earth colours, even his armour was non descript. His buckler DOES bear the symbol of Erastil

He was a kind man although somewhat self effacing. A fervent worshiper of Erastil he definitely did NOT attempt to prosletyze others nor was he holier than though. He quietly fulfilled his duties in the Company while always being true to his god.
After the Curse

In her native form, she is a gorgeous black haired devil with impressive red furled wings clearly visible.

She is now very much aware of how beautiful she is and how easily she can fool others.

She will generally change shape when around civilians and even around members of the company. In combat, she is quite aware of the advantages her natural form gives her and almost always fights as the Succubus that she now is

History:

Tobar was born in a small village in Varisia. Although his parents worshipped Desna and he still respects Desna he came to follow the worship of Erastil instead, eventually becoming a devout cleric of Old Deadeye. He tried very, very hard (and mostly succeeded) to follow the even stricter rules obeyed by the Paladins of Erastil.

From a combination of a desire to see the world, to help others, to have some adventures, and to raise enough money so that he could marry his child hood sweetheart, buy some land somewhere in the Hinterlands between Korvosa and Magnimar in Varisia he decided to join The Wild Wolves.

When he joined them he was very careful to specify that he would only work on contracts that were compatible with his ethics. He greatly preferred those contracts that found the Wolves defending remote areas from monsters. But any contracts that involved the destruction of evil forces were fine with him.

He found a home in the Wolves. He was valued for his archery, for his clerical support and for his healing skill. Almost as importantly, he was always someone who chose to lead by example and not by preaching at others. While always extremely happy to bring others to the faith he had no difficulty with working with many others of different philosophies.

Although he was liked by all he only made one really close friend in the Legion, Sorina. Sorina is a Varisian woman who is also an archer, arguably the best archer in the Legion. While many Legionaires just assumed that they were lovers their relationship never went in that direction and Tobar always thought of Sorina as his older sister.

And then the Curse struck.

The Curse:

The Curse has changed Tobar in a great many ways.

First and foremost, it has greatly affected her relationship with Erastil. She lost a great deal of his divine abilities but not all of them. She can still cast divine spells, although now Erastil does not respond to her requests but always gives her the same set of spells every day. And while before he could only cast those spells he had memorized, now she can cast whichever spells she wants from that smaller list.

And some of her other divine powers remain and have even grown [Powers from the Hinterlander class. Also, I'm basically assuming that she has gone up a level or so since The Change)]

She tries to convince herself that her spells and powers still come from Erastil. But, in all honesty, she isn't certain. Why would Erastil take some of her powers? Why would things be so different now compared to the way they were before?

She is upset (to put it mildly) not only by the fact that she is female but by the new stirrings that she has. Before the change he had no difficulty remaining steadfast and true to his sweetheart, to the woman he intended to marry and have a family with.

But after the change she finds it much, much harder to control herself. She now finds herself sexually attracted to people of both sexes and cannot always manage to control herself (or himself. He often changes shape into a different sex).

So far she HAS managed to avoid the greatest sins. She has never knowingly had sex with a married man or woman. She has managed to maintain the sanctity of marriage to that extent.

But she now frequently has consensual sex with men and women of diverse species.

And she has found an unexpected pleasure in her now great ability to deceive others. She has to constantly fight the temptation to lie for its own sake and happily lies to advance the mission.

And she can't help but notice that she has improved in nearly every way, physically and mentally, since the Curse.

If she is asked, she will loudly proclaim that she would make nearly any effort to remove The Curse, to again become a normal human. And she actually mostly believes that. But in the depths of her heart she really isn't as sure as she proclaims. There is a lot in this new life that she actually loves. The new found power over others is seductive and she has been at least partially seduced.

She still tries very hard to follow the Paladin Code of Erastil and to act as Erastil would like. But what was once almost an instinctive knowledge of how to behave has now become an almost daily struggle of will vs inclination. She still KNOWS what she should do but so often does not WANT to do it, at least not completely.

She has so far managed to stop herself from making any sexual advances on Sorina. But only by using all the willpower at her commmand. She is intensely attracted to her.

In game terms, she used to be firmly LG. She is now NG and dangerously close to both the Chaotic and Neutral ends of those spectrums.
