Having dealt a sound strike, Mason swings his shield off his back and dons it, now safely out of the tipsy saddle.

Thanks for botting! Mason dons his shield as a move action. Because he would have two handed that hit, it would have done 5 more damage. He two-hands so rarely it isn't in the tactics.

Bodyguard:

Lilybeth identifies the bone carving as a tupilaq, an animated scrimshaw carving. As a construct it has standard construct immunities to mental effects, and the hard whalebone it's made of gives it DR10/bludgeoning. They usually have a magical spell within the runes and carvings that adorn its body, which it can use a few times per day. Its jaws are incredibly strong (as Lilybeth's leg can attest) but it can also attack with its claws. They are often created to seek out and destroy a single individual, but once this task is accomplished the tupliaq can lay dormant for years or centuries until it selects (or is given) a new target.

And yes, will add the extra damage, mason - forgot your default is a one-handed attack.

If Loxx can reach it, he will attempt to smash the thing instead of attacking the undead in front of him.

Loxx enlarges and rages, but as he does it stirs up some of the black dust which lies around the trench to his south. Fort save: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28 It doesn't seem to affect him in any way. He then smashes at the tupilaq attached to Lilybeth's leg. The first and last attack hit, and appear to do full damage to the construct. (16+13=29 bludgeoning damage)

The red blackfrost mummy does nothing, held by Bertha's necromantic shackles.

The orange mummy moves through another pile of the black dust, kicking up clouds with its feet. As the alien powder hangs in the air and coats the undead, it seems to draw vigor from the substance, and charges Loxx at high speed!

As Yellow is currently blind, it will probably wipe the ink from its eyes and kick up some of that necrotic dust. Anyway, I think it won't have much effect on the actions of LifeLover, Sickly and Bertha, so my suggestion is for those to post their intended actions for this round as they are immediately after Yellow. If things radically change and those actions become invalid you might have to declare new ones, but if they don't we can save some time.

Blackfrost poison usually has an onset time of 1 minute... so likely we won't see any effects for a few more rounds.

"Leave her alone!" Sickly yells... though volume-wise, its little better than a normal speaking voice... but much louder than his usual voice.

It's hard to see his face under the beard and medical mask and frost and ice buildup... but the skin that's visible is red and blotchy.

He slogs through the deep snow, to get closer to the creature attacking the barricade and Svala, and tries to hammer it back into the ice from which it came.

I move a little closer to the action and check out what is going on in the pit.
"Suppose I shouldn't have set fire to the tent. Sorry, let me put that out real quick."

I cast Pyrotechnics to cause a fireworks display and extinguish the entire fire. As the fireworks go off, everyone (within 120', so everyone) is blinded for rounds: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 DC18 Will negates.

Will Save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 "Dang it, I hate when spells backfire. I'm not sure I'm helping here."

Always liked this spell for this very use! The Area can be a bit of a downside, true. =)

Sickly gives a small cry of surprise as the fires on the tent, only a few paces away, suddenly go out, and a tremendous light show brightens the sky.

Will save, rage: 1d20 + 7 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 5 + 2 = 19 (Yay, saved by the +2 to will for raging!)

Luckily, he has encased himself in so many layers of winter clothing, that the the bright lights can't so easily reach his sensitive eyes, which are already watering and blinking continuously.

If ceustodaemon have SR it needs to bypass that. Not sure if they do though.
Then again, not sure how you got the ceustodaemon in the first place.

No SR AFAIK, but the creature has telepathy and blindfight, so it's easy to tell it where the opponent is and 75% chance a hit will indeed hit.

Can I make some knowledge rolls on the blackfrost and/or the symbol to determine what the effects of wind and/or fire would be?

Round 3

Lifelover turns the flaming tents into a pyrotechnics display, accidentally blinding herself in the process. 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 rounds Sickly, Lilybeth, Inkwell, Loxx, and mason manage to withstand the effect.

SR: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 - the ceustodaemon is unaffected

Rolling everyone else's save now, so hey know what to expect on their actions.

"It's destroyed." Sickly says as Svala suddenly loses her sight. "The undead, that is."

"And the fire is out." He adds.

He glances back at Bertha, and asks. "How long are those two going to be held?"

How long are those two going to be paralyzed... am a little concerned if I move away, and they wake up. Is a lot easier going down a hole than up one =)

We've already rolled against blackfrost, I think? But it won't be destroyed by wind or fire, just raised into a cloud perhaps. The ice rune is made of regular ice, a few inches thick, so Hardness 0, 10 hp, vulnerable to fire damage. And yes, the ceustodaemon is blind because it doesn't have spell resistance.

Sovereign Court

NG Dwarf Barbarian 9 / Fighter 1

Please, don't melt the ice more! No fire in the pit! We need to cover it, not expose more of it!

We have about 30 seconds to decide what we want to do with those two...Now, who has that wand? didn't that big giant thing say there were like 500 of these things buried in there should we start to repair the rune before more come out?

Bertha then looks at the undead creature to the south (orange) and casts boneshaker on it, using 3 blood points instead of a spell slot.

DC 18 fort save or I will force it to move up to the deamon, provoking AoO from loxx, Masson & the deamon

Round 3 (continued)

Bertha casts her spell, but the creature resists. Fort save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Kuokei flutters to the ground, unable to see, calling out worriedly in a shrill voice.

Blue continues to attack Loxx blindly.

Loxx takes enough damage after subtracting DR that he sinks to his knees and then collapses.

Svala fumbles blindly for a wand at her belt and activates it, healing some of her wounds. 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 2) + 3 = 12
