Nahko's greatest struggle with these series of puzzles is only that they are now falling faster and faster before the Pathfinder hands. Pavo and Khargrom continue to find success as their tools run along the triggers of the prison. The teachings of Torag still hold more guidance for Bemmer as he solves puzzles. Agon has a burst of inspiration as he begins to understand the core mechanisms of this lair and Ironshanks has unmatched success as he begins to see the proper panels to press highlighted before him.

The layer is being shed at and extraordinary rate as other Pathfinders have equal success tearing through the shrinking sphere. The elemental energy within radiates outwards restoring you and recharging you in thanks for your aid thus far.

A great crack interrupts the Master of Spell’s musings, as an immense three-eyed giant with skin like hewn stone steps through a tear in space, with an army pouring out past her. The giant bellows so that all can hear. “I acknowledge your strength, little ones, for you have angered my benefactor enough to send me. I and my warriors, the Daemon Prayers, honor it with unyielding death. Seize the Vault! Slay them all!”

Sorrina Westyr urgently pipes in. “We just need a few more minutes to secure our prize and escape. Hold them off as long as you can!”

Your attacks land well as they tear through the constructs and leave the final wave broken as Westyr gives her announcement. You only have a few moments though before the new enemy presents itself from the shadows. A pair of wispy figures cackling from the darkness. Their forms are indistinct, but at the same time their shapes seems somewhat familiar.

"Oh glory to us. Finally we get some fresh blood." A crease of of a bloody red grin appears across the creatures head as it speaks in Taldane.

The other adds, "Yes, yes! Finally something weak to destroy. I wonder if they will scream?"

These are petitioners of Abaddon, the mortal dead whose souls were deemed fit to be damned to annihilation. Their forms are especially well built to take unending punishment and torment, but the deaths they deal out are slow and torturous when they catch a living soul in their grasp.

The spirit lashes out at Ironshanks, but blow has little effect on the dwarven armor. "Oh, but I love to play with my food so much.

Agon's finishing strike is shallow though to not be a lethal. The creature's body refuses to die easily, spirtual wispy limbs snapping back into place.

Nahko's and Ironshanks blows continue to tear through the broken spirit, dealing little bits of persistent damage as they cut deep.

After this the party will have more of a chance to determine the setting for the fight. Elemental and Fiendish attackers are assaulting throughout the asteroid and you can choose where you wish to fight them. Your options are:
1. Continue to fight them off here in the presence of the elemental spirit among difficult terrain.
2. In a wider open area with a central defensive point (Slide 3)
3. In a series of caverns and tunnels of varying sizes. (Slide 4)
If you have a preference, you can state where in the area you want to fight the attackers. Fro slides 3 and 4 you would just put your icon where you would want the fight to take place.

Seems to me the most helpful spot is the map we're on thanks to the ability to summon aid from the trapped elemental. That's my vote.

Option 1 or 2 seem to work the best. A tighter spot would effect our mobility imo. Khargrom prefers #1 as well since the wall issues don't really bother him.

Agon hated this blind loyalty. First Azyrul and now Abaddon. It reminded him too much of his mother and her demands. Demands he had to be perfect. Demands to spit on other races. He was glad to leave them all behind.

Post Battle Report: Pavo with 6 damage

It takes only a few more blows as the cackling spirit is brought down. The party has a short respite of a few minutes to breath and tend to their wounds and apply any healing they wish.

But this rest isn't indefinite as earthern elementals made of crumbling ruddish earth and flecks of obsidian push out of the ground.

As one rushes to strike Bemmer it appears to be, as far as one can gather from elemental body language, desperate and frightened as the creature's battle cry is a slow avalanche rather than loud crashes the of the others and the body quivers as it tries to makes desperate wide attacks.

Prank War Map

These elementals are no strangers to you after your varies battles on the asteroid. These elementals move at the steady pace of a dwarf and their earthern shell will deflect most physical attacks away [17 AC]. However they do not have any DR or resistances, so when you break through that shell nothing will stop the damage you deal. However their own attacks are powerful as well and will be both accurate and devastating in their power.

As an additional reminder, the elementals can not be flanked and don't take additional damage from critical hits or sneak attacks.


Prank War Map

Bemmer moves back and casts guidance on Ironshanks. The obsidian speckled elemental rushes forward and throws all of the weight behind a single blow to take out one of the Pathfinders. That barely misses as is collapses in a heap and it is forced to try to recover.

The other swings wildly as Bemmer withdraws and it attacks Khargrom in his stead. The attack is trivial to avoid and is nothing but power with no direction.

Ironshanks own blow misses is able to get into a stable position to deliver another solid blow soon.
