I am attempting a faction goal, to forego downtime in order to finalize a report on the mission.
Wisdom DC 15: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
That report was barely passable.

Hey guys, sorry to see you go, Jahz and Tabar. Thanks GM, I had fun!
As I said at the beginning of the scenario, I'll rebuild Saint Gudule so that he may be a bit useful.
I found a mystery that will suit more how I rp'd him this scenario.
I'll try to update him this afternoon (Europe).

If you were level 2, I put you on slow track for this scenario otherwise you'd eventually outlevel the spire levels. You also may not replay level 1 with another level 2 character without an actual replay of some kind.
Make sure you pickup the land rush sheet as well, it provides some boons that help to make up for the lack of prestige/fame you get for doing only modules.
Barm, the scenario reporter says that you are a core character, with this adventure reported, you can no longer play your character in CORE games.
Reposting so this is on the most current page.

Thanks a lot GM!
Could you please set me as inactive as a player and character in the campaign page.
Have fun!!

Here we are, Saint Gudule is now morphed into what I wanted him to be. GM, take a look at his sheet, he changed a bit. He stays however the chaotic dude he's been during the first floor.

Welcome Talondreal!
I think we came back to town and already down to the second level of the spire. Maybe you could just introduce your character like Trutzburg.

Hi GM, I believe you set me as inactive as a character but not as a player. Is that possible?
Thanks for checking!

Unless you're especially feat starved, I'd suggest the dirty fighting and dirty trick line of feats Saint Gudule

Yes, I've thought about it but this revelation allows him to make a dirty trick maneuver at 30 ft and whitout provoking and that's already great. I still have until level 3 to think about it.
Saint, what is the premise of your characters.
I don't understand the question. Do you mean his background? It's on his profile :)

The dirty trick feats would apply to your ranged version as well, that's why I suggested it. This is similar to how improved and greater trip apply to the toppling spell metamagic.

Indeed! However, I'll need the "dirty tactics" feat before taking "improved dirty trick". Tough choice but it might be fun. :)

I just noticed that Jawhar's profile line says level 3, but he should be level 2 from only receiving 1.5xp from the last floor unless he already had 1.5+ xp, in which case I'll have to slow track this scenario from him as well.
I started at level 2.2 (5xp), so the 1.5 was enough to raise me to 3rd. You had mentioned at the beginning that I would slow track the first two levels.
After this level, I should be at 8xp (6.5 + 1.5). I do have a pending chronicle assigned to this character from using a 4th level pre-gen. So, once I reach 4th level that sheet will kick in, which might cause me to be one level above the party again. I am not entirely sure of the math.
If you feel that will require further adjustment, we can revisit that in the future.

Ok, thanks for the detailed layout of your XP Jawhar. I just want to make sure you don't leave the level range of the spire if you plan on doing the whole thing since the last 6 floors or so have to be slow tracked by everyone (16 scenarios that make you level 13 I think).

@GM: I'll post the friendly reminder on dirty tricks when I attempt one, since it's not so common. :)

Thanks! I've actually played through the entirety of curse of the crimson throne where a vigilante used it to great effect, especially since some of the best dirty trick feats are banned in PFS, but weren't in campaign mode.

I'm going to be traveling for the holidays. My last guaranteed day that I will be posting is the morning of the 22nd. I won't guaranteed be back online again until Jan 2nd. Doesn't mean I won't be able to post or be online, just that I will be out with family for the 10 days and can't guarantee anything.
Just an FYI.

It's been 48 hours. Everyone has posted their action for combat. GM, did you post something that might have gotten eaten in the forums?
Talondreal

lol, 4 hours later I get to post my action. That is what happens when you are grading finals and have students present :)

My posting time will be slowing drastically from now on until the 2nd of January. I work as a pastor in the mountains, so I have little to no time of internet during these days. Sorry about that!
Please bot Gudule if needed.

Looks like some of us are busy with the holidays, including myself. I'll continue posting tomorrow.

Can we see the caster through the tapestry? How about the spider?
I am imagining that he is able to target people with spells by looking through a hole in the tapestry or something, but can we target either of them with spells without moving around or slicing our way through?

....Or shooting!

As previously stated, you can tell where the caster is, but he has total improved cover unless you're behind the tapestry with him

Happy NeW Year. I have been in bed the past few days fighting off a cold and catching up on Star Trek Voyager. I think it is my favorite of the Trekkie series.
