The lady humor's Bhoor's somewhat subtle flirtation attempts for a short time, but eventually she grows tired of the half elf's pursuits and uses the questions of the drow in her city as a distraction.

"Yes, yes. Bregan d'Aerthe..." She says to Dacknar and Unmei, slight smile crossing her face. "We had to tolerate their presence in the city until the lost funds were truly discovered and secured. After all, there was a possibility that Jarlaxle and his band would find it first. If he did, we would need to move quickly to prevent him using it for whatever nefarious scheme he was brewing."

She smiles and raises her glass to the three of you. "But with the dragons recovered, their presence is no longer necessary. Isn't that correct Inspector?" She says turning to Blastwind who bows his head graciously.

"Indeed, Open Lord. Even now our men are rounding up members of the mercenary company and escorting them to the docks. The 'carnival' should be sailing out of the harbor with today's tide." He sips from his own glass of wine. "Of course, there'll be a few open bunks thanks to these fine citizens." He adds with a wry grin.

Melodious laughter bursts from the Open Lord followed by a very ungoddess like, nasally snort. "Haha. You did leave quite a mess down in that catacomb." She says. "Which reminds me..." She snaps her fingers and the secretary nods and runs out. Moments later he returns with an ornate rosewood box. Her personal crest glittering on the top in silver inlay. Taking the box from the dwarf she hands it to Dacknar with a wink and smile.

"An additional token of my appreciation and gratitude for your efforts." She says lifting the lid to reveal a set of four silvered drow skull mugs sitting in soft velvet. Each mug is labeled with a name. From the biggest, Soluun to the smallest, Jax'ellrean.

Unmei pauses, taken aback by the Open Lord's gruesome present.

For a heartbeat, she reconsiders the city officials before her. Allowing the possibility that Mask would trick His most devoted servant.

"How... different! Did you make them yourself?" she ends up asking.

With a big smile on his face Dacknar says to the one lord.
"How ever did know that I was looking for a set of these?"
Gives her a wink and takes the box, placing it next to him by the chair.

The Open Lord of Waterdeep laughs brightly at Dacknar's question and gives the halforc a light pat on the back.

"Well, I am the daughter of a goddess." She says in a voice filled with humor. "I've also done a fair bit of adventuring in my many years." She adds stepping over to a side cupboard. With a wink and a smile she opens a cupboard door to reveal her own set of mugs. Ogre, drow, derro, duergar, demonic, and others to bizarre to identify.

"Any good adventurer likes to keep a few memories. And they did call me the Witch Queen of the North for good reason."

There's a knock at the door and the secretary begins to pack up his implements.

"Ah...too bad." Laerel says, setting down her goblet of wine. "Alas, my friends, other duties call. It seems there is a delegation from Neverwinter that I absolutely must meet with today."

"Do enjoy your new found wealth and Waterdeeps many opportunities. Just be sure to keep on the right side of the law." She adds with a wink to Blastwind who merely grunts before following her and the secretary out the door.

Unmei is blown away by the collection, then she lets out a laugh of relief, her head tilting back as she thanked the Lord of Shadows for His infinite cleverness.

She steps out of the door and takes in the only city that she's ever known, the greatest city of all, and the one she would see filled with the laughter of children, be they rich or poor, happy and considered by all.

She turns to her companions: "This was fun! We have money to spend, yes? What are your plans?"
