I'd be interested as well. What sort of parameters are we looking at?
Playtest rules. Custom characters, lvl 1, 150 sp for item purchase, all common items available.
You have to use the backgrounds from the Doomsday Dawn adventures.
Lost Star, the first chapter, is a rather straight forward dungeon crawl. I will be using Google Slides for the maps.
Looks like we have four players, so if you can generate characters by the end of Friday, we will start on Saturday.

Thanks to RobL for the heads up! I'm here and interested. I was thinking Dwarf Bard, but I'll give Rob the bard spot and go with Human Angelic Sorcerer instead. I'll try to work it up here in the next bit while I'm still up. :)

Alright, just about done with my character. Do you have a format you'd prefer to have these submitted in?
Also, do you want the ability boost allocation listed or just the final ability scores?
For PF1 I am most used to the Herolabs format in the Character description. For PF2P - no idea, to be honest. Got any good ideas?
This time, show me all the boosts, please. I want to follow all the mechanics I can, to better learn it.

Cool. I am new to Paizo but not PBP. Do we have any other threads yet? I see we have a tank, so far.
I am thinking a ranger for DPS and potentially set up for multiclassing if needed.
I just started a gameplay thread for the 1st chapter. Not much there yet, but you can start introducing your characters.
Did you read the background info on the adventures?

I recommend the editable pdf I posted my work in progress as.

I looked through. Seems legit, only nitpick - you should put your "message" in the cantrip section. Just to keep track of it.

Later that night, the big boss took them to a hill overlooking a small town and pointed out their target. Stores of food were in a building marked with a shiny sword. While looking on, the light in the town reflected off the sword brilliantly and hurt the little goblin thief's eyes. Remembering his vivid nightmare, he warned the big boss that they shouldn't raid it, but in their argument, the little goblin thief was chased off.
Being the superstitious sort, the little goblin thief was worried if others stole the sword that he might be blinded as well as them anyways. So he set out to warn the villagers of the coming raid. Only no one would listen to a goblin. Most chased him off with intent to harm him had he not fled.
By the time he stopped fleeing and hiding, it was time for the raid. The little goblin thief knew only he would listen to himself and made for the building with only a makeshift torch in hand, having accidentally dropped his dogslicer while running from the mangy beast it was named after earlier that night.
Sneaking into the building, the little goblin thief discovered the cache of food for what it was. At least a dozen delicious human children no larger than he.
When the goblin raiding party broke through the doors, the little goblin thief screamed and flailed to wake the children up and rushed them out the back, holding the goblin raider off by wildly swinging his torch about. Inadvertantly ignighting pews and drapes as he went.
Eventually the building was engulfed in flames and with the food having escaped, the raiding party retreated. Leaving the little goblin thief trapped in the building as it burned around him.
When the little goblin came to, he realized he had been treated by the clerics of the shiny sword for saving the children at the expense of severe burns and scars. When he told the longshanks of the dream, they told him it was a blessing he had been there or the children wouldn't have been able to escape. In reward they nursed him to health with much food and a handful of shiny coin.
Following the shiny goddess hurts, but it rewards with much food and shiny coin. To that, he took up a new name, TinderTender. Because the illustration of the flametender's duties was shone with a tindertwig, and the little goblin thief was distracted and misunderstood.

quick question of the group: right now, my stats are ST10 DX12 CN14 Int14 Wis10 Cha18. Seems pretty decent for a spellcaster bard. Is it worth it to drop one stat a bit to bump her Dex up? Might make her a little more helpful in combat situations
@GM: can I get a harmonica as a instrument? and what would the bulk on that be? I think I kinda like the idea of her singing the blues

I'd say it's light and would offer you to use the flute stats. Unfortunately there are none atm. Or you could take a giant harmonica (google it, it's bonkers) and have it take up 1 bulk.

Do we need an actual discussion thread?
Also, if making beautiful .pdf files is hard for you - don't worry. They just make it easier for me to check.
And I hope you don't mind some roleplaying preamble. The scenario tells just to drop you in the dungeon, but I would prefer to get some in-character introduction first.
English is not my native language, so feel free to tell me when I make mistakes.

We can use this thread or a discussion thread. Not picky, myself.
As for the RP preamble, personally I like it. :D
Since TinderTender was directly addressed, you want me to reply or wait for the others? Don't want to skip people unless it's ok.
You may answer. It will give others more options on how to respond, so it's a good move (:
