I will be on a family vacation until Friday. I should still be able to post, but will likely be late in the evening and only once per day.

Loving it so far, totally confused as to what is taking place so very different from any other Vamp game I have played in!

I'm not sure. We seem to be stuck without a direction to go, being in the barn while the sun is up.
Recap: Billy has been burnt by the sun already; Henry has recoiled and had to slam the barn door shut due to sun. The wagon is a one-horse, open back type. We've been instructed to be gone by mid-day. Have I missed anything?
I just don't see many options other than waiting for the farmer and incapacitating/killing him or being turned to piles of ash if we try to leave before nightfall.
So someone suggest that the next time the farmer comes back you take him out?

So I think this is a good point to say the first "session" is complete and give each of you 3 xp.

One thing I like to do in my world of darkness games is have players say something that their character learned in the story. It could be something about themselves, about vampires as a species or another topic.
Lastly to be clear, by this point everyone will have realized that they have 1 dot in each of the 3 physical disciplines. It would seem that is somehow a side effect of whatever made you vampires.
Henry has learned that despite his money and his hard work the world is an inherently unfair place. His life was exactly as he wanted it and it was ripped away from him by complete strangers. On top of that, he is now somehow dead but not dead. As a man with no experience in the occult he has no explanation for how this has happened but the physical evidence that it did happen is irrefutable. He is trying to think about the next steps though inside he is enraged by what has transpired.
FYI, I will be packing and moving and then unpacking again over the next 35 - 40 days so if I have intermittent unexplained absences from the boards this is why.
Well, I think Miles has learned that random strangers will happily beat him over the head and cause him pain for no readily apparent reason. Then there's the whole 'dead and reanimated' matter. He's also learned that he's a major threat to ordinary people, especially if he goes hungry.

Having just done this, I completely understand.
Billy is of a mind that this might be a "what goes around comes around" type scenario. Payback perhaps for the less than good, God fearing life he has led the last few years. No bother though, it is obviously too late to repent his ways...might as well continue on and make the best of it, as has been his way of living for a while now.
