Now that you're here, and you're not a wizard, I'm wanting to abandon the 3 levels of rogue, and go with taking 1 of 2 feats that let him become an arcane trickster with a single level of rogue.

Boom. You've got a serious caster and he's roguish, too. All but 4 class skills.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, the 3pp feat is overpowered. I'll take the PF feat when the time comes. He gets an extra 1d6 SA, letting him qualify at 5th, but with more and higher level spells.

KenderKin is the arbiter of that idea, not me.

We could be okay; it's definitely possible. But I can also see the poor eidolon dying all the time as it soaks damage for us.

Nah, not in particular, just general concern about the party's ability to take hits. I'm sure the GM isn't going to kill us because we agreed to play small monsters!

I have added a hex map for exploration so that we can easily identify the hex we are currently in. I procured the map via google-fu, so don't expect I can make changes to it....

So you guys started in E11, went into E9,

In E9 you found one group of bandit tracks headed into D8, and the other group (without the wagon) headed into D10.

@Gufi We have a generator, so we'll be fine. We had a huge ice storm out here in like 2004; didn't have power for almost two weeks. We've had a generator ever since, lol.

@KK Ouch; they've already used the liquid "salt" for two days here, and I don't think there's a single school that bothered to stay open. And we're supposed to get it at 1am.

So first, here's the OOC version of what I'm going to try terribly to say IC in a minute.

Gufi uses Dancing Lights as far to the right or left of their location as he can, to look like glowing eyes.

Colvin tries to sneak around and shoot the dude doing laundry, hopefully with his poison.

Y is going to yell at them, first in Draconic and then in Common, pretending the lights are an angry dragon. He's going to tell Soggy to come around from behind the wagon and jump out with his scare.

Mite with the complicated name, pepper them with something at range until they're close enough to drop your Summon Monster on them, or sneak down and do it; this is the hardest part for me, since I won't know you have that or be able to tell you since you're up a tree. I think I'll have him mime an arrow or something, hoping you're looking.

Soggy's the signal; when he jumps, we attack. The eidolon can come charging in then, too. We'll just use our beasties to do the dirty work for us!

How's that sound?

The bandits are advancing out of their camp...thus rendering the camp map useless.

Q. I am going to say that you ventured off to the right hand side, and climbed a tree near to the bandit camp, and thus near to the bandit standing on the platform (a few boards placed in the tree)...

Just a note on "turns"

If I tell you your turn, then each of you may post in any order.

If I roll an initiative for the creatures, you each get a chance to win the roll for the group.

So in my thinking initiative for play by post is the simple "us" and "them" format.

Only on a natural 20 I let the BBEGs/mooks get double damage. I do not usually roll to confirm crits for mooks. Just take 14 instead of 7.

@Quuroog: If you're in the tree with the one bandit, I'm at least 30-40 feet horizontally away from you, and however far vertically you're up.

@Yraalik: That's why I asked - if I can get within 30', I can channel and reach you - or I can climb across and jump/fall down to get closer. Of course, I would also need to know how many unconscious bandits were within range - they might need some tender loving clubbin'.

How bad a shape are you in? Your status line says 2 hp?
