They are perfect copies, but normally Varanog holds his staff in his right hand. The one with the mirrorimages holds his staff in his left hand! (AKA, they are mirrored.)

I see a -4 in his numbers for shooting into melee. Cover is not a penalty to hit, it's a bonus to AC. Also, is touch 12 not enough to hit a mirror image?

If the attack misses by 5 or less, one of your figments is destroyed by the near miss.

I'm going to delay slightly, to give Engashez/Athrax/Skyrakh the opportunity to zap the remaining image(s). Then I'll drop my bow and draw my other sword, and sneak attack the imposter.

Yes, corporeal. It is very hard to see the difference between the Fazgyns. This would be a lot easier if one of them was 'see through' ;-). The shadow creature (not real according to Pethjun) seems see trough though!

Here's a tactic for distinguishing the real Fazgyn: the one that's trying to kill you is probably not the real one.
