Zeriax:

Major recruitment and upgrading spending and purchasing a lot leaving just 3 goods, 3 labor, and 5 magic

Maelchar:

Built second lower class tavern and gained heavily in influence leaving 3 goods, 3 labor, 10 magic and 95! influence

Nasira:
gained capital totaling 16 goods, 16 influence, 15 labor and 8 magic
plus earnings: 39 Goods, 40 Influence, 16 Labor from hospital

Morgrym:
built second smith and gained capital leaving 45 goods, 47 labor, 9 influence and 11 magic. Trusting your compilation and didn't bother to double check so hope that is ok.

Pakak:
adding to library but unspecific details will work out later. leaving 24 goods , 9 influence , 25 labor, and 10 magic.


The city planners and leadership will have put forth the expenses for a town commons area to be upgraded to a marketplace next month, a town hall and are attempting to hire some low level druids to establish a few farms in the surrounding area.

Is this correct? My Teams and Buildings do not produce any resources..?


They do produce resources Zeriax depending on what you want them to produce. Each entry in the room description details what they give bonuses to. Then you add up all the same bonuses and roll a d20. That result divided by 10 is the resources gained for that day. I was not going to state what you earned as I did not know if you were wanting a certain resource or going after gp.

Sorry, I have been slacking on Nasira's earnings. And I'm going to be slacking a bit longer. I just don't have time just yet. This weekend looks promising if I can wrap my head around it again.


we can delay the city building as well if you want or we can hand wave it for now to keep moving. Whenever you want to go ahead and roll for earning here and post what you want to do. FYI as well the next 3 books take place away from Drezen but you come back at the end of each. Wanted to let you know that so if you want to build accordingly to have magic resources or crafting available you could. Othewise So'rien will be able to take on some of the crafting duties if need be with his Ye Old Magik Shoppe.

Couple questions: Should we go ahead and divide the cost(40,473.5) for the items sold? It would be 8,094.7 if so.

Also, is it okay to switch those items I mentioned previously from Mal and So'rien to Zeriax and Morgrym? They both had a +2 cloak and one of them(Mal I would guess) had +2 Amulet of NA. Obviously we'd split the cloaks and the amulet would go to Zeriax.

Also, if no one wants the Armor of the Pious, should we sell it? Morgrym, for now, is going to roll with the Celestial armor. But eventually he does want to create his own armor.

Speaking of which, Variel, seeing how Morgrym has a weaponsmith he NOW wants to build and armorsmith. This is the cost. Create 18 Goods, 1 Influence, 17 Labor So that'll be his project for the month.


I think the consensus was to leave them their gear for now in case they return. Also if we keep them as staying in Drezen then they can work on crafting and items for you so you can get your armor that you want.

Looking it up Zeriax but did not see it in the kingdom building thread. I know the dojo was customized with a team in place but what exactly I am not sure.

Since the assumptions for all my purchases, etc, were based on Zeriax working for all the needed resources, everything else is extra - namely those produced by the monastery, those offered by the allotment, and those that were left after my math - which means the result of the above sum are 'extra' for me to spend during months 2/3 :D

Variel, do you confirm?

(I assume at the end of Month 2 there will be added generation of resources from the additions to the monastery and troops recruited (again here), which will be all finalized in Month 3 - yes?)

The go value is 5he same as the capital bonus. Thus the laundry would provide +3 gp on your roll or +3 goods. It seems like you are correct with your assessment of costs and such, the on,y thing I think we are off on is the number of days that you were gathering resources as some of those were spent exploring or helping out on quests. You originally planned 4 days the first month and 20 each month after. The other 10 days each month we’re exploring. I show that you spent 15 days each month exploring. Not a big deal but 10 days are missing. If you want to assume that all of you buildings were earning the requir d capital or gp as they were finished then we can call it a wash and no need to go back and change anything. Sound good to you?

This should be month 4 now.

I tried to track things down. Found my spreadsheet, which seems to indicate partial earnings for month three, gold but nothing else, which I know is not correct.

I will need to look at the additional earning potential of the structures and teams I was putting together and figure out what I finally decided on before I start rolling dice. I may just take 10 for ease - by now, I'll be rolling a hundred dice to represent a month's earnings!

Man it's crazy. I clicked on some of those links that Zeriax threw out there and found myself explaining things. I'm like, "Really? Is that me? Man it at least LOOKS like I know what I'm talking about." Lol! It's totally weird to see you explaining something that you have no idea what you're talking about. Does that make sense? Few questions.

1. The gray barriers are walls, correct?

2. Is this a cavern like place?

3. If it's not a cavern, would that mean there's no 'roof' - so to speak - on this place ?

Just trying to understand if I can fly over the walls or do I have to go through the walkpaths like Garith is doing.


This is outdoors with the grey areas the walls. There is no roof on anything but the tower in the se corner. Thus everything could see you and fly to you if capable.

That flying thing(at least I assume it flies) in V/X 13/14. It's like 6 or 7 squares to the NE of Morgrym and it's apparently large. It's the closest creature to him.

Morgrym's not going any farther than that. He's definitely going to stay with the group so no worries there.

I guess we can try to take it one at a time for as long as we can - starting with the one in X:15 yes. It seems a more or less contained area where others do not have immediate access.

Even if they hear us, they may not immediately locate us... We try to hit fast and hard. From where he is, (hopefully) Zeriax can jump across to attack from the wall, and keep an eye on their surroundings..

I say Morgrym mauls it from the skies, Garith and Maelchar from the ground.

Wait, Malechar is not here, right..?

In any case, I say pincer move on X:15 for starters?

(Btw, we lost Maelchar and So'Rien right... Seems like a VERY harsh hit to not be replaced. You trying to kill us Variel? :P)
