Covering his eyes just in time, he prevents himself from being blinded by the woman's spell. Whilst he would've liked to fill her with lead, it wasn't his choice alone to make. Still, he wasn't quite satisfied with her surrender yet. "Wise choice..." He stated as he closed the distance, keeping his pistol trained on her before whispering into his android comrade's ear. "Olimp... knock her out. We'll search and bind her once she's unconscious and take her to the authorities. Hopefully, they'll let us have a bit of vengeance once they're done with her."

Grabbing the wand at least for the time being she looks at the woman.

I can think of no reason Dilana would be all that familiar with the League. Even with a high intellect she would only know what the other have told her. She is not going to do anything to stop the woman from leaving.

She will not be running back to the League. Olimpia states firmly. She eyes the woman and the looks at her party, hoping for an option other than the obvious one.

Olimpia's background starts out as "Hunted by the Technic League since her self liberation"... She is NOT in favor of letting this enemy agent go. Her fear of the League is so great that she would kill the woman before letting her go, unless she is convinced that she is not loyal to the League. She will do this even if it were to mean an alignment shift.

"You'd better show us where then," Raktar says, the edge of menace still in his voice. "And I'd be careful what you say about people who don't like the League. My friends over here don't take that kind of talk well."

Raktar knows no more about the Technic League than anyone else in Torch knew. I don't imagine he's either for or against them, but he is against cold-blooded murder.
JJ and Olimpia have the most skin in this game with respect to their hatred of the League. I'm happy to play out a confrontation if they want her dead, because Raktar wouldn't stand by and let it happen based on what he currently knows.

"Figgy is right. The locals are in charge here, they should decide what to do with her," Raktar says. "We can't go round dispensing our own justice, we don't have the right. We should take her back to the council and let them deal with her. I can't imagine they'll take kindly to spies from the League."

You hand the woman over to Redfang, who promptly calls the Deadeye council to assemble with the aid of a bell in the High homes roof.

Ilarris Zeleshi is quickly interrogated and despite her unhelpful attitude is quickly revealed to be an agent of the Technic league. She is immediately cast out of Iadenveigh with little more then what she has on her.

The council has a hushed discussion among themselves before Redfang approaches you, he looks worried. "Our thanks for your work stangers. In a short time you've proved yourselves good friends to Iadenveigh."

He lowers his voice to and addresses you seriously. "Some years ago Old Skelton decided he needed a new well, he'd barely dug down a few feet when the ground gave way under him. He had found one of those cursed technological ruins, and as is normal it killed him! We sealed it away and let it be, but now it looks as if those in the League have gotten wind of this site. We need it searched and cleared before more of their scum arrive to do it without care of the people who live here."

Straightening up. "Can I ask you to investigate this ruin, it is extremely dangerous, but I think you're no strangers to such things are you?"

And this is where JJ vanishes, you suspect that the exiled agent might not reach Torch.

Figgy nods at Redfang's assessment. "We will explore this cave system, anything we find we can keep and take away from your village?"

Raktar is pleased with the outcome of the council's debate, though he suspects that the woman's prospects are poor.

"We'll do what we can. We've a little experience with similar areas," he says confidently.

Lets say JJ discussed this with Olimpia or Olimipia might be taking a "leave of absence" too. I don't mean to overreact but her fear and hatred of the league defines her. She is sure that if the woman gets away multiple strike forces will be deployed hunt Olimpia down and drag her back to slavery and torture. That will happen without a doubt. Just ask her. :)

Olimpai stays out of the discussion with the folk of the town and only nods her ascent to help. She looks worried but that is reasonable basked on what the town has asked her group to do.

Olimpia it is certain that you and JJ had a quiet talk regarding this woman not reaching the nearest town, JJ was already outside the walls and waiting in concealment somewhere private when she was kicked out. :)

No response to my PM of over a week ago, so I'm sad to say the JJ has gone, he was struggling even before the board prolapsed. Hopefully he can get back to us sometime in the future. I'll ask a few players in some of my other games if they're interested. So we'll be a little slow for a day or two.

The Haunted Well
Old Skelton's farm is located at the northern edge of Bad water (2 on the Iadenveigh map), and consists of a small cottage and sturdy barn.

The yard is badly overgrown with weeds that nearly obscure a crumbling well covered with an oblong capstone. When Skelton decided to dig this well several years ago, he fell through a hole landing in area A1. Distressed to find himself in a chamber of obvious technology, he managed to climb up out of the well, only to be attacked by something unknown.

When Skelton's body was discovered the next day, the Deadeye Council made a cursory examination of the buried chamber before deciding to plug the well and, both literally and figuratively, cover up the presence of the chambers with a stone slab.

The Deadeye council have given you the password for the Gylph of warding on the capstone.

What are you doing now?

I've sent out to a few players to see if they're interested. Should know in a day or two?
