Okay, for those of you who have never participated in a play-by-post before, here's some groundrules and guidelines.
Guidelines for posting:
All in charater speech is in BOLD with QUOTES, like so: "I am speaking to you right now!"
All thoughts the character is having, inner monologues and so forth go in ITALICS, like thus: This is a snide remark my character is thinking, but does not voice.
All actions go in normal text, with no formatting: I am walking across a room and punching a guy for thinking snide things.
All out of character speech goes in [.ooc] (without the".") tags, and will appear so: Okay, so what's the plan guys?
My personal groundrules for play-by-post games:
-Post once per day, at MINIMUM. You may post more, and in fact I encourage you to do so because it keeps the game flowing and fun. If YOU post I will post, updating the game. If I do NOT post, pester me about it on Steam. If you do NOT post for a while, but everyone else is, I will generally move along without you, GMPCing you in combat situations. If this persists for too long, I am liable to assume you're gone forever, and replace you.
-Inter-character reactions and conversations are strongly encouraged. You will have more fun this way. I will have more fun this way. RPGs are more fun when both the RP and the G exist in harmony. Which leads to the second half:
-Remember your attributes! I cannot be expected to remember exactly what your attack bonuses and defense modifiers are off the top of my head, or what all your powers do. I will attempt to do so, but I won't catch everything. If you guys are flounderig because you're trying to get over a fence and somebody forgets they can climb walls (or forgets they have a ROPE OF CLIMBING HEM HEM CUBE AND DUAL), it's not my fault if you have issues.
Also, put most of your relevant static attributes in your Classes/Levels line in your profile.
In Pathfinder, I usually ask for HP/AC/Saves/Perception/Sense Motive and other relevant defensive abilities.
In this game, the options are a bit broader, but in general I want you to put:
-Your Dodge and Parry stats along with your Resistances of other kinds.
-Anything you are immune to (Bullets, for example)
-Skills that can be rolled as a static check, like Awareness.
-Special defenses like Razputin's Impervious Forcefield (put down that when it is up you are immune to Rank 5 or lower damage).
Last but not least...bear with me. I'm as new to this system as you are, so there'll be hiccups. If I do something wrong, and you catch it, tell me. Likewise, I will tell you.
That's all. Gameplay's up, let's have some fun!
