I have no damage. You can save that wand charge.
"Being faster is never bad. Being large and in charge wouldn't be bad." Ashur puts away the potion labeled "Fly" in his pack. 'Honestly, I hope you're right, Tanrov."
Erin Alegra

"Thank you Charlotte"
Erin says to Charlottte, then leans in conspiratorially, taking a quick glance at Arkwright, and whispers.
"It looks like you are going to have your hands full later, have fun."
She then proceeds over to Ashur.
"Ashur, anything else you need? I can go out and decoy first to draw some lighting, ice or whatever off you."
Yandu
|
"Lets not put ourselves directly in the line of fire again. I will send something in first."
Yandu casts summon monster III to summon celestial eagles. 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
He then casts Haste on the group.
"If you are ready - open the door."
Yandu
|
Yandu, who are you referring to when you say ‘group’?
Sorry - should have checked the spell before. Level 5 means 5 creatures which is everyone apart of Yandu himself. This is the last spell he casts just before the door gets opened - to allow 5 rounds.
The Summon is before that.

"No, it's fine. One last thing though." Ashur gets out a scroll and casts it. He has to sound out the words as he can barely read it, but he is successful. His normal tiefling features distort as they become more ursine-like. He draws the potion labeled "Fly".
Using scroll of aspect of the bear. Caster Level check to cast higher level scroll.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 Success
| GM Brute Squad |
Your return has apparently been anticipated because as Ashur opens the door, lightning springs up, crackling in a wall of energy barring the door. Tendrils reach out, shocking those nearby, and causing your hair to stand on end.
Ashur, Arkwright, and Charlotte take 5 electricity damage, Erin, Tanrov, and an Eagle take 1 electricity damage.
It looks like you can just walk through the wall, though it probably will be painful to do so.
Arkwright 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Ashur 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Charlotte 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Erin 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Tanrov 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Yandu 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Wayang 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Round 1

I cannot view the map after whatever was changed. My memory is kind of foggy as to how much room we had in here, so may need to back into the previous room.
"Yeah he was waiting for us alright."
Erin yells, as she backs out of the range of the electricity.
Ashur Glaber
|
"Well, I still gotta go in there and get him. Feel free to not leave me in there by myself." Ashur boldly walks through the wall of lightning and looks for the caster.
Give me damage please.
Perception
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
| GM Brute Squad |
You take 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (3, 5) + 8 = 16 electricity damage.
As you pass through the wall, you see that is it not so much a wall but a ring, a little less than 20’ across, and 20’ high. The Wayang is floating about 30’ up in the air above the far end of the patio. To get over to him, you will need to either cross through the wall again, or fly up and over it.
Ashur Glaber

Ashur draws the potion of Fly with his other move action.
Round 2 since I'm gonna be at work soon.
He drinks it and flies towards the wayang.
| GM Brute Squad |
You take 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (6, 1) + 8 = 15 electricity damage.
As you pass through the wall, you see that is it not so much a wall but a ring, a little less than 20’ across, and 20’ high. The Wayang is floating about 30’ up in the air above the far end of the patio. You can cast from where you are, but you need to make a concentration check.
Yandu

Action : Dismissing the Eagles ( this is a standard action)
Move : into a corner to be out of sight from the entrance
"it seems I conjured them on the wrong side of this wall. Sorry for the delay."
Do I have line of sight through the wall? Not aware of a wall of electricity or whatever this is.
Charlotte Amberdagger

Charlotte gets smacked with an electrical tendril. Waves of electricity hit her by surprise and disorients her for a moment. Remembering that this thing, whatever it is, has the ability to fly, she quickly pulls out her light crossbow to do some work with.
Move Action: Draw and load light crossbow while moving five feet to the doorway.
Standard Action: Shoots crossbow aiming above electrical wall. Since there is no one in melee combat I do not take the -4
To hit Wayang: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
If crossbow hits: 1d8 ⇒ 5

Charlotte, Drawing and Loading are both Move actions, so that's your entire round of actions. Also, you don't have line of sight through the wall. You will need to move through it before you can target the Wayang for a shot.
GM--I moved to the open doorway. Please see map for reference. Also I can draw as a free action and load while moving due to my BAB. Having to shoot next round is fine. Will leave the stats up for shooting unless you wish other wise.

I think what Brute is trying to say here is that even though you are at the doorway, there is a wall of electricity that blocks off the entire doorway, as per wall of fire, but actually electricity. This electric is throwing off enough of a visual to not allow you to see beyond it, so while you can fire a bolt through it, it is like firing it through a smokescreen, fog, or other visually hampering occurrence.
| GM Brute Squad |
I am saying two things. One, what Erin just said. Two, Drawing your Crossbow can be combined with moving up to your speed on the map as per the +1 BAB rule. But Loading your Crossbow is a separate Move Action. You can’t Draw, Load, and Shoot in the same round unless you have the Rapid Reload Feat, changing your Load to a Free Action.
Ashur, are you able to move your self on the map? Are you going right behind Ark, or beside him?
Ashur Glaber
|
Sorry, totally forgot to move myself. Assuming nothing stops me, I'm going to move as close to the caster as possible.
Yandu
|
Yandu moves out next to Tarnov. He then summons some new eagles closer to the wayang.
Eagles 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
The two eagles take flight and attack (80 feet fly and they get summoned in the direction of the wayang)
Attacks bite 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 damage 1d4 ⇒ 4
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 damage 1d4 ⇒ 1
| GM Brute Squad |
Ark, Ashur was actually right beside you in the ring of lightning. The map was not accurate. Do you want to move through and out of the ring, or hang back with him? Within the ring you no longer have line of sight to the Wayang, if that makes a difference.
Charlotte, that's only 15 feet of movement. You can accomplish that in a single move and do something else this round as well.
Ashur!
