Spooked about being outside alone at night after that odd threat, Circe decides to hell with being polite and goes right in.
Great, no one is here. Circe gives a little growl of frustration as she paces about the room for a few minutes, before finally settling down on Al's bed. Well, I guess I'll just wait here. They'll all return soon. Hopefully. I still feel a bit better here than in my own room.
Circe tells Rae to keep her eyes and ears open for anything and fluffs the pillow up against the headboard as she sits back to wait.

You see despite their attempt to avoid your notice three pursuers dressed in black outfits from head to toe. One on a nearby building to the right, one about 100 feet behind you, and a third in an alley to the right. You notice glints of steel with each. Instinct tells you they have drawn blades.

Rodgers is not surprisingly absent.
A trio of guardsmen are playing cards and another in robes reads in a corner. They look up at you as you walk up to the open door.
The man closes his book and say's to you, "What seems to be the problem?" He says as he stands.

Time for a chase scene ;)
Lorth holds his position for a few moments as he assesses the risks, before subtly shifting his weight and roaring as he charges away from his pursuers.
Your pursuers break stealth and chase after you. One across rooftops is slower than the other two, but the two now behind you on opposite sides of the street you can tell will catch up to you shortly. They're probably of the longer legged races you would guess.
Where are you running to exactly?

You're in the outer city now. Meaning outside the city wall.
You think if you cut across this alley you know that you can make it to the west gate, which leads into the city proper. There's always a few guards around the gate.
You do hear the footsteps getting closer. It's gut check time. I need to know exactly what you're planning on doing. Stand and fight or run?
| DM TCG |
Run - though with Dragon Style I can run through difficult terrain, so I'd seek to take advantage of that if possible.
You run through the alleyway and make haste to the gate. In the alley you come across some half emptied crates which you manage to acrobatically bypass. You heard and felt someone right behind you during the chase. When you barrel rolled over the crate they were tripped up. As you burst out of the alley you make a V-line (or is it B-line?) to the gate. As prediected their are about 5 guards going about their various duties. The road to the gate is wide and presently mostly clear. Just a few with carts going to their various destinations. Presumably home.

With the guards in sight you look back the way you came for your attackers. You see and hear nothing out of the ordinary.
The guards notice you as you stand breathing heavy. One of them casually says, "You alright, buddy?"

I assume it is safe to roll initiative when someone tries to sneak up on you. What is the setup of the rooftop like? Dash's actions will depend on his positioning and who acts first.
Initiative: 1d20 + 8
Sufficed to say you are not surprised. You'll go first.
This section of rooftop is roughly 50' square and mostly flat. To one side (behind you) is a slightly higher roof that is angled and leads to the next building. In front of you is a gap of about 10 feet with a 50' drop. The adjacent roof is slightly gabled with a terra-cotta tiles.
Dash reacts to the stranger quickly (if not necessarily intelligently) and launches himself toward his shadowy stalker. As he speeds toward his opponent, he says a short, silent prayer: "They say luck favors the bold, so Desna please grant me some luck!"
Attack roll:1d20 ⇒ 2
If shocking grasp, +6 vs touch:6d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 4, 2, 4) = 24electricity
If wakizashi, +7:3d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 5, 5) + 1 = 13
2. Attack. Either sword or shocking grasp.
3. Swift action, turn invisible. Invisible for 3 rounds.
*Edit: Ouch, really bad roll.

He's standing about 45 feet away in a shadow near a door. You'll have to charge.
Its hard to tell what you're doing with your attacks, but his AC is higher than 3, so I think you miss with your Wakasabi. Luckily that's the surprise round. You act first the next round.
The black clothed man's eyes widen a moment. He had thought himself unseen. He does, however just manage to shift slightly to avoid your blade.
you're both next to a wall that goes up 10' to a terracotta rooftop. There is a door about 10 feet to your left. His back is against the wall and you are facing him. Now 5 feet away, though you are invisible. At this distance you can see that he holds a very sharp knife similar to yours, but with a curved blade on one side and straight on the other. It's also ornate and stylized somehow, though you've not had time to make out many details.
Your initiative beat his, so you go first.

Sorry that was unclear. The attack roll was just the d20, then the bonus was listed next to the attack I was using. So "If wakizashi, +7" meant that it was 1d20 +7 to attack, meaning I rolled a 9 total (still a miss).
Well that failed miserably. I think I rattled him, but he has an ally somewhere, so I'd better be careful.

Well, I guess you're probably wondering why I'm in your room, alone. I'd like to say I have a good reason, but it's not really a good reason. Mostly a silly reason since nothing has actually happened and I have no proof that anything will happen. It's just that when I was reading my blank earlier his evening it went blank and then the only thing that appeared on it was a warning that we were in danger and to trust no one and that I take the east road home to be safe. So I took the east road because I didn't know what else to do and then I was still spooked after getting to my room that I thought I'd feel safer here and I wanted to talk to you guys about the warning anyway. I didn't want to start any more rumors by walking over here after hours, so I went to the roof of the girls dorm and flew to your balcony and you guys left the door to it unlocked so I came on in because I didn't want to stay outside by myself, I really hope you don't mind to much. And have you seen Al or the others?"
Finally stopping to take several deep breaths, Circe gives Lorth a chance to answer.

Al walks into his room a little grumpy. Stupid people skulking about is a good reason not to swim, but he didn't have to be happy about it.
As he walks into his room expecting to get some rest, he noticed some excited conversation. He walks halfway across the room before he notices that Circe is also there, and he does a double take. Something was definitely off from a normal day. The way they stopped when he walked in made it seem a bit suspicious. The alcohol was making just a little slow though, and so he decided to play it up a little. "Oh... good evening all. What is all this about?"

Circe's face lights up with relief as Al enters the room glad that he is ok. Bouncing of the bed, she begins heading towards him, but stops about a foot away, suddenly a bit shy. "Thank goodness you're ok too. Like I was telling Lorth and Dash, I was all worried when that message said that we were all in danger. That's why I got so worried after I flew in here and didn't find you or your roommates here. But I'm ok, really, I took the east road to my room like the message said and then I flew here all sneaky like just in case anyone was watching my building for me. And who came for you Dash? Did you see anyone after you Al? How about you Lorth? Was that message for real? And what exactly is going on around here?"
