Orgrim follows the rest of the party into the room, his hammer at the ready

Tathane moves into the northwestern room with everyone else.

Judging from the shelves lining the walls, this darkened room
might once have been a storeroom, though its contents have
long since succumbed to the passage of time. A crack in the
northern wall has apparently let in some rainwater, which has
collected in a large puddle on the floor.

From behind a shelf comes a dog-sized lizard has two horns, one on either side of its head, and green scales that crackle with sparks of lightning. It looks friendly as it approaches the party.

Roldala hefts her hammer suspiciously.

What the hells is that?

"That's an ugly critter," Tathane blurts out. "I don't know what it is, Roldala, but maybe it will keep to itself?"

"Hey there little fella," Shalagor says in a gruff voice taking a tentative step forward and reaching out his hand. "What are you doing here?"

Mavyn picks up her skirts to avoid the puddles but forgets all about her dress when the lizard appears.

Well then shalagor has no idea what it is and I take a -4 on that wild empathy check meaning that if he is indifferent or worse then I did not improve his attitude towards me, if however he was friendly to begin with then the DC is 10 and he is now helpful.

"No idea. But I don't like that crackling stuff." Tathane looks askance at the approaching creature and backs away a couple of steps.

Mavyn recognizes it as a shocker lizard. These little creatures, about the size of a dog have the ability to shock, which grows more powerful as more of them are around. You see only one. This little guy does not seem hostile, just hungry.

Someone give it a snack then!

"Well, there's dog meat outside. Or spider downstairs?"

Orgrim fumbles through his pack, digs out one of his rations, and hands it out to the lizard "Here ya go...abit tough but the jerky is still good eh"

Hungrily the creature takes the snack and in its excitement a small discharge of electricity shocks the paladin

Should I crush it? Or do you wanna turn the other cheek? Roldala asks, voice dripping with sarcasm.

It would only be the other cheek it is shocked him on the bum :)

Ogrim yelps as ashock as a jolt runs through him when the creature takes the snack. He sucks on his fingers as the creature scampers off to a corner to enjoy its meal in peace.

"That was...quit a shock."

He stands and grips his hammer "Shall we continue with the other rooms?"

Roldala nods curtly and continues on to the next room.

Tathane chuckles at Orgrim's response then agrees with the suggestion of moving on.

Tathane follows Roldala as she heads into the next room. "We've seen wild dogs and sparking lizards. I wonder what else we're going to find in here."

Room 4
Racks for weapons line the walls of this chamber; above the racks
hang various shields, pieces of armor, weapons, and standards on
display. Most of the racks are empty, but a few weapons remain in
place. A horrible stench fills the room as well, akin to the smell of
rotten eggs mixed with the reek of an open sewer.

Make 2 DC 13 Fort saves as you enter into the room

Roldala eyes the weapon racks with professional curiosity, but quickly loses all composure before that godsawful reek!

"Oh! Wow! This smells like my sister's cooking!" Tathane wrinkles his nose in disgust at the smell that threatens to turn his stomach. He notices the racks of weapons and moves towards them hoping to find a trinket, or some other valuable item, that he could accidentally place in his pocket.

Mavyn wrinkles her nose at the first wave of stink. The second turns her stomach.

Shalagor enters the room and it reminds him of his time living in a cage in his own filth. It isn't a pleasant memory.

Oso Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Oso is more used to this kind of stench.

As the stench hits his nose, Orgrim's stomach churns and he takes a deep breath through his mouth. Can't appear weak in front of the other...light grant me strength! Orgrim shakes his head and forces himself to stand upright, ignoring the stench as much as possible.

Can anyone see what's causing all that reek?

Mavyn gags while she steps forward and lobs a bomb at the stinky trog near the wall.

Roldala snarls as she shoulders Mavyn out of the way to bring down the hammer on the Trog on her right Red

Tathane moves a few steps towards the center of the room where he can get a clear shot at the troglodyte on his left. He pulls up his shortbow and fires an arrow.

The half orc smashes the poor trog while the half elf misses.

The burns from the alchemist did help to bring the creature down

"Protect me" Shalagor howls and charges the creature swing his flachion in a great stroke. Shalagor AC 14

Damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 6 = 12

As commanded Oso follows Shalagor and attacks the creature that Shalagor just took a swing at. Oso AC 13

What is the knowledge to ID these guys?

Mavyn examines the corpses of the poor trogs. "My gods they stink, even in death!"
