Moving my OOC response over here, but the goal isn't to keep the miners on the crew or take them anywhere, just to keep them safe while we investigate. If we piss something off and get ourselves killed, we've at least protected the civilians. By the same token, if there's something angry and intelligent that wants to leave, it doesn't have the option of using the miners as hostages to try and get us to take it elsewhere.
Zeni's hope is that there's a solution where they can make the place safe enough to call in a repair crew and leave the miners here confident that they and the facility are safe moving forward.
Goals scale down from there, but the only reason she'd be taking them offworld would be if the results of their investigation revealed that they could do nothing to stop future attacks, and those attacks were likely to continue, thus making leaving the miners here a virtual death sentence.
I figured I wanted to point it out though before we had to talk about a hol hour hour segment on PWN about the "Desna's Reach Scandal".
Evio - That armour modification sounds useful. And it would certainly test my roleplaying skills to effectively play a mute.

Hm. I was thinking, it's entirely in Molly's personal interest for the plan here to fail, and for the expedition to stop in a month.
Obviously, I won't do it for both OoC and IC purposes, but it might be something the other characters might've thought of.
Heh. Molly and Karma not being completely trustworthy is part of the reason they're on this away mission (or it makes a good IC excuse for them to be on it, anyway.)
I should get a post up tommorow. Working on converting the six fold trial for my other starfinder group and need to set up this refinery properly.
Molly - Karma trusts Molly too much to suspect her of that. She implicitly trusts anyone who seems to be against the system. It's one of her flaws.
Zeni - Sounds about right
Everyone - I doubt I'll post between now and Friday. If you need, Karma will keep making attacks as long as the thing keeps firing. If ordered to stop, she'll grumble a little but obey. GM, I give you permission to roll anything you need from me. Have fun and try to leave some robots for me!
In unrelated news, I'm not impressed with the first attack roll of the campaign.

Because I couldn't get a 20 when rolling attacks on the robot. That wouldn't be fair at all.
