Jen the High Schooler |

Jen's expression says little, but her thoughts are in turmoil.
If I can't trust the words from Yalm, then who can I trust? Is there anything that is fact? What determines which is true and which is not? No, I should not think like this. This world is nothing different from the last. It is true; life is suffering. If I was on track with my past life, then this must be better than our lives at home. The universe wants us to succeed.
Slightly reassured by her internal pep-talk, Jen turns to the shaman.
Is Leorn alright?

Jesus Christ that son of a &*@!^% looking down to the floor He was still a good man, now I know why his own blood called him liar and crazy thinking more a bit of things Also we wouldn't be hunted down like this if there wasn't any true to what we can do
(^*&% Leorn! He is as crazy as Old Yalm but there is probably some more to this, because we wouldn't be hunted like wild game if it wasn't for wat we can actually do.

Salevok leans forward and hangs his head. "You pose a threat, a legitimate threat. You are four of six living sorcerers left in all the land. No one, I mean no one is capable of the kind of power you are capable of wielding. The only question is, without a prophecy to provide comfort, will you still help us? All of us in Kellmanor?" He seems to wait for an answer.

Adina Eyvendr |

"I..." Adina trails off, uncertain until determination shows in her eyes. "I'll still help you. The prophecy didn't provide much comfort anyway, and I've fallen in love with this world and it's beauty. I won't just let someone destroy that because I was lied too."
"But Jen is right. Right now I can only make a faint breeze. We need to learn from the elves."

Frank Castle |

I will help, after all we are here, for whatever reason is no longer important is for survival we must do so pausing briefly thinking to himself then looking again at all his companions We are being hunted regardless of prophecy or not, our option is to help each other for the mutual benefit of survival

Salveok
Salevok speaks softly. "It is good that you have chosen this path. We now have hope for our survival. In this world, Sorcerers are the most powerful beings in the world. One of you has the potential to gain magic power to rival the armies of any normal kingdom. Sorcerers are extinct now. And you are the last. You are gift that no one would see fall. Many who still fight for this world will lay down their very lives to serve and protect you. It is a heavy weight but it is one you have all chosen to bare. Now I shall offer a seeing of the journey ahead. Your road must take you to them Melven nation for it is they alone that can advance your training to greater levels."
He looks at Aiden and nods. "Yes six. You four, Xivasar and his chief officer Drethrum are also sorcerers. You are not yet ready to fight them. That is why you must journey to where you shall be trained. I will now foretell your road ahead."
Suddenly Salevok enters a trance like state. He hangs his head and begins to sway it side to side. He sits up right. "The obelisk. The obelisk lies somewhere on your path. Hidden. If you find it, you will have the opportunity to destroy it. Do so and the power of your allies will double while Xivasar's would be cut in half. Should you miss it, you will find the final conflict very difficult and costly. You may even fail outright." Salevok hangs his head again and begins to sway again.
He straightens up suddenly again. "A dark power is among you but it is an asset, not an enemy. It must be cultivated for it will aid in your survival in many cases on your journey. If it is let alone, many among you WILL die." He slumps for and then begins to sway once more.
He pops up again his eyes glowing. "The mountain! There is a mountain in your path that will prove to be your most challenging foe on this journey. To go over it means to enter the frozen land to face giants. To go around means to increase your journey by double or more. To go under, and your strength of will shall be pushed to it's very limit. All paths are dangerous. Choose wisely or it will lead to the ruin of all."
He slumps forward once more as though he has fallen a sleep. Suddenly he sits up. "I am unaware as to what I have just told you. Trust that the information I gave is accurate and the spirits have spoken through me. I cannot answer any questions about the visions. But there is something I must tell you. You will need to be ready to leave here in a week. No sooner. No later. Once the week is up our army will march to the border of the dark lands. There we will face the gnolls in battle. We will try and open a way through for you and your comrades to get in. It will be a vicious battle so you must prepare yourselves to fight as well. Me and my people will offer whatever training you may need. Now is your chance to ask me any questions you have. If you have none please nod and I will have Kershak see you back to the guest house. Now, any questions?"

Jen the High Schooler |

Actually, I was thinking. The weakness of the bow is that it might become ineffective if the enemy comes to close. Can your people give me some training in how to better harness my strength in close combat?
Power attack
Also, is there a place to purchase a backup weapon? I think I could use a backup melee weapon if the enemy gets to close to me. I might be small, but upon becoming a sorcerer, I have harnessed my strength. I think I could handle a big two-handed weapon; my best defense is my mind, not a shield.

Shanosuke |

Salevok nods. "You can learn anything you need to know here. Our people are very well versed in many arts. Defensive and power are only two of the many abilities we can teach. If you head down and find Kershak he will point you to those you can train you. Those you have come with also have various abilities they can teach. Now do you have any other questions?"

Jen the High Schooler |

Yes; just one. Do all sorcerers have the same potential? I mean, what if it turns out that Xivasar and Drethrum are more powerful than all of us combined.
After she receives her answer, she thanks Salevok and heads down to Kershak, where she asks him where she can purchase a melee weapon and then where she can learn to hit more forcefully with that weapon.

Shanosuke |

Salevok shakes his head. "No. All sorcerer's do not possess the same potential. Drethrum and Xivasar's powers and potentials are greater, however, the power of the elements is best when used as a cohesive unit. Drethrum and Xivasar's powers with conflict with one another but yours will supersede theirs even if they did manage to work together. When you are trained proper, you will be more than a match for them."

Shanosuke |

Okay as far as I understand, Adina wants to be either a Bard or Druid? Is that right? If so Kershak will point her to either one.
As for Jen:
Kershak looks at you. "We have clubss, sspearss, and large curved ssswordss. We do not ssell though. Tell me what you want and I will sssee you have it before the day alsso.
Aiden, Frank, I need to know what you will be doing.
