Glimmil waits, hopeful that Finneas changes his mind if the doctor is in danger and helps him fight the evil woman, or at least loans him the cloak while he's not-quite-himself.

Already cleared with GM Chris last night that Finneas is allowed to do this as the Suggestion doesn't restrict my actions so much as force me take one specific action. If that makes sense. Sadly I did include the +2 for Ward in my Will save but even a +8 does nothing if I roll a 3.
"Here you go Glimmil, maybe you can convince her to behave until I get back. Sorry Dyrant, we'll have to punish her for using big words later."

Toffitt drinks his potion and heads back to the tunnel. He passes underneath the woman and brushes shoulders with Finneas who rushes back to his previous spot.
Glimmil tries to climb the wall without success as Dyrant ascends into the darkness. A dim light returns to the ledge area as the two spells counteract each other and leave the sunrod supreme.
Atol tosses the sunrod (I think an attack roll would appropriate next time for the 50' throw including 25' upwards) up onto the ledge and suddenly everyone can see each other again.
The woman is not pleased with this at all and climbs down toward the sundrod. She stops next to Toffitt though and fires a lightning bolt through him and Finneas.

Dyrant delays for the light to return.
"Thank you, Atol. You serve the Cudgel well."
Dyrant holds up his crossbow trying to find an opening to fire cleanly. Sighing for the lack of an opening, Dyrant lowers his 'bow and instead channels the good fortune of St. Cuthbert into Doctor Toffitt.
Fortune (Su): The witch can grant a creature within 30 feet a bit of good luck for 1 round. The target can call upon this good luck once per round, allowing him to reroll any ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, taking the better result. He must decide to use this ability before the first roll is made. At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. Once a creature has benefited from the fortune hex, it cannot benefit from it again for 24 hours.

Atol presses on with the Spiritual Cudgel (I don't believe I need to see her as the cudgel doesn't change targets unless I tell it to, but I did factor in the 50% miss just in case. Not sure if I should, but the roll is there for you to use if needed...).
