Ardanto Valanto
A rather sad round for Ardanto, the nearest opponent is 25 feet away and I can only move 20 feet in my Breast Plate. My charge route is also blocked.
So just a double move for Ardanto this round to put him right next to Whisper. "Fall back Whisper, no need to get your self any more cut up by these monsters"
If the zombie next to Whisper has been dropped by the time I move, then I will continue moving to put my self one step past Guard, tumbling the last 5 feet to try and avoid the attack of opportunity. This should put me directly below the zombie on the map.
Tumble check to move through a threatened square. (1d20-1=9)
That ain't going to do it.

Lacking other options, Forzakhad creates another orb of force and sends it flying towards the undead. "Slice 'em, dice 'em, bring them down!"
ranged touch attack into melee; mental hammer damage (1d20-3=10, 1d4=3)

Would it be worth adding an action point to that, I have a feeling it will miss unless you can avoid the -4 for melee. We are levelling up soon and the points don't carry over.

slashing halberd and psionic blast dismember the zombie attacking whisper ans an arcane bolt leaves the last headless. Silence now descends and Finn's lights start to fade. Your left alone in the fading light with the wounded the dying and the dead.
combat is over ,there is at lest one left somewhere in the dark

Trust me. the Captain knows what he is doing... *G*
...Seeker's already confirmed that Touch AC 10 was a hit last round, as I was shooting into melee at that time, too, but mentioned the -4 only in the chat room...
"Fnarque. This darned Vanthus! He shoves us down a forgotten island tunnel... and not even having peace here, these abysmal creations of unlife try to shorten our time here to nothing. I will get you, and you will wish you'd have let us go up that ladder again, when I am through with you."

He took that into account..and your DM is showing :}
Guard
After seeing the last undead drop, Guard picks up his heavy flail again, but keeping the halberd on the ready.
Then he goes over to the room with the water, to the north side, looking out for the undead that fleed the battle. He lets the others handle the bodies and wounds, keeping on the watch, peering out in the dark.
Whisper.
Whisper breathes heavily as she holds onto her wounded arm and looks over the carnage around her. Slowly her eyes widen and become more worried as she realises she can't see one of their number. "Where's Ithaniar?" She questions, obviously scared as to what the answer may be.
As Finn speaks worriedly about Ithaniar she rushes through to the room with the water, completely ignoring her own pain. Sinking to her knees beside the elf she looks set to cry, or be sick, or both as she looks over his grievous wounds. "Ith...?" She asks in a pained tone "..please be okay.."
Guard
Guard notices a small thing in the water, glowing a little, but too few to really give of light, so the others did not notice it beforehand, in the magic lighting the room.
Guard bows over, reaching into the water to get the spark out, to get a closer watch on it.
Barely having it on the inside of the hand, the blue glow seemed to float through it, but looking showed that it did not. A strange feeling emerged from the spot where it had touched the warforged, going up his arm, through his chest, finally going throughout all of the constructs body. Guard shivered a little from that sensation.
In the next instant it was but gone, but it had changed the warforged. He had strange memories arising in his head, fighting techniques, weapon uses, tactical gear... some of it he didn't even know what it should represent.
Left was a feeling that he should give himself some time to get 'in touch' with the change he just experienced.
Daurros Erdai
"Finn is right. We know there is at least one more of these undead around, and I wager more. Most of our warriors are hurt, and few of the spells I have prepared are of use against the unliving."
Daurros sighs a bit, and then continues, "I know we are anxious to get out of here, but I am afraid that if we encounter another group of undead like this, several of us will not make it. I suggest that we find a room and 'hole-up' for some time to rest and recuperate as best we can. I can prepare some more effective magic, those injured can tend to their wounds, and if we can bring Ithaniar back to consciousness, all the better. If anyone has any form of magical healing they can provide him, now may be the time to use it."
He then looks around the room. "Of course, we should fully inspect this chamber first, but it may be too large to adequately defend. If we need to rest, the room we came into when we first entered may be the best option. There is only one door, which we may be able to spike closed with a few daggers or other implements."
Regardless of the decision, Daurros will still help in a search through this room.
Whisper.
Giving a small sad sound Whisper rests her head on Ithaniar's chest, listening to his shallow heartbeat and feeling his chest slowly rise and fall for a long moment before sitting up and looking at Daurros as he speaks. "You shouldn't need to use your daggers" she tells him quietly before returning her eyes to the elf, as though scared he'll give up and die if not constantly watched. "I always have some.. tools.. with me.."
Whisper.
"I can't rest" Whisper objects quietly as she stays knelt beside Ithaniar "Not when there's so much danger around, I.. I'll help shut off the door for the entrance tunnel and stay alert with Guard" She promises, hving completely forgotten her own gaping wound in her worry over whether the elven cleric will survive or not.
Ardanto Valanto
Oops left my AllDMsareevil hanging out....
"Whoop! That was exciting," Ardanto looks flushed with excitement and does a little jig, he then stops looks slightly embarrassed as he notices how fatigued his companions are.
"Sorry, you are probably right, rest a while."
"Did someone mention that one ran off? I wonder if it will return?
Ardanto then goes to the pool and checks out the high water tide mark, he wants to ensure that they will not all drown if they rest here a while.
How are you fairing Master Guard, you looked a little distracted then?
Finally Ardanto will take a 20 searching this room, looking for exits or treasure, he is not above taking a dip in the pool to check for treasure. He is full of nervous excitement and can't sit still.
Whisper.
Whisper looks over at Ardanto with big, confused eyes, growing ever more certain that the young swashbuckler is completely insane. 'How can anyone revel in the walking dead and so much injury?' she silently questions as she returns to watching over their elven companion.

The pockets are old moldy and empty ya do mange 7 silver and 12 copper of a design at lest 200 years old out of the rotten cloths. as ya can see more of the room read below.
Four great pillars rise up to support the ceiling, which sags dangerously in places and is thick with hanging stands of fungus. Several doors line the walls-one to the west[from which comes a muffled sloshing sound],two to the north[the western one is damaged and hangs askew with one hinge]and two to the east.to the south the ceiling has collapsed leaving the southern part of the room choked with debris.A rippling pool of water reaches into this room from this wall of rubble. It seems a wooden pier once extended into the pool, but all that remains are rotting wooden pilings protruding from the water. A mans body floats face down among them. the last of the zombies stars at the group with hunger

"How are you fairing Master Guard, you looked a little distracted then?"
"I am okay. I had a little encounter back there, but everything is fine now. If we g... When we are out of here, I will need some time to sort something out, but I am okay now. No need to worry about me." he reassures Ardanto.
Ardanto Valanto
Ardanto lets out another Whoop of excitement and charges the remaining undead.
Ardanto charges the remaining undead (remove +2 if I cannot charge) (1d20+6=19, 1d8+3=10)
Ardanto Valanto
"He didn't say body.. he said ghost. Penkus' ghost" Whisper quietly corrects Ardanto a little fearfully.
Ardanto pokes the corpse with his sword tip, "Hey Penkus, are you a ghost in there?" he gives a little maniacal grin at Whisper and says "I don't think he is coming back to haunt us."
Whisper.
Whisper watches Ardanto, utterly terrified, by both his manic grin and his disrespect of the corpse. "I really hope that isn't his corpse, if there's a chance of a ghost the last thing you want to do is play with it's body" She whimpers "..besides how would you like it if you died down here and the next set of adventurers to be locked down here poked at you like that?" She adds in a choked up whisper, looking close to tears.

Is there a chance that the shapes are fish or more big crabs? What is his best opinion?
either way he is probably going swimming.
"Hey guys, I think there is something in the bottom of this pool remarks Ardanto as he starts stripping off his armour and boots."

"Hey guys, I think there is something in the bottom of this pool remarks Ardanto as he starts stripping off his armour and boots."
"What are you doing?" Whisper questions before realising that she already knows the answer to her question. Without thinking twice she rushes over to Ardanto's side and rests her hand on his arm. "Please don't at least not yet.. we're all hurt enough without you risking yourself. Just wait for long enough for me to dress my arm and I'll come in with you so you're not facing whatever it is alone.." She offers before looking back at Ithaniar, not wanting to leave him alone on the floor but also knowing she can't let the manic swashbuckler go diving alone.
Daurros Erdai
Daurros sees the effects that Ardanto's actions are having on Whisper, and says while smiling, "Don't take his antics too much to heart. Ardanto's intentions are always the best, even if his jokes aren't!"
Daurros will also scan the room with detect magic using it as often as necessary to cover everything. And he focuses on whatever Ardanto sees in the pool, hoping that if anything is magical, its glow would help Ardanto see it better.

Ardanto suddenly seems to snap into a sober mood at Whispers appeal, "I am sorry Whisper, it was thoughtless of me to go risking my self when everyone else is so wounded. I guess that what ever is at the bottom of the pool can wait and maybe the crabs will come to the shore where they are easier to combat. He starts to pull his boots back on before returning his attention to checking the body of Penkus. assuming the body in the pool is Penkus.
If we leave this room, Ardanto brings the two crab corpses with him, claiming that they will taste better than they look with a little seasoning.
Whisper.
Whisper gives a tiny relieved smile, seeming to take comfort in Daurros' reassurances and Ardanto listening to her. "Maybe when we can try fishing whatever it is out when we come out, if we find some rope or line or something.." She suggests shyly "that way nobody has to swim with things that might injure them"
Guard
"Whisper is right, ya know? We all got our dents and bruises, some more, some less, but we all are worn and torn. Let us get some rest. Strange enough that even I insist on getting rest today." the warforged says in the direction of Ardanto, adding the last part under his breath.
Guard
"Surely. Here, take my weapons, I will get him." he answers, reaching the girl the halberd and the flail, then softly grabing Ithaniar.
"You fought well back there, for facing such monstrosities the first time. I assume it was the first time for you?"
Whisper.
Whisper blushes faintly at the compliment and gently hugs Guard's weaponry to herself as they move to somewhere more defensible. "I.. yes" She replies quietly "I mean there was the fights on the Nixie but they were only brief, I've never been in a big fight before. Or this hurt, I.. I mean, you hear stories, but walking dead?! ... " She trails off, really not used to talking to anyone for an extended period.
