Mopbius dashes closer. However as Hudathan closes, he too encounters a mass of tentacles that lash out at him.

TWix pulls out a surprising move, but it is not enough to land a shot on the wierd tentacled orc. However the odd creature does seem shaken by Sovyal's challenge. The Star-Knights own attack is however woeful.

Krombopulos lines up the yellow orc, and plugs him. The orc screams in pain. Magus gets close, but not close enough.

Alas and alack, the last of the half orcs is quickly reduced to ...being somewhat less than half an orc. Maybe one hundredth... honestly its hard to tell. The bits left are kind of small. If you picked them up and weighted them...

But no, keen eyed and quick fingerd Starfinders that you are... such academic thoughts are soon put aside as you continue you search of the room for your stolen weapons.

A quick check of the robot shows it loaded with crates, and a check of the crates indicates a good match with your missing weapons. There is even a friendly "start" button marked up in Drow, Orcish and Common.

It appears the robot has already got a route towards the elevator programmed into it. It starts slowly rolling toward the lift shaft... Just as you are getting your hopes up that this might be a relatively easy extraction...

The forklift robot generates mighty thudding sounds as it starts walking toward the elevator. Suddenly, the sounds are drowned by a shrill screech as ceiling-mounted speaker systems come online. A woman starts speaking, her voice distorted by the voice amplifiers. “You just had to try and steal my guns tonight, of all Elysium-damned nights? If it weren’t for you, I’d still be at this a-maz-ing party…” She pauses abruptly, lets out a resigned sigh, and continues, “Oh, just kill them. Yes, you stupid halforcs, kill the offworlders who are trying to steal my guns! And stop—but don’t destroy—that blasted forklift bot!

Magnus refocuses and closes on the incoming guards. Kromb snaps off a quick shot, catching the guard in the green shirt in his arm. It never pays to be at the front.

Mobius and Hudathan take cover, reading their weapons for whoever is foolish enough to close on them. Twix and Sovyal are just behind. Id sends a bolt of magic at the orc in the pink shirt. He deserved it for his taste in clothing if nothing else.

The guards split into two groups, heading down a couple of the aisles. Mobius punishes the orc in the burning pink shirt. Neither shirt nor orc will never see the light of day. Not that there is much light in Nightarc, now you think about it. Hudathan does the same to its friend. Maybe they will go into the afterlife together, hand in hand.
