Thanks for your patience, everybody. @Buzz: with the way your group has been rolling it's certainly possible, but I think it's probably unlikely. We're on the back 9 now, but still have two big and one small scenes to get through. That said, I'll try to push the tempo so we can maybe squeeze you in under the wire, since this scenario specifically ties into that special.
The android approaches the team of izalguuns as the vesk approaches to join, and the izalguuns nod, placing both outsiders on the same team. Both new players get off to a rocky start, but they quickly begin working together to compensate for their lack of height and speed compared to the physically larger izalguuns, with Obozaya sometimes tossing 701 into the air to catch the discus or get a better vantage point for a throw. After about 10 minutes of play, they finally strike the opposing tree with the discus, and both teams of izalguuns begin using their middle appendages to rhythmically pound the earth.
Their team captain approaches the two new players and extends his hand toward their ranged weapons. Obozaya is initially reluctant, but 701 hands over their weapon. The izalguun turns it over in his hands a few times, then tinkers with the scope and hands it back. Upon peering through it, 701 discovers the izalguun has apparently modified their scope to better use the planet's atmosphere to see around obstacles. Upon sharing it with the vesk, Obozaya eagerly accepts the upgrade as well.
@701 and Obozaya: both of your ranged attacks now gain a +2 bonus on attacks against creatures behind cover for the remainder of this scenario.

Prepared to confront Dr. Monsylkis on the izalguuns' behalf, you return to the Winterharvest camp. As you approach the scaffold tower, one of the rhyphorian guards spots you and waves to you, then starts circling his arms in a beckoning motion. As you approach the walls, he shouts down from over the racket. "Starfinders! Dr. Monsylkis went off campus looking for you, she wanted to talk about your ship! She said you should come wait in here until she gets back!"

"Why wait here, instead of the main camp?"
Nevertheless, he (cautiously) approaches the tower.
The scaffold tower is a barrier stationed in the choke point that allows access to the rest of the camp through the icy hills. You could certainly ignore the guards and walk past the tower, but they are making a point to reach out to you.
Omen-Seeker nods to the guards as his allies approach the gates to the tower, but he senses that something is off. Their tone is hard to read over the noise of the generators, but they don't sound sincere.
One of them shouts back to Obozaya. "You want to wander around the woods looking for her? She'll be right back and she knows where this place is! Just come wait inside!"

He drops his rifle and draws a taclash, whipping toward the kasatha, but Ruuk catches the weapon and prevents any damage. The guard screams into his comm unit, "Backup! Now!"

The combat over, Obozaya activates the holoprojector on her back, sending her personalized holographic war-banner up over her shoulder.
She turns back to the antenna, looking around.
"Anyone have any explosives? Maybe we take this thing down! she rumbles. "Or at least someone shut it off?"
Figure is moved where I currently plan to be, but I do think we have 30 seconds to try to start changing things up on them. If they want the projector on, we want it off, I think.
