Altus Mareva
Altus was a few steps behind Jerrica. It wouldn't do for a cleric of Sarenrae to be greedy, but if there was enough beds for everyone Altus wanted one as well. He had rather had his fill of sleeping under bushes.
Raef'finan Melisteara
As the new-formed group moves through the town to the Rusty Dragon, Raef is content to observe the hustle and bustle, quietly happy that he wasn't being stalked by agents of his father.
Upon seeing the inside of the inn as busy as outside he asks - no one in particular - "It seems like every body in town is out and about. What's so special about today?"
Jerrica DeLamis
"Hello, Miss Kaijitsu, a very lovely and interesting name, might I say," Jerrica opens. "We were wondering if you had any rooms available? Tassira, do you mind sharing with me? Oh, and if you also know if anyone needs help. We could use a little extra coin..."
The ranger blushes at the last bit, but quickly straightens her clothes to maintain some professionalism.

Tassira Vantyev
Tassira chuckles at Jerrica's blushing. "I'd be happy to."
She turns to Ameiko, briefly noting how attractive she is. "I don't suppose you know of anyone who's hiring?"
Altus Mareva
Altus turned to Raef'finan as Jerrica engaged the hostess.
"Well, I know part of it has to do with the cathedral. It was recently completed and is going to be consecrated. I only caught a glimpse of the building on the way in to town, but it looked quite impressive. I'm sure word of it has spread up and down the coast here. Maybe further. Why, I heard about it in Nybor."
It felt nice to be around people again. Altus had been traveling for weeks all by himself. He wondered briefly if the others minded him interjecting himself into the group, but they didn't give any indication of annoyance. Maybe as fellow travelers they felt the same way he did.

"Of course, most of the rooms at the Rusty Dragon are empty, but a pair could certainly be arranged for you all." She smiles again, and for things that you should look at in town... The Festival and the new Temple of course
She carries herself with the grace of a warrior as she heads upstairs
Tassira Vantyev
Tassira stretches, rather relieved to hear the Rusty Dragon has some rooms available. "At least it's not in a rickety wagon. I'd LOVE to sleep under some clean sheets."
Altus Mareva
Altus followed as well. A bed did sound nice, but then again, the festival was still in full swing.
"Well, its nice to know that the town was prepared for the influx of visitors. But personally, before I collapse into a pillow, I think I'll check out the festival some more."
Jerrica DeLamis
"I wasn't planning on sleeping just yet," Jerrica says. "Just thought it'd be nice to make sure our lodgings were in order."

Tassira Vantyev
Tassira looks at her feet as the roguish-looking gentleman asks the two of them out.
"Well, why not?" She makes no move to set her belongings down just yet--they hadn't yet worn her back out.
Jerrica DeLamis
Jerrica chuckles as Tassira's answer practically mirrors her own, then she addresses Eleazar. "I don't believe we caught your name, sir."
She looks back to Altus and Raef. "Are you coming along as well?"
Altus Mareva
Altus took a quick look in his room but decided not to drop off his pack either. If he purchased some souvenirs he wanted a place to put them. He considered getting out of his armor but didn't want to make the group wait for him. Might as well leave that on too.
"Yeah, sure," Altus said. "A festival is more fun in a group."
Eleazar Wheelock
Eleazar will drop off his backpack in his room.
Slightly shocked at himself that he forgot to propely introduce himself he turns to the rest of the group.
How could I have forgotten, I believe introductions are in order. I am Eleazar Wheelock. I decided to leave Magmnimar to seek new opurtunities and fortune.
Jerrica DeLamis
"A pleasure, Mister Wheelock, I am Jerrica DeLamis," the ranger introduces herself. "You're from Magnimar as well? I can understand your decision to leave...I've had my fill of that city for a while."
Death_Keeper
The festival is a boisterous affair, when compared to the larger cities it is not that impressive, but the simple country folk are usually very quiet and composed, and today they are just letting it all go. There is free food and drink as the inns and taverns advertize themselves. There are great swathes of courtyard that are filled with lengthy trestle tables, packed with an everchanging flow of people.
The games and entertainent of the festival should also be noted. There are gamblers and games of chance, right along side of games of skill or strength, like tug of war, an archery game, and horseshoe tossing.
The laughter of children and adults fill the air over the general rumble of conversation.
Jerrica DeLamis
Jerrica spots the archery contest and turns to Tassira. "Uhm, I think I'll participate in that. You don't have to come, if you don't want to."
Her tone is a little pleading, but she keeps herself reserved, though the excitement of testing her skill against others causes her heart to beat quickly.
Altus Mareva
Altus looked over the rows of activities.
"Archery? Well, I should probably stay away from that lest I riddle the nearby buildings and festival goers with arrows," he said with a self-deprecating smirk. "I'll watch you though, Jerrica. And then maybe onto the horseshoes for me. That's probably more my speed."
Jerrica DeLamis
Jerrica gives her bowstring a couple good pulls before she nocks an arrow.
First Shot:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 (+1 if the target's within 30 feet)
She watches as the arrow flies straight up and lands about three inches from her feet. "Oh dear..."
She nocks another arrow and shakes her head. Come on, you can do this...
Second Shot:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 (+1 if it's within 30 feet)
The second shot is much better, allowing Jerrica to sigh with relief. At least, she didn't look like a complete fool.
Of course I had to roll a 1. Still, that's a 1 that didn't happen in combat.
Death_Keeper
Her first shot is mocked and jeered at by the watching crowd, but Jerrica redoubles her efforts and nails the second ring. The people gathered are stunned, and then cheer. While her second shot was impressive, it was not good enough to net her one of the prizes offered.
This is fair, do you guys think?
any other game or activity you would like to participate in just tell me
Jerrica DeLamis
Sounds fair to me.
Jerrica is a little disheartened at first, but, Tassira's applause and the cheers of the crowd, brighten her spirits. "You couldn't have done worse than me, Altus."
She smiles and waits to see what everyone else wants to do.
Altus mentioned horseshoes.
Raef'finan Melisteara
Raef nods in agreement.
"I was never much good with a bow anyways," he says. "I once had an archery instructor who had some very, um, unkind things to say about my parentage based on my marksmanship."
Altus Mareva
"I dunno Jerrica," Altus said with a grin. "I'm with Tassira on this one. Archery is easier when you let the mechanism of a crossbow fire for you."
Altus looked over the crowds until he spotted the horseshoe games and gestured toward them.
Raef'finan Melisteara
"Hmm..." Raef's brows furrow as he considers Tassira's question. "I've never tried to throw my sword before, usually it's just been knives and hatchets.
"A sword's not meant for throwing, but I wonder..."
Jerrica DeLamis
Jerrica doubles over laughing. "Let's stick with horseshoes."

Jerrica tests the weight of a horseshoe before giving it a toss.
1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
"I'll stick with arrows from now on..."

Raef'finan Melisteara
Raef tests the weight of the horseshoe, trying to get a feel for the thing's heft. He closes one eye and lines up his shot before tossing the iron shoe.
Throw: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
