"I hate to leave you like this Speaker Winston, but time is moving and you have the militia and the help of many others in your caravan. Hopefully our journey to Rhest won't take as long as we think and we can meet up again halfway, or at the very least draw in some of their forces for you." He gives a salute to the wise speaker, "We will take your words of elves into account, I don't have many dealings but Seltazar and Tal may have."

Bran gives one final wave and looks to stock up for the journey ahead.

A commotion in the street wakes you in the middle of the night!
"Awake! Awake! Goblins attacking the west bank!" someone cries.
From your window, you can see bright flames leaping up from houses and buildings on the other side of the river and hear the faint roar and crackle of distant flames.

You see guards running to the Old Toll House, where Captain Soranna is mustering troops to take the ferry over. The ferrymen are harnessing the horses to their hawsers. By the time you get there, the ferry is ready to launch.

The guard captain is clearly tired, but on her feet and moving quickly.
"I don't know if they were stuck on this side of Skull Gorge Bridge, or made their way around, or were flown over by a manticore or dragon. But they're here now and we have to deal with them. There are alarms in a few directions; I'll head north along the bank with my men, if you can head west to the road." She departs with her soldiers.

You've only just gotten organized and started up the road when you spot a trio of goblin worg riders dashing down the street, whooping and shaking their bows in the air. A hell hound rides alongside them.

Note: this is a midnight raid, which is bad for most spellcasters. Any spells cast in the 8 hours before spell preparation will count against the next day's total. And, the interruption of sleep means that arcane prepared casters won't be able to prepare new spells at all, just keep the ones they had before until they get 8 hours rest. This make night raids a very good tactic for harassing enemies that use magic.

Seeing the enemy before them, Mikail swiftly prays, and then touches her companion's weapons, leaving a silver mark on each as the blessing from Iomedae grants their weapons greater puissance against the evil creature they are facing.

Mikail will use as many Good Blessings (see below) as possible during her turn to enhance her comrade's weapons, including her own. She has 6 blessings she can bestow

Holy Strike:

Holy Strike (minor): At 1st level, you can touch one weapon and bless it with the power of purity and goodness. For 1 minute, this weapon glows green, white, or yellow-gold and deals an additional 1d6 points of damage against evil creatures. During this time, it’s treated as good for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction. This additional damage doesn’t stack with the additional damage from the holy weapon special ability.

Warpriest blessings are a standard action unless noted otherwise. So you could bless one weapon, if that is what you still wish to do.

It's a standard action, and you can't turn your move action into a second standard. So you've blessed Tal'ariel's weapon (her Elven Curve Blade or her bow? Whichever she has out, I guess).

Bran hops up and down in his mithral, eying the enemies ahead. He's unsure if they were too late on returning back, but it doesn't matter now, all that matters is that there is a force here and that they need to remove them quickly.

Glad he was able to sleep in the lightweight mithral armor, he turns to his companions, "Lets do this right and proper, the clock is ticking."

So you do have Haste - that's fantastic!

Suddenly moving remarkably fast, Tal'ariel zips around behind the goblin riders. He goes after the same warg that Bran has attacked--hoping to then strike the rider with the same stroke.

Move and Cleave. AC=22 due to cleave and haste. @GM Zelligar--I think you already know this, but Tal'ariel has both Cleave and Cleaving Finish. Cleave gives her a second attack if the first one hits. Cleaving Finish gives her a free attack once per round if she knocks a target to 0 or fewer HP. So in general, I will roll these theoretical options without necessarily knowing which attacks trigger.

Attack vs. Warg, Haste, Flank: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 2 + 1 = 30; Damage, Sneak Attack, Holy Strike: 1d10 + 10 + 3d6 ⇒ (5) + 10 + (5, 1, 1) = 22

The worg rider tries to moves his mount to dodge Bran's attack:
Mounted Combat: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
However, he fails and the greataxe cuts into the worg.
Then Tal'ariel runs around and finishes the beast.
Ride Check DC 15 to land on feet: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Her sword continues through, wounding the rider and another goblin badly, although both are still conscious.
No Sneak Attack damage to the goblin you hit with Cleaving Finish - the middle one - since nobody is flanking him with you. 22 points to each goblin.
Thom and Shishka are up!

mockery:

At 1st level, the prankster can use his performance to cause one or more creatures to become furious with him. Each creature to be mocked must be within 90 feet, able to see, hear, and understand the prankster, and capable of paying attention to him. The prankster must also be able to see the creatures affected. For every three levels the prankster has attained beyond 1st, he can target one additional creature with this ability.
Each creature within range receives a Will save (DC 15) to negate the effect. If a creature’s saving throw succeeds, the prankster cannot successfully mock that creature for 24 hours. If its saving throw fails, the creature is angered by the performance and seeks to harm the prankster. While the prankster maintains the mocking, the target takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and skill checks until it has successfully attacked the prankster with a melee or ranged attack, or has harmed the creature with a spell that deals damage.

While this is a foregone conclusion, we are still in rounds because reasons.

Bran tries to maintain his hold on the worg and attempts to strangle it out; though the canine movements make it hard to keep down with one hand.
Maintain (1H): 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22

Thom takes one long stride toward Bran and the restrained warg. He mercilessly looks down on the creature as he thumps it over the head twice with his club.

Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Damage: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 6) + 5 = 17

Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Damage: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 6) + 5 = 13

Two solid blows from Thom's mighty cudgel make short work of the worg.

You can still hear sounds of battle, as Captain Soranna and the guards are engaging goblins elsewhere. It sounds like a number of small skirmishes.

Still in rounds; Seltazar, Mikail, and Shishka to act.

Male Middle-aged Elf Witch (Ley Line Guardian) 6 | Active Effects: | HP: 54/54 (6 temp) | AC 17 (T13, FF 14) | CMB: +1 CMD: 14 | F:+6 R:+6 W:+8 | Init +3 | Perception +10, Intimidate +13 | Speed 35 ft. | Conduit Surge 5/5 | Flight Hex 6/6 | Spells: 1st 2/8, 2nd 4/6, 3rd 1/4

The tall elf frowns at the further commotion and sighs... again. Calling once more on the cold power within, his feet suddenly lift off the ground. "I will be back... perhaps." With a surprising speed, Seltazar lurches into the sky above and surveys the surrounding area.

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

Activate flight hex and fly up 45' (90' fly speed including haste, half speed to ascend). Not enough actions to make an active perception check but I rolled just in case. If needed, I'll start next round with that instead.

I don't think an active Perception check is needed for this.

Seltazar:

You can see about forty yards away, the worg-rider talking to a group of five hobgoblins (four in chainmail and one in a tunic) and pointing in your direction. The apparent leader of the group, the one in the tunic, looks in that direction, sees you, and begins moving the group towards the party. The worg-rider continues heading away from the town.
Suddenly the leader vanishes!
Spellcraft, 111'-120': 1d20 + 14 - 11 ⇒ (1) + 14 - 11 = 4
Seltazar thinks he cast a spell, but at this distance it is hard to tell which one. By the effect, probably Invisibility or something like it.

Female Aasimar War Priestess of Iomedae 6 | HP 78/78 | AC 24, T 11, FF 22 | CMD 18 | F+10, R+3, W+11 (+2 vs {evil}, +2 vs PPP.) | Init +1 | Perc +6 | Dark Vision 60'

Mikail will continue to look for enemies to battle.

Mikail, Shishka, you can see that Tal'ariel is rather wounded. Seltazar is also a potential healer but he is up in the air.

Noticing her wounded comrade, Mikail turns to give aid to the wounded elf.

Sorry Tal, I did not see how badly wounded you were. Here this should help!"

Fervor: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2

Gah..that sucked...will do it again!

Fervor: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8

Shishka goes to see if Mikail has taken care of things. is she gonna be alright? I know a little healing magic. she asks a little concerned.

CLW if needed: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Mikail's second Fervor will take effect next round. Tal'ariel gets 6 HP back from the first Fervor and Shishka's spell.
Skirmishes continue around you. Tal'ariel's wounds heal a bit from her comrades' efforts, though there may not be time for her preferred wand to have its full effect before more foes are upon you.

New round - Everyone can act
Mikail uses her healing power again (and Tal'ariel regains another 8 HP).

Male Middle-aged Elf Witch (Ley Line Guardian) 6 | Active Effects: | HP: 54/54 (6 temp) | AC 17 (T13, FF 14) | CMB: +1 CMD: 14 | F:+6 R:+6 W:+8 | Init +3 | Perception +10, Intimidate +13 | Speed 35 ft. | Conduit Surge 5/5 | Flight Hex 6/6 | Spells: 1st 2/8, 2nd 4/6, 3rd 1/4

Seltazar swoops quickly back down, calling out a warning. "There are more foes incoming. Prepare yourselves." Noticing the wounded elf, seemingly for the first time, Seltazar frowns and reaches within for that cold, comfortable power, and draws it forth into Tal'ariel. Still hovering slightly above the group, the tall elf whispers, seemingly to himself, "No time to waste." His soft smile seems to imply some kind of inside joke.

Healing Hex: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 6 = 14

This is round 4/6 of Haste. Two more rounds after this.

GM and Tal'ariel:
It fits my vision of Seltazar if the healing power feels cold as it washes through Tal'ariel and while effective, leaves her feeling somewhat uncomfortable about it. Totally up to you guys if that's ok or not.

HP 59/88 - AC 27 (T16, F23, -3 Buckler, -2 Rage) - CMD 26 (+4 v. Grp, +2 v. Trp) - F+15, R+10, W +6 (+2 Fear) - Init +4 - Per +11 - LLV, DV 60' - Rage 13/16 - AR 8/8 - Flex 1/7 - Res Cold/Elec 5 - DR 1 - Insp 6/11

"Do we take the fight to them or are they already on their way?" Bran looks around, "I am ready for either."
