"eloquently expressed"
Well that is a first for me. As an autistic, I find it usually difficult to be clear with the written word. :)
Don't worry, your head should feel right again rather soon. Actually, getting mine removed was interesting. Apparently when they tell you to count backward from 10 as they put you under, I'm the only one to make it to the number 3. The lady said it was rare for anyone to reach 5. :)
In any case, get well.

LOL, thanks, getting better, and those rascally wisdom teeth needed popping out :)
Estela Medial
Yeah wisdom teeth aren't that smart to get. It was a pain to get rid of mine. I was so funny loopy with the anesthesia it should have been videoed. I've been really happy I had it done.

I'll be away for a few days, but I should be able to post. Feel free to bot me if needed to move things along.
Shon'dar Akbad
No problem. Looking forward to getting started!

intelligence vs. DC13, guidance: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
intelligence vs. DC13, guidance: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
percentile: 1d100 ⇒ 65
What is your policy on taking 10? Its not relevant to me here, since Shon'dar has an INT of 10, but I'm curious for going forward--I usually prefer to take 10 on checks I think my character is likely to succeed at.

How about Warpriest? Are we considered clerics for this?
Int DC 13: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Int DC 13: 1d20 ⇒ 1
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Yes, glorious RNG! Pour your blessings over me! I am but a humble servant of yours!
In case Warpriests roll again too: 1d20 ⇒ 13
d100: 1d100 ⇒ 47

Int: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Int: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

I'm fine with taking 10's as long as there is no penalty for failure.
It's better to get your bad rolls out now then later. :p
Thanks!

Sorry about slow response, I've been working crazy. 70+ hours this week so far. Oh and another 10 spent on commute. Still got two days to go, though theoretically, next week will be back to normal.

Rumor:Many back entrances to the most famous of dungeons are said to lie in the wilderness, but the hills are so riddled with caves that finding these entrances is all but impossible if one knows not where to look
Rumor:A group of adventurers calling themselves the Fire Hawks recently left on an expedition to Rappan Athuk and have not returned. It is said their leader carried with him an artifact of great power
Don't worry about it.

Hope it nothing too serious, good luck whatever the case :)

@Shon'dar I hope things work out for you.
@Triela That seems to be happening to some people. I've got another PbP that other's have missed new game play notifications.

Bracers of Falcon's Aim just got nerfed in Ultimate Equipment Errata. Will you let me either keep the old effect or swap it out for something else?

Quick Runner's shirt to, though I think the new version is better and still decent value - it just means it is for Sum rather than Roban.
Shon'dar Akbad
On my phone right now. If you go to the Ultimate Equipment page in the Paizo store they have a link to the changes in the product description. i can give you the gist though.
Old version: you are constantly under the effect of the Falcon's Aim spell
New version: you may cast Falcon's Aim 1/day with a 1-minute duration
Cost is unchanged at 4k...

If you go here, just below the product description there is a link after "First Printing to Second Printing (v1.0)" to download the errata. On page 4 of the errata, the change to the bracers is near the bottom of the page, and it reads: "In bracer’s of falcon’s aim, change the final sentence to “Once per day, on command, the wearer gains the benefits of aspect of the falcon for 1 minute. The wearer must wear these bracers continuously for 24 hours before activating this ability.”"
Shon'dar Akbad
I assume that "on command" means it's a standard action--I'm not familiar with the rules for magic items in that regard.

I was talking to some people at PaizoCon who have played this. They wished us luck, and said prepare to die. One of the players sometimes runs this as a tournament. They make 5 characters and the last one standing wins.

LOL Dungeon of Graves, at least Kwin has one ready :)

Yeah, I'm ready. And my posting rate will increase too, now that finals are gone.
Also, I speak for myself but I do expect to die so no hard feelings will be held. Afterall Rappan Athuk is THE meat grinder dungeon.
Shon'dar Akbad
I'm hoping to make it a little while before dying, but... If Shon'dar does I'll just get to make a new character.

I am sort of hoping the whole eidolons being expendable, because even if they die they come back the next day and there death opens up the very decent summon monster backup, will help a little. Roban can press weird buttons lead the way, etc.
Summer Meritt
If someone has to do it is it really cruel to send the one individual that has no chance of permanently dying? Not talking about a sacrificial summon monster, but an AC 30 eidolon with +16 perception, plus as an intelligent creature who basically looks at Sum as a spoilt daughter and plays the role of bodyguard. If I was running him as a player, which I basically am, he would be volunteering for the role, understanding that while death is a temporary inconvenience for him it is much more serious for his comrades.
Summer Meritt
In case that is not sarcasm, this is supposedly one of the most brutal dungeons in existance, players are generally encouraged to have multiple characters ready to go. I am told its not really concerned with being fair either, so my paranoia is stoked.
Shon'dar Akbad
I prefer regular initiative, but just going by posting order within blocks of allies.
