Malavine tossed her Starknife in an attempt to finish the little beastie off.

Is there a way I might be able to draw the horde of hands into our direction, away from the civilians?

They don't seem particularly intelligent; you'd have to offer them a more tasty target than the weak civilians they are already "feasting" on (aka strangling them).
The Gnome
Hickle snaps his fingers, getting an idea at the same time while casting magical caltrops to form right next to him. He then proceeds to fall unto the ground, and start shouting."Alas! I've fallen and I can't get up! I sure hope that no hands stop chasing after those fast, agile moving targets and come after me, a poor defenseless and imobile old man!"
"Master! What are you-!?"
"Hush! Just shoot them as they get closer!"
Shmick hesitates, but does as his master asks, readying his musket to fire at the hands who might start to approach.

Shmick waits until the hand steps onto the arcane shards, before letting loose with his weapon.

Oh, sorry yea I figured I'd put it in spoilers since it was said under her breath, but the chance they heard her or not would be up to you. I don't particularly mind if they hear her, just was an aesthetics thing, since she's whispering to herself.

Ah, okay.
Hickle: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28
Malavine: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Hickle definitely hears Zelda's mumbles...that is, just before Shmick's gun goes off and blows one hand straight to hell.
Malavine is too busy chopping the hand Kephry hit in half with her Starknife.
Hand 1: Blown to hell
Hand 2: Chopped in half

Hand 12: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 on bystander

Swearing at the things, and really wishing she could Channel, Malavine hurled her Starknife again at whoever looked to be in the most danger.

With a groan, Shmick moves forward, firing his musket at another of the undead limbs himself.

Zelda and Shmick both take out one additional hand. Hickles' crossbow shot hits, but does not destroy it's target.
Will post the hand's movement and attacks later this evening; don't have their information with me at the moment.

Hand 4: Shot through by Zelda

Hickle is now grappled.
Kephry is grappling one and may attempt to pin or...do something else.
Top of round, party may act.
Malavine
"Doing OK there, Hickle?" Malavine tossed the Starknife at the next on her list, trying to save another person.

Kephry hisses loudly in anger at the hand, smashing it against the ground in hopes that it stops moving so she can move on to the next problem facing her and the party.

"Ack-! Get your grubby fingers off me!" Hickle shouts, as he futility tries to break free of it's grasp.

Zelda's shot goes wide, and Hickle is unable to free himself.
At this point, the remaining hands do their work.
Hand 6: Arrowed by Hickle (but still "alive") Spends round crushing the windpipe of its victim.

Well, the old Gnome could still talk, so he was likely OK for now. Instead she focused on another one attacking a bystander.

A guttural howl escapes Kephry as she continues to smash the thing into the sand over and over again, searching for a large enough rock to shatter the hand on so she could move on to another hand to smash.
The Gnome
How much choking damage? And yes, Shmick has Precise Shot.

How much choking damage? And yes, Shmick has Precise Shot.
It's listed, 2. There was no need to roll, 2 is the only possible result for their damage. That said, since Shmick did hit, and kill it first, you do not take that 2.

We've been stuck a while, I'm going to move this on.
Zelda destroys yet another crawling mummified hand with her shot, and shortly thereafter, the rest are cleared out.
After this initial wave of undead, things calm down slightly—at least in the area. The howls of rotting lungs and screams of mortal fear echo across the city, and it quickly becomes clear that the Sunburst Market isn’t the only location under siege.
The Gnome
"Swet mistress of all things clockwork and bronze... what hell hat been wrought? Girls, we must do something quickly before whole of the city has been destroyed!"
Kephry
The catfolk pants heavily, undead ichor staining her hands as she returns to to the fore, the sudden dismissal of primal rage leaving her drained.
Yeah... yeah, you're right, she huffs, listening to see where the worst of the fear is coming from. Do we think we have time to go pick up a couple things? If not, I'm ready to go, I'll beat 'em all back to death with my fists, she says while offering up her gloved hand as way of proof.
Malavine
"It looks like we'll find chaos in whichever direction we go," Malavine noted, "So grabbing what you need will just give us more of a chance to help."
rando1000
After some further (off-screen) struggles in the streets of Wati, you make it back to the Tooth and Hookah and gather the rest of your adventuring equipment. At this point, it's very late in the evening. While there is still danger in the streets, rest may be in order.
Your choice, of course.

{b]"I'm okay with moving on, or resting."[/b]
Kephry
I would hate for people to suffer because of my inaction, so I am ready to go, the catfolk states while hefting her terbutje onto her shoulder and breathing a deep sigh.
rando1000
Moving back into the streets, the party seeks out a way to help. The opportunity comes after only a few minutes, but not in the way our heroes had anticipated, and from a very unlikely source.
A panicked voice alerts everyone to the situation, but it takes several seconds to realize the cry is coming not from anyone on the streets or one of the windows, but from a tiny bird, flitting about the streets.
"Heeeeeelp!" the creature screams, alternating Osiriani and Common, scanning the streets for anyone who will listen.
Malavine
Squinting at the creature, Malavine asked, "A familiar?" It seemed the only likely option, anyway. She moved towards the panicked creature, and said in common, "What help do you need?"
rando1000
Perched awkwardly, this strange songbird stares with a glint of intellect in its empty eyes. A plaster mask topped with the symbol of a holy sun conceals its face, while two pairs of wings ruffle over its body’s somber shades.
"Please! Please!" it shouts excitedly. "I am called Qasin. My friend is in serious trouble! He's been captured by some very bad men in masks, while investigating a most urgent matter! I'm afraid they will kill him!"
The Gnome
"Marvelous! Are you a familiar by chance, or-"
"Not the time master."
"Ah, well, yes." The gnome mutters sheepishly. "Please, lead the way!"
Zelda Marie Lupescu

Zelda follows, also fascinated by the bird's nature.
rando1000
Qasin leads you west, into the district known as The Veins. Wati’s harbor district stacks block upon block with woodcarvers, tar kilns, warehouses, and whatever shanties can be crammed between them. It's the perfect place for crime and illicit activity to flourish, and provides a quick escape route to the River Sphinx.
The heroes battle through a few inconsequential zombies on their way, many of whom appear to have left their previous life through questionable means, from being drowned in the river to being stabbed in an alley and left to rot.
Qasin stops in front of an old storefront, seemingly not in service for several years. It appears to have been a brickyard, where clay and mud are mixed and baked into bricks for construction in the city and elsewhere in Osirion, but it is long abandoned.
Kephry
This seems like an odd place, are you sure it's right? Kephry asks, suddenly wondering about the wisdom of following an unknown creature to an obviously questionable part of town. She grips her weapon tighter, on the look out for any traps that may be around the corners.
The Gnome
"Nonsense! Why would a sapient bird mislead us in such a way?" The gnome scoffs.
Eyes glowing dangerously, Shmick thumbs Stormbreaker as he looks to the bird. "Counter point: Why would a sapient bird in turn tell us the truth?"
