King Markadian V
Tinn stabs into the guard near him, while Null takes a different approach and demonstrates an ancient Duergar technique to remove a person's internal organs without cutting into the body. It's quite an achievement.
The guard near Tinn throws down his club and falls to his knees, "Please, spare me, I have a wife and kids in town! I beg you!"
Meanwhile the guard near Fantomos beats at him with his club, managing to strike him. 3 subdual
Blackerly comes up to the guard holding the dog and yells at him, "Get in there and help you sorry pile of feces!" Taking the reins he backhands him once before the guard moves up, sheathing his sword and drawing his club.
Firetongue up shifts over and blasts at the guard joining in. The firebolt strikes him dead on.
Party up.

Or I miss both times...

Leaving the cowering guard to Tinn and the goblin, Null turns and grimly moves forward to destroy another human.
Move action to move 15 ft northward towards a guard. Standard action to attack the guard directly in front of Null with the longsword, gripped in two hands.

Null and Tinn drop two more of the guards in our villains counterattack!
Blackerly kicks hard the dog he's holding, sending the animal running back into it's pen. He then proceeds to move up to the guard fell by Null and begins to berate his bleeding form. "You piece of garbage, what's the point of lying down bleeding when you can bleed on them, you hear me?"
The guard turns towards Blackerly, then proceeds to run. "This is insane!" Draws AoOs from our villains.
Firetongue moves towards Grumblejacks form and uses the wand on him, stabilizing the ogre.
Party up.

Fantomos senses something is up with Blackerly, but since it's seemingly in his favor, he shrugs and continues his assault.
Sensing Blackerly's Motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18
The seemingly lazy swipe to the fleeing guard's backside instead caught the inside of his trailing leg. Judging by the regular squirts of blood, it doesn't look like he's going to make it.
Power Chop AO on fleeing guard: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 251d8 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
A 5 ft step up brings Blackerly in range.
Finally, some payback for the acid brand!
"You're mine Blackerly!"
Power Chop on Blackerly: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 171d8 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Confirming Crit on fleeing guard: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 151d8 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Not sure if the crit confirmed on the fleeing guard, but it might if he's full out running in panic. You know, arms in the air means his shield isn't blocking my attack, and it's hard to dodge when you're wetting yourself ;) I might have hit Blackerly, not sure.

Seeing a clear path to Blackerly, Null steps up and attacks.
5 ft step north. Standard action to attack Blackerly with the Longsword gripped in two hands.
Longsword attack: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 211d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10
After the solid hit, Null yells:
"Fool human, if you tell me where my black sword is and I may spare your life!"
Seargent Blackerly
A coward, but no fool, Blackerly recalls Tinn's action against the surrendering guard. He strikes at the dhampir as he attempts to get past him with his blade before trying to bolt. "Warden, warden, intruders!! We need help!!"
A failed acrobatics check means you don't move and provoke an AoO. Technically you would still have a standard though. Blackerly atacked you and missed as his AoO.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13; 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Fantomos
He'll fall before our might. Yes.
Fantomos jeers at Blackerly, taking advantage of the opening given.
"You'll never escape, never!"
AO on Blackerly: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 221d8 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Solid hit.
King Markadian V
This entire floor is dedicated to the history of the Castle Branding and the subsequent history that led the castle to become Branderscar Prison. It consists of a series of mostly uninteresting plaques that tell of nobles and deeds hardly anyone remembers anymore. There are a number of banners and flags.
Firetongue
Firetongue moves up to Blackerly and attempts to stabilize the man. "Now you live, not time to die, but if you do, I'll eat your face like a pie!"

Heal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Fantomos
Fantomos "assists" the Goblin by relieving Blackerly of his sword and armor. A quick swig from a bottle labeled "in case of emergency" helps to revitalize him.
Potion of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
It's going to take a few minutes for me to swap armor.
Fantomos
"The warden Blackerly was calling out to is most likely in this tower. We should take care of him and any other survivor before we burn this place to the ground."
Some loot wouldn't be bad either.
-Null-
With Blackerly stabilized, Null has but one thing to say to him:
"Human, it is now time you tell me where my black sword is. If you refuse to answer, your life will become much more painful."
Fantomos
"Unless you have some crazy mind powers duegar, questioning humans usually works better when they're conscious."
Black sword he says... perhaps there are more confiscated goods here. That way I won't want the black sword too.
-Null-
"Hmm, you are correct Fantomos. Perhaps I am just too anxious to retrieve what is mine. Either way, the human has failed to answer me, and a promise is a promise."
With a couple quick slices, Null cuts off one of Blackery's arms at the elbow, and cuts one ear off Blackerly's head.
Seargent Blackerly
As the knife comes close, Blackerly looks up to the villains surrounding him. Seeing the Duergar's face he starts to yell, but then begins to cough up blood before a sound escapes. "What...what do you want?" It's obvious the pain and strain make him a foe at your mercy.
Con: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Firetongue
"Spleen and heart and guts and liver, die he will not nor will his lips quiver." Firetongue treats Blackerly, and sedates him enough so he won't be a problem for another hour.
Heal Take 10: 10 + 3 + 2 = 15
Fantomos
Fantomos looks directly over Blackerly's face, his body turned so he sees him upside down.
"Now Sgt Blackerly... let us have a little chat. First, you will tell us about the Warden. Where he's at, what defenses he has, his combat capabilities... all of the juicy details. Next, how many people are here, because we don't want to miss anybody. Also, locations of where you keep the valuables and equipment. You had better be truthful and exact, or I'll be very upset." Fantomos licks up a bit of Blackerly's blood, tastes it, and says, "Not bad, you eat a lot of pork don't you?"
Intimidate: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (1) + 19 = 20
Seargent Blackerly
"There's only two men left, guarding the forward gatehouse. The warden's one of them spellcaster types. Likes his books, sticks to em. Has a huge library up there and always has his nose in one of those things. Most of the equipment's in the storeroom and the armory. There's a locked chest under my bed, here's the key. Just let me go, it's all yours."
Fantomos
Fantomos takes the key.
"Oh you'll be going..."
With us... hehehe.
With a jolt to the noggin, Fantomos knocks Blackerly out.
"We'll collect him later when we are gathering our hard earned winnings. We may need an extra pack mule."
Fantomos looks to the rest of the group, seeing if they are ready to deal with the Warden.
-Null-
"Well done Tiefling."
"I think the sooner we can eliminate the warden of this place the better- especially if he knows of magic. Time will only allow him to prepare."
"From the strength your blow do you believe we should lock Blackery up in a cell before we go? Or do you think he will be unconscious long enough for us to deal with this warden."
Fantomos
"Well if we hogtie his remaining hand to one of his feet, he shouldn't get too far if he wakes up. Here, we can use his belt."
Fantomos begins hogtying Blackerly, and once finished, prepares to ascend the tower with the rest of the group.
Warden Richter
Tinn opens the door revealing an old man dressed in nightclothes. An owl sits near an open window. The only light in the room comes from a small candle on a nightstand. The Warden stares at Tinn for a moment. "Blackerly, what is...YOU'RE NOT BLACKERLY!!"
