Lia
Andando
"My name is Zellara, the cards tell me you uncovered yesterday a dark secret of Sandpoint, unfortunately to stop the evils that are happening here you must stop the man behind it all, Gaedren Lamm. He is an evil man, behind most of the evil things that happen here in Sandpoint, and I have personal reasons to hate him. He is protected by the Lumber Consortium which wields a strong influence; enough to have the authorities turn a blind eye. Will you help me stop his evil, stop the slavery, the murders and the thefts?”
Lia Vantas
Knowledge (Arcana): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Lia is at least relieved to know the lady's name.
At Zellara's request, her face falls. Gaedren Lamm: he's apparently the one behind... The memory of the serving girl's happy smile as she tipped her... the innkeeper's confused face... both dead. The memories are enough to spark Lia's resolve.
"If this Gaedren is really behind all this, I'll help. But I need more information first."
Aerodus Lurconarr Charthagnion
Aerodus walks over to the table, picks up one of the apples, and eats it. 'So, Zellara, Gaedren Lamm's behind all of this. Now we're getting to my speciality. Tell us about him, where he is, and how well protected he is. Will there be some form of payment?"

Aerodus
”I can’t pay you anything, but I can give you information on him. As to who was murdered…” she stops for a second and takes a breath, ”It was my son…” she pauses again, ”He will be in the old fishery this afternoon, he will only be there with his personal body guards so it should be easier to stop him then.”
Andando Morte
"Yeah proof, like the priest said." Andando adds while pocketing several of the delicious apples.
"And why should we care if we're not getting paid to help." he adds under his breath. Pondering what Aerodus meant by "his speciality."
Venator Legatti
"So, if it's as simple as that and we need to find proof on our own, why did you bring us here? Couldn't you just have said it is the road where there was no one close??"
Aerodus Lurconarr Charthagnion
Aerodus takes the key and inspects it.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
He asks, "And what is this key for exactly?"
Jirani Shores
Sorry, Toddler + Wife in Grad School make for a hard weekend mix sometimes...
Jirani continues to simply follow. Pharasma had led him here, or so it might seem. There was nothing threatening only things slightly "off". He would wait and watch. The others kept asking the right questions Jirani would merely wait to see if any of the answers were wrong...
Andando Morte
Inhaling sharply through his teeth with a SSTHH sound, "Ooh, let's stay away from words like plunder my dear, they tend to make peole uncomfortable, and heavens know I don't need any more help with that." He laughs shooting Lia a knowing look.
Aerodus Lurconarr Charthagnion
After Zellara tells him what the key is for, he puts it away, draws his bow, and says: "Yes. Let's get our kill!"
Lia Vantas
Lia's grip on her sword tightens. If Sandpoint's law was really as corrupt as she heard, they may have no choice but to kill Lamm. On the other hand, if they could get Lamm to talk about the smuggling & slavery, they may stand a chance at bringing the whole affair to a suitable end.
"Aerodus, we may wish to interrogate Lamm once we confront him. He might be able to tell us if he's an independent operator, or if he's part of a larger scheme."
Jirani Shores
It is rare for a single man to be responsible for such a corruption of town. He surely has compatriots. We should make sure we find out who...
Aerodus Lurconarr Charthagnion
Aerodus rolls his eyes. "Fine. Then let's find him, injure him, interrogate him, and drag his sorry a** to the Sheriff."
Venator Legatti
I really like maps and can help you with them if need be. But I'm ok with moving this without one if we must. Just send me the map you want and I can make it work, google drawings are awesome.
Aerodus Lurconarr Charthagnion
While I'd prefer a map, I think I can make do if there's no way to get it working.
Venator Legatti
Actually, maybe. Are the sheriff's office along the way? It might be a good idea to stop there and have a little conversation with the man. What do you think, folks?
Aerodus Lurconarr Charthagnion
I'll go along as well. But I'm being careful with my identity.
Venator Legatti
I'm giving up on the idea. We could be overheard by corrupt guard, or could have be forced to lay the problem on their hands, which will not work in our favor. Let's go straight to the place at the docks.
Aerodus Lurconarr Charthagnion
I can sneak in as well. I have a +7 to Stealth. So i should be good.

You all arrive at a rotting wooden building by the edge of the docks, the building looks like it has been abandoned for a while. The reek of brine and the stink of week-dead fish hang thickly in the air here. The old double doors in the side of this weathered building are tightly closed, with a drooping signpost hanging above. The sign it once displayed is long gone, leaving behind only a single short length of rusted chain.
Lia Vantas
Lia shivers as a cold breeze blows in off the harbor, pulling her clothes tightly about herself. She eyes the dilapidated building with an analytical gaze, as if searching for possible alternate entrances or exits aside from the front door.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
"So, how do you think we should go about this?" She asks the assembled party, her eyes not leaving the 'fishery'.
Well, I suppose it sounds better than rotting eyesore that smells like death.
Andando Morte
Smells like s**t. Why do I always end up in places that smell like s**t? Andando thinks to himself.
"Let me take a look goodlady Lia." he says with a smile.
Dashing off to circle the building, scout and look for alternate entrances.
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Aerodus Lurconarr Charthagnion
Aerodus decides to head forward behind Andando, sneaking to get a better look.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
