ACG Flenta - Fighter

Chuffy wrinkles his nose at the bed smell Retus is leaving behind. When he spots the Living goblin still lying in bed, he enters the room asas fast as he can, dogslicer at the ready and hoping to rush her before she gets up. She probably woke from stinky Retus smell. He ruin everything!

Also drawing my elixir in the surprise round, will breathe it in the real round.

That is enough healing for Reta to wake. If she wants to. Maybe she thinks the floor is comfortable.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

The fight concluded, there is a bit more time to look over the room.

Vorka carried 3 green potions (CLW, similar to ones you found prevoiusly), one brown potion, a Desnan candle (firework). She wears a charred and bloodied leather armor and carried a scimitar and 6 darts. The frog is only notable for his teeth and very long tongue (20').

There are several nicknacks littering the room, objects that once belonged to the crew of the ship. The majority of these are filthy and broken, but the goblins spend a bit of time scavenging and discover a small statues of colorful serpentine dragons, towering cliffs, delicate humanoid figures, and strange pagodas—not that a goblin would know a pagoda from a tool shed.

Even the filthy or broken clutter here could be worth about 600 gp to the right collector, but as they are mostly made of bamboo, exotic wood, and in some cases paper, they’re probably more fun to burn. Among the more obviously valuable objects are 140 gp, a bejeweled silver and jade lantern built to look like a coiled dragon worth 150 gp, a dozen masterwork shuriken, an ivory and gold fan depicting a gecko walking amid cherry blossoms worth 80 gp (the reverse side of this fan has been used by Vorka to draw a crude map of Brinestump, not unlike the one Scribbleface created), a long hairpin with a red pearl at one end worth 150 gp, a wand of some king, a pink potion in a crystal vial shaped like a heart (the vial itself is worth 50 gp).

Most importantly, though is the red chest: the object of your quest.

Unlocked, it contains several fireworks. The chest itself is heavy and worth 150 gp, and there were obviously once many more fireworks within (Scribbleface probably managed to steal many of them by sneaking into this room while Vorka was out hunting; or maybe Vorka used some), but those that remain should be more than enough to satisfy the chief for at least a few days. The fireworks in the chest consist of 14 Desnan candles, 20 paper candles, and seven skyrockets.

The fire burns merrily, eventually engulfing the dog chained to the foremast, and an even more terrified (and more terrifying) dog locked in the galley that you never encountered. The smoke is seen far and wide. Even the stupid humans probably saw it.

The chest is heavy, and some sleight justice is had by making the temporarily stronger goblin carry it until his potion of bulls strength wears off. From there the goblins take turns, stopping occasionally to devise clever (and sometimes, noisy) ways of making the huge chest lighter.

The big Chief Gutwad welcomes you back with open arms. He doesn't take back his treasures too quickly, as you're all now big heroes in the village. There is much feasting, and burning, and, of course, fireworks.

Until, one day, you run out, and are again sent on a quest for more fireworks ...

Th-th-th-that's all, folks! This has been We Be Goblins. Chronicles link in the discussion tab.

Please go ahead and get your pregens sorted out. There can be doubles, but one of each is ideal.

When you know who you are, please create an alias and populated its stats.

Then, post the following here in discussion:
* Player Name
* Character Name (alias AND goblin name)
* PFS ID# of the 1st-level character you're applying this chronicle to.

Note: As a nod to the craziness (and short-livedness) of goblins, this module has the unique benefit of applying a useful chronicle, even if the pregen dies. So, go crazy.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

So there is no confusion, yes, there are five of you at this four-person table.

Female Owlbear Animal companion/3 [HP:21/21] [AC:18/T:14/FF:14] [F:+4/R:+6/W:+2] [CMB:+5/CMD:19] [Speed: 40 ft., Init.:+3]

Thank you for the clarification. I have to admit, my first thought when reading this morning was "Aww crap, I got booted!"

ACG Flenta - Fighter

Can we start the adventure, even though it's not the 19th yet?

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

*cough* Probably shouldn't, but unless there are objections, I'm willing to begin.

With pregens, no one's character is otherwise engaged, so no harm there. The first little bit is all talking anyway.

Plus, I'm out of pocket for much of the 19th, until late in the evening, so I figured I'd kick things off here.

If any of y'all aren't ready—or don't wish to start early—I understand.

ACG Flenta - Fighter

I'm fine with starting now. Just wanted to make sure that it was OK. I'm not too familiar with how strict the rules of PbP Game Day are. That's why I asked.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

It's Sept 19th somewhere (*cough*, Australia, *cough), so let's get started!

I'm editing the faction to Grand Lodge if that's alright. Sorry, this character is still in development and I can't decide what faction would best fit a dwarf barbarian.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

BTW, @Retus, I loved your descriptions of the potions. Made me laugh out loud.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

In case you missed it, Retus got a call out in the Gameday weekly summary for gobliny awesomeness.

Well done!

Female Owlbear Animal companion/3 [HP:21/21] [AC:18/T:14/FF:14] [F:+4/R:+6/W:+2] [CMB:+5/CMD:19] [Speed: 40 ft., Init.:+3]

Lol, that's so cool! I didn't realize that was part of the gamedays.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

I figured why not? The only difference for the table is the possibility of extra boons and gift certificates. My reporting is slightly different, but mainly more rewards for the table.

Kiri Frostbrand | Magus 1 | HP 9/9 | AC 16; Tch 12; FF 14 | F +3; R +2; W +2 | CMB+3; CMD 15 | Speed 30 ft | Init +2 | Scimitar: +3 (1d6+3/18-20) | Perc +3

Heh...awesome. :)

Did you turn that in, GM? If so, thanks!

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

Yep, I submitted it. Anything that makes my laugh out loud at my computer will be submitted. And goblins are well suited for that.

We'll roll for boons at the end, too. (Hooray!)

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

I'm not encouraging you to let Reta die, but please know that as a special rule in We Be Goblins (only) there is no penalty for death. You still get a full chronicle and XP.

Kiri Frostbrand | Magus 1 | HP 9/9 | AC 16; Tch 12; FF 14 | F +3; R +2; W +2 | CMB+3; CMD 15 | Speed 30 ft | Init +2 | Scimitar: +3 (1d6+3/18-20) | Perc +3

I will be taking a Fall Break trip with my family to Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde.

I'll likely not be able to post from Thursday to Sunday, so feel free to bot me if I'm up!

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

I'll be putting together chronicles tonight or tomorrow.

In the mean time.... BOON ROLLS!

Boon Rolls:
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Chuffy: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Mogmurch: 1d20 ⇒ 20
Poog: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Reta: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Retus: 1d20 ⇒ 9

Boon of players choice on a natural roll of 1 or 20
**Re-Rolls not allowed on boons**

A BIG congrats to Mogmurch (Hawkeye127)!

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

Chronicles are up! See link here.

I will be taking this link down in a few weeks, so please make sure to download your chronicles.

I'll finish reporting the campaign to the Gameday IV staff as soon as I get one more piece of info back from our boon winner.

Once everyone has checked in that they've received their chronicle, I'll mark this campaign inactive.

As always, feedback for the GM is welcome. You may post here, or PM, or have your buddy PM.

You guys were a blast, and I'd love to see each of you again.

Thanks.

Just got mine printed and it looks good. Thanks, GM!

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

I'm gonna un-inactive this thread, briefly ...

This module has been reported to Paizo, and should now show up on your session list.

Can someone check to make sure the Prestige Points reported are correct (that is, 1 for each of you)? I'm realizing I may have goofed something in reporting it to Gameday staff, and want to make sure it came out okay.

(Your chronicles are correct.)

Reporting on my character is correct, shows 1 PP.

Silver Crusade

I see 1 PP reported. Everything looks ok.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

Sweet. Thanks. Back to marking this inactive.
