Chuffy wrinkles his nose at the bed smell Retus is leaving behind. When he spots the Living goblin still lying in bed, he enters the room asas fast as he can, dogslicer at the ready and hoping to rush her before she gets up. She probably woke from stinky Retus smell. He ruin everything!

Still trying to get out of Reta's shadow, but strangely tied to her almost as if they were siblings, Retus draws his fiery elixir and prepares to show her how a real goblin breathes fire.
Also drawing my elixir in the surprise round, will breathe it in the real round.

Seriously? Dang, these are not so action efficient, are they... in that case, in order to take advantage of the flatfootedness, can I recon?
Reta moves in, deciding to take out the frog first.
Surprise round: Move; Round 1: Attack with dogslicer (standard), draw elixer (move).

It lasts for an hour, so I think the intent is to prepare beforehand, much like mage armor and such. Yes, please retcon if you wish. (It's why I've waited to resolve.) I'll wrap up the round later this evening (~4+ hrs)

Reta moves in. Chuffy and Poog move in as well. Moggy downs a mutagen and Retus draws his elixir.
As everyone gets settled, Reta slices at the giant frog.

Reta feints the wrong way and takes the full force of the bite. She drops to the ground bleeding, nearly bitten in half.
"You'll all die miserable, horrible little deaths," Vorka cackles. "Then I'll turn your bones into flatware. That one's skull will make a nice soup bowl, and her eyes a scrumptious soup!"

Poog's action last round actually had to be draw the wand then cast CLW with that as I'd used my spell version earlier. Doesn't change much though. Also, my paladin who can't roll above a 12 is jealous of that frog.
While Poog would appreciate making his dogeslicer a frogslicer, he knows better after watching it munch on Chuffy and Reta. He backs away slowly, puts away his weapon, and sends a dart of fire at the amphibian.

It's only been one (and a part) round so far. I think when Retus and Mogmurch join in there will be a fair bit of damage dealt. Dropping a main foe in two or three rounds is still pretty impressive.

Chuffy comes back to consciousness with a start. He murmurs something, like in a dream, before realizing where he is. "Bright light, and horse meat everywhere. Chuffy horse slayer. ... Eep!" Spotting the toad next to him brings him back to his senses quick enough.
Chuffy scrambles back against the wooden pillar, fending off the frog while trying to stand up.

He can't seem to get away, though, stuck against the mast. He waves his dogslicer across his body as fast as he can, hoping it will ward off the toad from biting him. Again.
Total defense for AC 21. I think you've got this covered from a damage-perspective. :)

The frog looks like some sort of exotic cuisine, its legs fully cooked but some of its innards tartare. It gives one final croak before toppling over, dead.
GM Crucible
That is enough healing for Reta to wake. If she wants to. Maybe she thinks the floor is comfortable.
GM Crucible
The fight concluded, there is a bit more time to look over the room.
Vorka carried 3 green potions (CLW, similar to ones you found prevoiusly), one brown potion, a Desnan candle (firework). She wears a charred and bloodied leather armor and carried a scimitar and 6 darts. The frog is only notable for his teeth and very long tongue (20').
There are several nicknacks littering the room, objects that once belonged to the crew of the ship. The majority of these are filthy and broken, but the goblins spend a bit of time scavenging and discover a small statues of colorful serpentine dragons, towering cliffs, delicate humanoid figures, and strange pagodas—not that a goblin would know a pagoda from a tool shed.
Even the filthy or broken clutter here could be worth about 600 gp to the right collector, but as they are mostly made of bamboo, exotic wood, and in some cases paper, they’re probably more fun to burn. Among the more obviously valuable objects are 140 gp, a bejeweled silver and jade lantern built to look like a coiled dragon worth 150 gp, a dozen masterwork shuriken, an ivory and gold fan depicting a gecko walking amid cherry blossoms worth 80 gp (the reverse side of this fan has been used by Vorka to draw a crude map of Brinestump, not unlike the one Scribbleface created), a long hairpin with a red pearl at one end worth 150 gp, a wand of some king, a pink potion in a crystal vial shaped like a heart (the vial itself is worth 50 gp).
Most importantly, though is the red chest: the object of your quest.
Unlocked, it contains several fireworks. The chest itself is heavy and worth 150 gp, and there were obviously once many more fireworks within (Scribbleface probably managed to steal many of them by sneaking into this room while Vorka was out hunting; or maybe Vorka used some), but those that remain should be more than enough to satisfy the chief for at least a few days. The fireworks in the chest consist of 14 Desnan candles, 20 paper candles, and seven skyrockets.

Retus pats Chuffy on the head.
"Fire make everything better..." he says as he helps light the ship, along with anything else that is flammable.
"Goblins win! Retus prove he better than Reta! But Retus still like Reta and think she prettiest goblin, but Retus just glad he not Reta. Goblins go home now?" he says as they watch the ship burn.
GM Crucible
The scenario says the ship is too wet to burn. But that probably means *from the outside*.
Retus starts happily preparing a bonfire in Vorka's cabin, before someone points out that they should move the fireworks first.
The goblins manage to lug the 50 lb chest a safe distance away.
You can just light the ship on fire at this point, or go kill a dog and explore the final area(s). Let me know what your plans are.
I'm preparing chronicles. They should be available tonight or tomorrow.
GM Crucible
The fire burns merrily, eventually engulfing the dog chained to the foremast, and an even more terrified (and more terrifying) dog locked in the galley that you never encountered. The smoke is seen far and wide. Even the stupid humans probably saw it.
The chest is heavy, and some sleight justice is had by making the temporarily stronger goblin carry it until his potion of bulls strength wears off. From there the goblins take turns, stopping occasionally to devise clever (and sometimes, noisy) ways of making the huge chest lighter.
The big Chief Gutwad welcomes you back with open arms. He doesn't take back his treasures too quickly, as you're all now big heroes in the village. There is much feasting, and burning, and, of course, fireworks.
Until, one day, you run out, and are again sent on a quest for more fireworks ...
Th-th-th-that's all, folks! This has been We Be Goblins. Chronicles link in the discussion tab.
Thanks for being a great table!
