Jory's shots find the flying combatant. The two arrows take pieces of flesh with them as they fly through the air. Jory moves back a few steps, trying to put as much distance between him and the flying foe.
Riley flies through the air and strikes at the soldier that is not in the pit. His weapon smashes the man in the face but the assailant is determined to keep living for a few more seconds.
The man rears back with his battle axe and tries to finish off Riley and get into the house! 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 Confirm: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11fail for Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6.

Riley barely twists aside from the axe blow, only taking a scratch on the arm. The forge-line along the edge of his weapon glints in the faint light. "Not bad, sir, but I'm afraid I can't allow you to enter. Please lie down." With that, he begins another assault.

Sutoku moves up to the top of the stairs to the lighthouse, his Nodachi at the ready. Fendahl is at his heels.
Riley strikes the conscript again, the man is now bleediing heavily from several areas. I'd rather die at the hands than the hands of that mad man. At least, my family will see another summer the man responds to Riley. Suddenly, from the second floor a bolt of energy explodes in the man's chest and sends him to the ground unconscious.

Jory can't help but be impressed at the officer's style and technique. As he drops his bow he tries to stay on top of the officer and maintain some control in what appears to be a one-sided wrestling match.

Riley gives the fallen man a small gesture of respect before leaping again, this time intentionally down into the pit to engage the other assailants.

We are a little out of order here, Jory's failed grapple check ends round two. Looking back, Sutoku only got one action (double move). Do you want to use your bow action from above to count as your round two action, or did you want to close with your close combat weapon? Riley- your action just above this post would be the start of round four since your round three action was to to take down the soldier not in the pit.
Since I try to have PC's take actions at once so that we don't slow down too much, this happens. No worries, I'll try my best to keep them all straight. If there is any errors, its always in the PC's favor!
Jory ties to get out of the wrestler's grasp, but the monk isn't able to escape and only manages to get into a tighter bind!

I am a little confused here, but I do agree that I am about a round behind. If I can close and attack I will. the grappling enemy should be easier to hit while grappling.

Jezebel best sees one of the soldiers in the pit- he is hit by a wave of energy.
Sutoku closes on the wrestling leader and plants his edge dead into his back. The man starts to bleed from his huge wound. However, he maintains his grip on Jory trying to choke him out.

Just the wrestling monk is about to strangle Jory, a Nodachi pierces his torso and stops just short of Jory abdomen. The man jerks violently for a few moments and dies.
Only NPC's that are left at the moment are the two in the pit. Riley is well on his way to finishing one off. I'll make a deal to help move things along- how about I make a deal with you all and call this combat over in exchange for one extra use of a wand/heal spell.
Assuming you accept the deal, :)
Night starts to close in fast on the lighthouse. Rain and a heavy fog starts to move into the area. From his perch on top of the lighthouse, Jory and the others can see that the army is starting to move up the hill a bit.

Jory gets up and extricates himself from the arms of the grappler.

Looking specifically to the tengu: "You are quite the professional. I like your attitude and style."
Jory considers the new attack and asks:
"Does someone want to stay with me in this tower. The view is good, and I am now less sure of being by myself up here."

"This time, I think we should put three on the catapult to get as many shots off as we can. The more we kill on the field, the less fly over the wall. Also, getting this light fueled so we can see who is coming might be a good idea. Lets check that store room for any fuel. Any ideas on the lens?"
Jezebel will take a full minute to explore the storage room, hoping someone else will tag along.

Pointy stick to the thigh, or boulder to the head. If I had to randomly guess, I would bet boulder does a better job of killing enemies. The catapult overlooks we well. How about the archers and I fling boulders until the catapult becomes useless, then you switch to arrows?

There will be three minutes before the next wave hits
Jezebel looks in the storage room and finds only a barrel of whale oil that is used for the main light in the lighthouse. Sorry, I'm running this for several groups, I can't recall who found this and who didn't
Conferring wtih Sutoku, the two also determine that the light isn't able to be fixed quickly. It will require getting several sheets of glass. You can light it however to provide some light in the area (about 100ft of light).
The catapulters load the make-shift machine and launch several assaults onto their attackers. After the second volley Jory shouts that he can see several bowmen armed with flaming arrows. They start to pepper the house in efforts to set it on fire.
Any other actions before the attack begins? Please state if you didn't already what room you are in.
Jezebel Savet

The mage asks for help rolling the barrel of oil into the bedroom above the murder holes.
If they get through, we should use this, and throw down a torch. Jezebel then tries to locate some of the house's lighting for that exact purpose, making sure to have extra fire sources just in case, and tries to locate a kitchen pot sufficient to hold the whale oil. If she can, she brings that to a boil as well.
Jezebel yells down, "do we have any clerics? Someone who can create water? We should deal with those sparks before they become fires. Wizards can do amazing things with a little fire . . . "
Sutoku

Sutoku already looked for someone with create water. Finding none he led the servants in carrying water to wet he exterior of the house. So the building should at least be wet.
