My understanding is that once you have broken free you are done, just in difficult terrain. EDIT: Oops - I guess not: Creatures that make their save can move as normal, but those that remain in the area must save again at the end of your turn.

So you can easily move out of the area of effect at least, and I moved Hekra since he hold used a standard action last round.

Galia STR check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 detangles herself and moves to the far side of the area of effect.

Thanks! I use a program called tokentool and just liberally grab art from the scenarios or bestiary pdfs :) Toshizo would still have a standard action.

Hekra - you aren't anywhere close to being able to engange in melee combat. Even if you double moved around the entangled area you aren't close enough. Additionally, your spell combat attack is a full round, and both attack rolls would be at a -2 (so straight d20 rolls in your case it looks like), and without casting defensively you risk provoking an AoO. Sorry.

Out of combat

Searching around the Bog Mother and her log home you find a wand of cure light wounds and 8 amethysts worth 150 gp in total.

It's about another 5 hours of travel to Pier's End, and the time passes uneventfully. Nester Rees seems to be very happy to be out of the swamp land.

The sleepy fishing village of Pier’s End offers a warm inn, a hot meal, and a way for the Pathfinders to travel to the Isle of Erran. There are three captains capable of ferrying you to Escadar. Besides obtaining sea transport, there is not much here, but those looking to resupply can refer to the Piers End marketplace. The three captains are:

  • Darice Sumore - female human
  • Small Otti - male halfling
  • Crazy Old Tanner - old male human

Asking around the Pathfinders try to find out more information about the 3 captains.

Galia Aid Other Diplomacy (Gather Information): 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3

Darice resents never knowing her father and some say she longingly caresses the trinket he left behind for her.

Small Otti has a weakness for fine food and drink, and any deal with him is made sweeter if food is involved.

Some whisper that Tanner is not actually crazy, but no one is brave enough to find out.

How does the group wish to proceed?

Taking the prices from the CRB, purchasing Fine Wine at 10 gp.

Thanking the owner, Azeban sits down in front of Otti, motioning for the owner to bring the opened wine.

Escadar is the war port of Absalom, located on the Isle of Erran north of Kortos. It houses Absalom’s navy and is strategically placed away from Absalom’s treacherous Flotsam Graveyard. Furthermore, those nations intent on blockading Absalom must also deal with Escadar, for word spreads quickly, and Escadar’s armada can come to Absalom’s aid on short order. Along with the primarily military population, Escadar is also home to many gillmen (or Low Azlanti, as they call themselves). These amphibious humanoids have set up an embassy within the town, and it is with this organization the Pathfinder Society plans to trade Azlanti artifacts. The gillmen have agreed to meet the Pathfinders at a waterside tavern called the Grindylow’s Goblet.

The sounds of a busy tavern echo off the wooden walls of this unusual building. Resting precariously over Escadar’s harbor, the Grindylow’s Goblet offers an unequaled view of the water. In the bar’s center, a thick glass aquarium presents a striking display. Within the tank, a coral statue of a goblin with the lower body of an octopus hosts a school of colorful fish that flit about the nooks and crannies of its tentacles.

The Grindylow’s Goblet is a busy tavern that offers entertainment and drink to those visiting Escadar. Thick wooden planks support the tavern floor as it stretches out into the harbor, offering a splendid vista of Escadar’s harbor. Wooden walls and doors make up the tavern’s construction, and several torches fill sconces that cast the tavern in normal illumination. Two human servers busily provide food and drink to the tavern’s half-dozen patrons, and a striking woman tends the bar.

Galia:
You notice that even though she is trying to hide it with the way she wears her hair, but woman behind the bar is a gillman.

Hekra:
You notice that even though she is trying to hide it with the way she wears her hair, but woman behind the bar is a gillman.

After the Pathfinders have had a chance to settle in and order a drink, the gillman party arrives. The gillman contingent consists of only two Low Azlanti, a man and a woman. The male bears a delicately wrapped bundle of cloth, while the woman acts as bodyguard.

The male gillmen greets you and introduces himself as Shoalo; the other, a muscular female gillman remains silent and stoic. Shoalo sits at a table and places his package on the table, offering Nester Rees to come and examine it. The female gillman stands behind Shoalo, eyeing everyone with suspicion.

Shoalo invites the Nester Rees to do the same, placing his item on the table for inspection as well. He takes a tentative glance at the Pathfinders’ offering, muttering something to the female as he does.

Azeban:
You are certain that the gillmen's artifact is a fake.

Hekra:

Nester Rees seems quite content with the gillmen's artifact smiling and muttering to himself contentedly.

How would you rule casting while blinded? Sleep doesn't need a target, but I'm not sure how accurate I can be when I try to cast it near say, 'the place I remember the nearest exit/door being'. I think I can try a perception check for listening to try to pinpoint like when dealing with combat in darkness or invisible opponents (i.e. try to tell what direction he's moving in) and then 'try to hit the space where I think the opponent is'.

Azeban doesn't close his eyes quickly enough and becomes blinded. A burning sensation spreads throughout his eyes as his vision becomes completely white. "Thieves! Get the artifact back!"

He stumbles, gripping onto the nearest solid object and calls for the other patrons to aid them. "Help! They just stole from us!"

Azeban from my review of the somewhat murky factors involved I would say that you need to make a DC 14 Concentration check first. Because you are under the effects of another spell, so it's the original DC + the spell level of what you are casting (13+1) and then since everything has total concealment from you you'd then have a 50% miss chance. Though since it's a 10' burst even if you miss it might still get someone.

I don't see Galia next to a warrior on the roll20 map. If she is, then here's her action

Swing: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

For the Glory of the Veskarium! Docking Bay 3-3

Galia, she moved on her turn with a withdraw action :P

OK, I think I got shorted here, but no big whoop. Since I'm out of moves, she'll just rage

Toshizo blinks to clear his eyes and stays crouching.
