Although this is unknown to Odd herself, she is an outsider native to the material plane (an aasimar); she is just as confused as Papy when the spell fails...
You should still have the charge, I think? So you could cast it on Argus next round.

Ow I didn't see that. Well I think my character didn't know it either, so that's life. I think the spell's used, though. What do you say GM?

Enlarge person takes a full round to cast so Pappy can't pick a target until the he spends a move action next round to complete the spell. (I think he moved this round right?) Also only touch spells hold a charge after a miss.
Zymir calmly moves out of the mist and surveys the battle field. Seeing Du Mer facing off against the dwarf the Oracle smiles and focuses his mind on eliminating the threat.
Hold Person DC 21 (used eastern mysteries to up the DC by 2)

Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Vasily and Idgethun take care of another bold hobgoblin, while two other fall asleep.
Papy/Zymir: Actually, if you start casting a 1 round casting time spell with only a standard action, it takes your standard action (not the move action) from next round to finish the spell.
Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
"Honorless scum..." du Mer can barely articulate as Zymir paralyses him. Once the Taldan knight is defenseless, you have no trouble taking care of the remaining raiders and claim victory!
End combat.
Following the battle with Gaspar and his brigands, Jamila approaches to thank you, letting you in on the greater plot that had occurred. She admits to being a janni and explains that she has known Targos Min-Katheer for over 40 years, serving as both ally and sometimes lover to the heroic Pathfinder. She states that the two of them had stumbled upon a plot by parties unknown to cripple Qadira’s economy by disrupting
trade along the Silken Way. They had narrowed it down to just a few local merchants, but Targos began feeling the effects of his advanced age after suffering from heart pains and decided he would be ineffective in completing the mission. By agreement, rather than allowing Targos to slowly dwindle away from his ailments, Jamila gave him a dose of venom from a desert scorpion, and the famed venture-captain peacefully passed on to the afterlife. She and Targos felt the chances were great that the plotter would use the event of the trade route protector’s death to launch his plot. As such, she carefully ensured that all of the suspected merchants would be on the same caravan on which Targos’s body would travel with his Pathfinder escort-you. Though she thought Hokama might be the plotter, it turns out it was Gaspar who murdered his partner so he could secretly pay off a trio of harpies to waylay travelers along the Silken Way in conjunction with strikes by his hired band of desert brigands. Gaspar had hoped to attract the greater harpy colonies of southern Qadira to the easy pickings of the trade route and thus seal off the route for years to come. Once Jamila realized that you were still alive and could help her, she broke her cover and moved to end the threat to the all-important Silken Way.
The rest of the trip to Katheer is uneventful. Upon arriving in Katheer, Targos Min-Katheer is given a hero’s funeral attended by many Pathfinders (including some of the Ten), as well as notables from the satrap’s court and a few geniekin from the deep desert. Jamila claims Gaspar’s wares as compensation for the danger he placed her caravan under, but she gracefully gives her ring of djinni summoning over to
the Pathfinder Society, saying that she owes you a diyya, a blood debt, for the death of Targos Min-Katheer.
Adril Hestram, who is present in Katheer for the funeral, claims the ring in the name of the Decemvirate, and thanks you for your service. "You did well in your mission, Pathfinders. Not only did you successfully deliver Targos's body for the funeral, but you played a critical role in the arrest of Gaspar du Mer. Ol' Targos would have been proud of you! Now let's head back to Absalom, for we have other matters to attend to."
This is the end of your mission! I hope you enjoyed it (despite the absolutely nonsensical second fight in high subtier, doubling the number of hobgoblins and goblins just made that fight tiresome for everyone I guess). Chronicle sheets will be issued shortly in the Discussion thread. Thanks for playing!

Lady Jamila, it was an honor to be chosen to oversee the trasport of such a venerated man. He is as inspiration for all Pathfinders. As for our assistance in uncovering the plot and defeating Gaspar it is you who have earned this victory. You have the respect of me, my fellow Pathfinders, and the whole of Qadira for your brave actions.
At the funeral Zymir, quit taken by Jamila, praises the woman for he cunning and for the mercy she showed Targos Min-Katheer (not in an over the top way but very sincere & respectful). He offers his aid in any of her future endeavors and his sympathy for loosing such a close friend and companion.
Thanks again for running. I had a blast.

Honorless huh, we we're the ones stabbing someone in the back.
Argus growls at Du'Mer before making sure the man is unconscious.
