There is but one and Broker tries to ensure that there is none as he moves up, spots his quarry and lashes out with another roundhouse, feeling its impact reverbrate up his arm.
Halli screams like a little girl, which she is, when Broker appears in front of her. Broker raises his leg and lands a powerful roundhouse kick againsts Halli's neck. "Hahaha!" Halli laughs hysterically while her neck snaps, after which she drops to the ground with a creepy big smile.
The mist disappears. Searching the bodies of their ambushers, the party finds several potions, scrolls and a nice sum of gold.
The party continues to the Grand Lodge to report the results of their tasks. Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin thanks the party for carrying out his tasks, and assures them that not every mission for the Pathfinder Society involves running errands about Absalom. He congratulates them on proving their skill and responsibility, and promises them a new assignment in the near future to take them beyond Absalom’s unassailable walls. Ambrus also sends out some people to clean up the alley.
Broker was hired as a bouncer at a nightclub, and Broker’s gift for the job was quickly noted. Broker was incredibly good at scaring evildoers away, and never had to resort to his martial talents to do this. Thing was, Broker simply had a scary face. And because his face also scared every non-evil visitor of the nightclub off, Broker was fired.
Oric filled his journal with the events of the day, and managed to completely fill the journal with everything that had happened during and after completing the tasks. Oric left the journal at the temple of Iori, and started a new journal. One of the priests found the journal, and used it as inspiration for a novel with the title 'Oric in Wonderland'.
Rabbai was seen walking on top of the roofs by a woman. It should be mentioned the woman saw Rabbai through the window in her roof, and Rabbai happened to see the woman as well. It should also be mentioned the woman was taking a shower, and Rabbai's eyes accidentally saw something the woman didn't want him to see. It should eventually be mentioned Rabbai ran off before the guards arrived.
Riika spent a large part of her time on tinkering with new types of bombs. The accident that followed after some tinkering had been done, spread a blue gas cloud over the neighborhood. For nearly a week everyone in the neighborhood had a blue skin, including Riika. Around the time the color had worn off, the guards investigating the cause of the accident came a little too close to the source. Before the guards could figure out who exactly had caused the gas cloud to appear, Riika had fled the neighborhood.
