A sense motive reveals, as she's no longer trying to hide anything else, that she's speaking truthfully.

I'll wait for the others, before i take Sele's action as trigger.

Before the team approaches the new arrivals, Kivuli tries to hide within the shadows to make his way toward them without being noticed.

The beach is open terrain, following your friends towards the group will place you in plain view.

Harlis will look to move close enough to the unconscious woman and contemplate if the "sister" is a shapeshifter or the like.

Harlis isn't getting closer than 40ft from the boat, without seeming intrusive, but he can see an unconscious form of a female, and notices she indeed has the same face and hairstyle, supporting the claim of twin sisters.

Shapeshifters wouldn't maintain form, if unconscious, afaik.

"Just to cut you off there, I am a Paladin, yes with all the baggage and responsibilities that the name implies. .but don't let me stop you, please continue with your bribery attempt."

Actually I was thinking more of the sister talking. Shapechangers are good bluffers. Harlis isn't the type to be bribed off or letting unconscious people be taken away.

"Perhaps let me heal your sister then, being unconscious can be dangerous. She will also be able to speak for herself." Harlis convince the parties of another option.

The warriors seem to tense up, but remain passive.

Just to be clear Sele is going for his weapon but that is because he will not let them take her, not that he is going to mindlessly attack.

I'm taking the liberty to say Sele, in some wording, aids the diplomacy, if only to hear what Michellia has to say.

As especially the man named Olaf tenses up, visibly, the twin motions for him to hold.
"This will not change anything, Olaf."

Harlis, now very near to the warriors, heals Michellia via a means of his choosing, at which she wakes up, and sits upright in confusion.
"Eleanir, what is going on here."

Eleanir repeats the situation to her sister, while Sele has managed to 'free' his sword. Not drawing it quite yet, but ready to do so if needed.

....i overheard Alexander's protest, and i know he's right, you're not in love with that man, just like with the other one before him. It's an unspoken obligation of being a Blakros. I'm finished with exploring Garundi lands, and am ready for a greater challenge. Being the wife of a hellknight isn't your wish, so i'm doing you a favor, think about it. Michellia quickly looks at all gathered people, before answering.
"You are right, that this marriage is not of my own will. Yet what guarantee do i have that this Olaf holds true to his word?"

Eleanir: "He came to the Convocation to try and win your hand, did he not? This man is zealously devoted to your safety."

Michellia thinks for a moment.
"I admit, i do miss the freedom you and our adventuring cousins have, while being shackled to mother's expectations. I would agree to this, but next time, dear sister, do use less force with such elaborate endeavors."

This leaves the question....what does the team do now?

"Ladies, from woman to woman ... I do not know if that is such a wise decision. This ruse will be thorn in your thigh and you will not be able to enjoy the freedom or the feeling of obedience. Please let us discuss this in more detail." Enora pleads.

The sisters exchange a glance, before answering Enora..

Eleanir: "People have not been able to distinguish us from another since childhood, and we're close enough to be able to emulate the other's personality."

Sele shrugs and starts trying to repeace knot his sword.

"Having the ability to do something does not mean that one should always do that thing. Additionally, Hellknights of Damian's reputation make enemies that may come to seek revenge on his wife, no matter who is playing the role. Do you truly want to put your sister's life at risk should that happen? However, The Society has kept secrets for your family in the past. I know not if it is my place to reveal what you have done, but to keep this from your mother would surely damage our relationship with the Blakros."

Harlis will convert a Spiritual Weapon into Cure Moderate

Cure Moderate wounds: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (3, 3) + 7 = 13

Harlis looks on awaiting the answer to Kivuli's argument knowing he cannot condone the adultery of the swapping, but feeling condemnation is not what is needed here.

"I am not known as someone who restricts freedom but I am known as a lady that is true to her obligations. And my obligation is to Nethys, to the Pathfinder Society and to my family in Rahadoum. But I also understand that one has to break free from traditions ... if ... if that was not true I would never have taken the faith to the all-seeing god. So I wish you all the best on your path but know that I will inform your family and Damian about this." and with that Enora looks at the rest of the group signaling that it is time to go.

"I may not being going to make you come back, I'm also not going to lie to damian."

Says Sele as he is getting ready to go back to the reception.

Kivuli's suddenly quite versed in common, how about that. :)

In response to Kivuli:
Michellia: "None would know, we are skilled enough."
Eleanir: "Lying? He'd see his wife, and will not ask questions to which you'd be inclined to lie or not."

While the sisters are confident they can do this, the same can't be said from Olanf and his men.
Seeing the pathfinders won't remain quiet, even with both sisters agreeing to the plan, Olaf and his men turn to action.

Olaf: "No! I can't let disaster come about because of you talking! All is at stake!", and his form starts become less clear.

Green flies into a rage and storms towards El Garrapata.

Interesting, but i wonder if that would apply to a mindset that's out for wanton.

Olaf and the barbarians, except blue, are out of commission for a maximum of 7 rounds, depending on how long Harlis concentrates. What's the plan?

Sele recognising magic at hand and that magic has limitations will now start drawing his sword again.

"We or at least I am not going to stop her going where she pleases, I am just not going to go along with your deception, of the Hellknight Damian Blakros. You choose to attack because of your "vision", to me the righteousness of your cause flees with your actions." he says as he is untying

Garrapata stares at the twin sisters, unable to tell them apart. He watches the others and listens to their words, but doesn't take any offensive actions. "So, the bride doesn't wish to be married, but her sister does, and the bride can go FREE while her SISTER becomes the bride? GREAT TWISTING PLOTLINES! AND Olaf? What have you seen in your VISIONS? I mean, I'm only a SIMPLE SUPERHERO, but I can't see any reason to spoil their SURPRISE, if everyone is already HAPPY."

"End..of the world…..
Earthquakes, floods..monstrous beasts rampant...death.. too much death… She by my side in vision....death stops."

"You speak as if another Spawn of Rovagug is to arise. By Iomedae's blessing I have cleared your mind so we can speak. Your tactics involve kidnap, murder and adultery, but you claim your task is a just and good one. Blue pauses in his attacks, surprised at his leader's calmness.

"I am a seer in my clan. I got a vision some time ago. The land all around, as far as the eye could see, suffered from earthquakes and floods, followed by monstrous trolls and other beasts running rampant with wanton destruction. The Blakros maiden appeared at my side, and the disaster ceased."

"My visions in the past have always come true. Troll attacks, weather events, i warned my brother in law not to go somewhere because of a wyrm, he didn't listen, he got eaten..."

"It was a sign. I will prevent this disaster from happening, by any means neccesary."

Sense motive result: This man fervently believes his vision's a genuine warning, and will likely go to the ends of the world to prevent it. And ulfen warriors are not the most subtle of cornered cats.

"You could just let the lady talk to her family, rather than trying to kill the people that just want to tell her family the truth. If your cause is so just the truth should not hamper it." says Sele with a hint of resignation

This time Michellia speaks up.

"That is not as easy as it is for the average families. It's more complicated than that. Our family has a reputation, going against tradition -against our mother- would dishonor us as a person greatly. It would also be a stain upon our family's reputation. I sought out this man because of expectations of finding a reputable husband. But i have my reservations about it."

Eleanir:

"I will admit i was somewhat jealous as well, of your success. Sure, i got to venture out with our cousins, but any married relative of ours has some higher public esteem, than an unmarried one. Given circumstances for all parties, Olaf's plan of doing a quiet switch was the most beneficial course of action."

"Minus the lump on your head, Michellia...sorry."

"Psssh for a family to deserve an honourable reputation they must be honourable, this means their good deeds must outweigh their bad. If the family has acted in such a way that you must resort to deceit to get away, then they deserve the dishonour. Now if this man attacks us, we will defend ourselves." says Sele as he draws his sword finally

"They are, but very much traditional. Such is being a Blakros."

Olaf grins.
"Only if you can't keep your mouth. Otherwise i have no quarrel with you."

Garrapata tears up as the family drama intensifies. "So MUCH LOVE! HUG IT OUT, people, HUG IT OUT!" He bear-hugs as many of those present as he can. "I don't see any reason to TELL ANYONE ELSE about this. As long as YOU'RE HAPPY, I AM HAPPY!"

"So Olaf, did your future sight say also that you must kidnap? Why indeed not just take your plea in plain view? The Lady is obviously willing to go. Why the skullduggery? The Blakros can gain political favor for stopping the disaster, why hide the task?" Harlis asks.

"Since she declined my asking back at the convocation, subduing and explaining when the plan was executed, was the best course of action. We are not diplomats with miles on end patience, especially with imminent disaster in the future. We are a people of action."

"It makes my heart burn with excitement that she agrees, but i cannot afford word reaching her family or those hellsquires."

"To add, her family has no influence in our northern lands. Their people would be booted out of our borders quickly."

The wayang adds, "Perhaps a written letter to be delivered to your mother explaining the circumstances. This could prevent 'public' disgrace or dishonor."

”As the existing marriage is one of duty that seems one party no longer wishes to follow can I propose to make this legitimate; an annulment. Then two other marriages. One between Eleanir and Damian. The second between Olaf and Michellia. No falsehoods. Damian must be in agreeance also. But the Blakros would gain two new scions and two happier partnerships.”. Harlis suggests prompted by his large blue companion.

Olaf: "That takes too long, and an ulfen can't be officially wed outside our lands."

We've completely derailed this thing right now.

I reckon calm emotions is about to expire, as it lasts a max of 7 rounds, provided Harlis was concentrating.
So i'd like to know, if anyone is going to spill the secret back at the reception, could they post IC please.
With the spell about to expire, this will direct the course of the situation.

Sele will he will speak to Damian and Madam Blakros and advise of what has happened, for now though his mind has not changed he is waiting for the lunatic ulfen to attack. Seles friends are still at risk from him

"We should all leave before the spell wears off if we have not changed our minds."

Nodding to Sele and looking at the women staying in the boat Harlis then adds. "As Michellia wishes to leave I have no problems, this is no longer a kidnap."

Enora was silently watching the group and it seems as she is on Sele's side on this one.

She starts to walk back slowly still facing the boat.

During all the talking, Olaf and his men had ben walking back and forth.
When the group walks away, the spell wears off.

I've placed you 20ft eastwards, mathcing the group to the shorter members' movement speed.

Olaf, not hearing consent of silence coming from the pathfinders, once again falls into his deperation to keep the secret.

"They won't keep silent, they leave us no choice, for the preservation of the world!"
