I was hoping for a little more participatory RP before Grumblejack and I start exploring with them. Perhaps a plan of action discussed while the charmed guard reveals all. A ten-minute convo in game can last a week IRL. That is why I fronted my questions THEN the exploring would begin. If we must "Cry Havoc and let loose the dogs of war" to jump start this game, I would be willing to forsake the stealthy and slow approach.

Lets give this until Wednesday. Then Tin, Grumblejack, Slevin and whomever else is here will resume our effort. With attrition, it would be a more realistic breakout that way. Interested? I'd prefer a TPK vs unfinished campaign. Big Om can add Killer DM to his resume'. Brandascar Prison's rep remains intact.

Eurgh...still here, just. . . saw the message, meant to get around to a reply of some kind, real life intervened, and suddenly it's two weeks later with no new posts and I'm kinda wondering if the game's been allowed to die.
Suggesting we try to move forward one last time.
Tin Jasha |
Ok Wednesday.
Lets assume Lucia pumps her best friend for information: Armory location, keys, patrols, escape prevention measures, and where is our dear friend Blackerly?
Grumblejack and Tin will lead the way to the armory while Slevin provides backup. Lucia and BFF can follow as advisors until spell is broken/wears off. You may want to disarm and remove any accessories from him before that happens.
So answers first, then our foray downstairs begins.

Looks like Lani is no longer active. Aliases seem to be in similar absentee status.
The lineup
1) Luci-Bard
w/temporary charmed guard help
2) Slevin-Inquisitor
3) Tin-Cleric
4) NPC Grumblejack the Ogre.
While I had no intentions of Tin being a tank, I think she'll adapt nicely to front line assault tactics. She'll probably go mama bear for those under her care/leadership.
Tin would not likely not dally with distractions. She would, however, support a scorched earth policy behind her. She is not a pyro just time is of essence in her mind and destruction of resources is an appropriate response.
A quick loot of useful items, set fire if it serves a purpose and distraction, ambush responders if possible, depart. Feel free to convince her otherwise.

Lucia...probably wouldn't be in favor of setting anything on fire before an alarm is likely to be raised.
She doesn't give a carp about the stuff, it's just that if people are panicky they're moving more than they otherwise would be, and that means more trouble. But hey, live and let die, one supposes....wait, that's not quite how that goes.
ReckNBall |
Tin Jasha here, please ignore the ReckNBall behind the target.
I did do a bit of research. Several of the potential recruits have gone on to other WotW PBPs.
Here are three that didn't and the aliases are still existing in profiles. In order of preference.
1)Hazel-Witch- by Padawan09
2) Vlad Grey- barbarian- by True Repentance. (plus he has fine taste in avatars.)
3) Gimlet Bravo - Chainmail - Aasimar Antipaladin (Lord of Darkness) - High Treason
In the matter of full disclosure: I am currently in a PBP run by Chainmail. If selected, I will expect and demand favoritism and kickbacks in the other campaign. I am evil after all. ;-)
Gimlet Bravo |
Ready for evil duty on the front lines!
Needed to make some changes, I Changed him to a tiefling to NOT get picked for another WotW campaign. He is a small aasimar again.
Baby faced hobbit with the angelic face and the black heart. He will be the armored front line warrior that can take the punishment.
I planned on stacking the intimidate abilities, and realize the size difference will most often cause a -4 penalty. I think a small, angelic looking creature trying to intimidate will make for some great RP.
Let me know when I can post in the main thread. Also I assume I am still a prisoner and am wearing my 'hood of shame'.

The dirty dirty thoughts going through Tin's mind right now.
Why Slevin, this is quite the opportunity to pimp out your cell mates for male fantasy with little to no repercussions. Who is going to tell, who will believe, and who will care?
She should give him a big smackaroo with a butt squeeze. But I'll save those actions for the Play thread.
Tin Jasha |
Stealth 1d20+7 Ninja Assasin!
Oh great. The disguised prisoner cum guard is an invisible ninja assassin. Lets see how that ends up...
Dogs barking, door unlocked, prisoners walk thru. Known guard chases behind. Yeah this will end up well.
Tin Jasha |
She'll prefer an easily donned/shedded armored coat, a decent heavy mace and a couple of spring loaded wrist sheaths. She has the (un)holy symbol of her patron from the veil, she'll keep that for sentimental reasons. She'll probably seek a nice gold/silver chain to hang it on. Otherwise, she gets a perverse pleasure out of using her opponents gear against their own kind. So if the coat and mace are marked with "Church of Mitra Smithy" or equivalent, this would give her giggles.
